Cottage vacation rentals in Oceanside

We have stayed in this community many MANY times. I will say this.... You can't beat the location! The views and accessability to the beach, pool, parking was phenomenal! The beach toys and extra fans were great! The artwork in the unit was awesome and the owners brought a new table for the patio that was really nice! On the other hand.... this not the most updated condo, not the best equipt kitchen, and not the comfiest beds we have ever had in this community. For the extra money we would likely choose another unit next time.

The location was beautiful! The kids had fun visiting and feeding the farm animals. The glass (chickens) were very kind and provided us with delicious eggs. The host cared about our comfort and went out of their way to respond to our questions and needs. Being able to enjoy fresh citrus every day was a great plus!

Great house with all the necessities for a family of 4 with 2 young kids. North coast village was convenient and centrally located for our trips to San Diego, LEGOLAND, Temecula and Zoo safari park. We loved being close to the beach and appreciated the beach gear and towels that were provided.

This house was adorable, clean and in a great location. If it’s going to be hot while you stay, the house does get very warm in the late afternoon and takes a while to cool back down when the sun goes down. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. There were plenty of beach towels and extra towels. We had a great experience and would stay again given the opportunity.

Beautiful area, amazing house to stay in. Very private and the animals were so fun to see. The air conditioning worked so well, all the appliances, TV and hot water/shower were great. Her instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Was able to reference them when I needed. Driving to the house was harder than I expected…the road became one way and ran into an opposite coming car that made it difficult for us to move around each other. Overall it was a unique experience!! Loved hearing the animals and peacocks!! Would stay again and would recommend!

My friends and I felt this Airbnb was a great spot for us to call home for the time being. The house was cozy and her neighbors were friendly. I will not be surprised if we choose this location for next year's holiday vacation!

Check-in and stay were easy and we appreciated the designated parking space for our quick 2-night stay with our pup. This is out of the host’s control, but we did have some noises that kept us up a bit at night with the heating unit and potentially some critter walking around on roof. Those things are likely solvable with white noise machine.

Deanna and Craig were both so great accommodating my Mom (who stayed here), great place with tons amenities!!

Very cute little rustic place off the beaten path. Enjoyed the evenings on the deck. Beautiful views. Our dogs loved chasing the birds and the lizards.

The place is in a beautiful location and felt very private. Overall, I had an amazing experience and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Dona for being such a fantastic host!

We really enjoyed staying at Rays place. We will definitely be back again soon. Probably my favorite spot on the Strand. Ray was very responsive to any questions I had. Very friendly. The place was clean and having the beach and strand right outside was awesome. Enjoyed some hot tub time, nice gazebo out front. Was a great weekend! We love old California along the strand. Lots of other places are being torn down and big buildings are being built. Glad Ray still has this place going! 100% recommended.

Great little cottage near the beach.. with parking! Well designed indoor and outdoor spaces to just relax, or home base for a San Diego getaway.

We had such a great time staying at Terri’s Airbnb. The location was amazing. We walked to the/ from beach, coffee shops, and restaurants. Very affordable uber to other popular spots we visited as well. The home was better than advertised! Terri was a great host and super friendly and responsive. We hope to make another trip back next year!

Great, safe location. Perfect for my family with two adults and two kids. the house was in a nice neighborhood and was pushed back from the road so felt fairly secluded. Would definitely recommend to other people.

Perfect place for a couple for a weekend in nature! Booked Jaime's cottage for a wedding at the venue down the road and it was the ideal location. Looks just like the photos. Morning coffee on the back patio listening to the birds was a great break from city life!

Our stay at the cottage was so peaceful! It was only 15 minutes to our wine tasting tour in Temecula. It was nice to feel like we were in a “home” instead of a hotel. It was tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Everything was so smooth from the moment of reservation and communication to the time we left. Would definitely come back!

My husband and I absolutely loved staying here! So peaceful and relaxing. Everything was really comfortable, and we loved how close it was to all the beaches. Easy walk to local restaurants and a beautiful beach for sunset. Highly recommend this cutie stay!

The Airbnb was perfect for 3 people. The place was extremely clean and the beds were comfortable. The place is small but well designed and has all the amenities for a comfortable stay. It’s important to note it can be a bit noisy when the windows are open. The Airbnb is in a courtyard and off an alley so if there are others staying in the cottage across or it’s the day of trash pickup it can be very noisy. In saying this it’s a great place to stay and walking distance to cafes, restaurants and the beach!

Beautiful stay in La Jolla. I would love to stay again. I would suggest a disclaimer for small children on the description of the home, there are infant/ toddler height side tables that are glass and very pointy in the living room that we had to be very mindful of with the 10 month old and 3 year old. But the stay, and home was wonderful! Francis was very accommodating towards the kids needs of high chair and crib! Thank you so much!
