Villa vacation rentals in Oban

We booked this place for a family get together and we could not have had a better time. The house is beyond expectations and was very spacious for our large family. The facilities and rooms were well equipped and very clean. Lots of amenities were available. Susan and her mother came to visit us and they were extremely friendly and helpful with anything we asked them. The location, views, rooms and the host are all 5 stars. I definitely will be coming here again and would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.

Huge rooms with lots of space and very warm. Toilet on the ground floor with a lovely shower room up some stairs to the first floor. Everywhere was pristine. The private parking was also very welcome. A lovely country park nearby which we would have liked to explore further if we had the time.

I would be hard pressed to remember a better equipped house. the hosts had literally thought of everything-from crabbing buckets to pizza cutters. on top of this of this to house was absolutely pristine and everything was very new and extremely well laid out and decorated. this is a fantastic base for up to two families to explore the local area. two minutes from the beach and from the local hotel. can't recommend it highly enough!

Very comfortable house right in the heart of Newtonmore - was a perfect location for a family winter break. Lots of space with 2 lounges and generously sized bedrooms. Really well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen in particular plus lots of games and books for the wet days (there were a few!). Off-street parking, nearby co-op shop and responsive hosts made for a stress free and enjoyable stay. We hope to be back!

lovely place to stay. we were working in the area and it was good value compared to other places. tarbert is a beautiful village, only a 5/10 minute drive from the house. lots of space, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and a good outdoor space to spend time in. Caitlin was very flexible about letting us check in early which was great.

Remote with amazing views. Well set up lodge with comfy beds and the sauna added s soecial touch, lots of stairs to access. Wifi was a bit hit and miss in terms of signal strength. Overall a fantastic stay which met the expectations of the price of the property.

This place was incredible. Such a lovely house with amazing views, couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for a spacious house for a big group of you or a big family, this is the place. We were very much looked after with all the utilities we needed. Can’t really fault this place. Thanks again!

We had a great time on our friends stag do, the place was clean, full of amenities and things to do and still very peaceful with it being surrounded by nature. We were greeted as we arrived and got help pretty much instantly if we needed information or a hand with something within the property. Thanks for being great hosts!

Really stunning place with beautiful views! The place is kitted out and rooms are all great size. Super easy to pick up and return keys. Staff all lovely.

Our holiday family group consisted of grandparents in their 60s, a couple around 40, and two kids aged 5 & 7. All of us enjoyed the home, the view, the hot tub, and the nearby hotel indoor swimming pool. We found local hikes and adventures, and cooked many of our own meals at the house. The provided dishwasher was a wonderful help. We were able to wash our laundry at the house, and we opted to hang dry our laundry (drying rack provided), even though the machine could do both washing and drying of clothes. The beds were clean and comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and updated. When we needed refills on a few household items, the host responded quickly, and we received them the same day. We had a wonderful 5 night holiday at Beach House #3, and we highly recommend it.

This was a wonderful place to stay. There were 6 of us, and it was the perfect size. We also used the kitchen to make multiple big meals with no problems— so many pots and pans and utensils! We had a cozy night by the fire (in a beautiful fireplace!) drinking whisky. Tobermory is a magical place and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It’s worth the price!!

Fantastic hosts, beautiful villa that lived up to our expectations. Hassle free arrival and departure. We would most definitely stay here again.

Great location, good restaurant onsite

This is a lovely historic home in a stunning location -- you can walk to the town in 10 minutes but it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere when you look out the front windows at the amazing views of the sea and islands. The house is quirky and beautiful, and there was plenty of room for two families of four. We only used the dining room a couple times, but the kitchen counter with stools is fab for breakfasts., and morning coffee in the LR was perfect. Very helpful directions were provided. Tobermory was a good base for visiting puffin colony on Lunga and watching the dolphins play near Staffa; walks up the coast were lovely as well.

Our second stay at the lodge for a perfect family getaway. Idyllic location, great views, use of Cameron House facilities included, restaurants close by and a short walk into Balloch. The Lodge is well maintained and spotlessly clean and tidy. The host Claire is great to deal with and gives you lots of information.

We had a brilliant stay at Claire’s lodge at Cameron House. Location was spot-on, and the kids loved all the activities that were available to them, especially the swimming pool, and the park. Lodge was a perfect size for a small family, and Claire was excellent in the lead-up, during, and after our stay, answering any questions and offering local recommendations, and various discounts etc. We will definitely be back!
