You can also experience harvesting pesticide-free vegetables at Rokugatsu Farm (reservation required). You can also enjoy dishes made with freshly picked vegetables and Matsusaka beef from a nearby butcher shop. Guesthouse Agae is a limited stay for one group that has been renovated from an old private house.Located in a very convenient location, about 550 meters (about a 7-minute walk) from the Kumano Kodo and Kinro-Oji, and within a 1-minute walk of a supermarket (A-COOP), a bus stop (Kodo Aruki no Sato Chikatsuyu), and a restaurant (Tororoya). The owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, so we will do our best to accommodate questions, advice, and pick-up and drop-off when you need it.We can also provide a personal guide, so please feel free to consult us. To reach the house, you will need to climb approximately 50 steps (about a 5-minute walk), but a beautiful view and peaceful atmosphere await you at the top.

Reservation start from 2 person / 2 nights minimum. We accept only one group at a time so you will have exclusive use of the entire property. Guesthouse is a typical old Japanese house, not like a resort Hotel or Ryokan for business. We have no meal service. Mikiura village is surrounded by the clear blue sea and natural green mountains. You'll enjoy real Japan such as rural life experience, quiet time and beautiful nature.
