Open all year. Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers and pets are very welcome and stay at no extra charge. There are many activities in the area for the outdoor enthusiast and Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Pennyfuir Pods No.1 (near Oban)

Our glamping pods are situated in our garden, just next to the main road into Oban with access to 24hour garage / shop 2 min walk away. Our garden has a brilliant access path to the hill behind which gives gorgeous views of Dunstaffnage Castle. we live on sight so are on hand for any queries. The Pod is well insulated and has a wall heater that isn't needed much in the summer months. They are cosy and comfortable for up to 4 people. (1 x double bed, 1 x single bed, 1 x sofa bed).
