Everything was great in general, the place is spacious, ideal to spend time with friends, recommended!

I was originally only going to stay for three days but now it’s going on. I think about three weeks now. I just really liked the home as well as the location.

Secure parking for my SUV and cargo trailer. Home is exactly as described. Pet friendly with a nice yard for the kids to play in. $7 taxi ride to the Centro. 15 minutes to horseback riding lessons. Overall a good convenient location to explore Oaxaca, especially if you have a car. Hosts speak fluent English and Spanish and just overall great. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

We were a group of 8 and we all loved staying at Abdias's home. It was the perfect home for gathering the group together, and also having private places to spend some private time alone. Abdias was extremely communicative and responsive and it was clear he wanted us to have the best time imaginable. Flor and Lucy were also amazing, they found out we were celebrating a birthday and surprised us with a delicious cake. The pool was incredible and the water pressure in the bathrooms was perfect, not easy to find in Oaxaca. I would highly recommend this property as the perfect place for a group to enjoy a wonderful city, and feel right at home.

Everything was great. Rooms were clean. Community area was nice. Simple kitchen. The location is super close to the city center as described. The only thing to note is if you have a room close to the street, the street noise is pretty loud. We had trouble with the lock box to get into the main entrance, but once the manager understood what was going on (the following day) they changed the lockbox code and everything was great.

Our stay was fantastic. Excellent stay with everything we needed. Robert and Maria are excellent hosts. Street side parking is easy to find. The only thing to make sure is the gps puts you on the right street. There is another address similar that we got auto corrected to. This spot is near Mirau Wa and Alma Raiz Cocina Saludable.

Spacious, comfortable, clean and very nice house. We would definitely come back, highly recommended! Just ignore the Google Maps instructions when entering Oaxaca. It's better to continue and enter through Colonia Reforma.

We stayed here with ten people for my son's wedding. It was the perfect option for numerous groups. We all had the privacy of our individual rooms but could gather together in the eating area or the central garden throughout the day. The location is perfect and close to town. Everything was within walking distance. It felt very safe and secure. The breakfasts were amazing! The staff was impeccable. Would highly recommend.

The stay was pleasant, only the villas do not have wheelchair access. At the reception, the men who attended us were not helpful, they seemed angry. Apart from that, the rest of the staff was very attentive and helpful, the food at the restaurant was delicious

A nice place without a doubt, I would go back, it has all the amenities and a lot of privacy, an excellent option for a weekend

Very nice facilities, very nice facilities, very good location, very quiet, ideal to rest from the hustle and bustle of work and the city, excellent service from the host, always pending, in general the stay was quite rewarding and for the cost it is more than excellent, thank you for the service provided by Sebitas, we hope to return soon.

Very nice house, cozy and good service

This was our second time staying at Octavio’s beautiful hacienda in San Pablo Etla, and it won’t be our last! The property is absolutely stunning—peaceful, spacious, and ideal for a relaxing getaway. It’s about 35–45 minutes outside of Oaxaca City, making it close enough for day trips, but far enough to enjoy some real peace and quiet. The grounds are immaculate thanks to Noe, the attentive groundskeeper. From the beautifully manicured gardens to the abundance of fruit trees, everything is thoughtfully maintained. The house we stayed in had everything we needed, including a large pool, plenty of grassy areas to lounge or play, and a covered area with a pool table and nearby bathrooms—perfect for hanging out during the day. This place is a hidden gem for the right price, and it’s clear Octavio puts a lot of care into making it a special place for guests. Our staycation here was everything we hoped for, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

The house is beautifully decorated. There's a lovely piano, the pool is solar heated and clean, there are hammocks, and the adobe keeps the home naturally cool and quiet. There are great views of the mountains and the city. There is a little market and a big park nearby. The park has a library for kids and an area with toys. There is also a small hotel next door with a fantastic restaurant called Entre Sombras. The staff at the house is helpful and friendly, but they also respect your space. And Marilee is quick to respond. We all enjoyed our time in this tucked away paradise.

We loved the house, the patio, garden, the view, the location, everything. We heartily recommend it. In the course of a 6 week stay, there were a couple of moments when we needed some things repaired and it was done very quickly, cheerfully and competently.

Casa de Lu is everything you imagine when you think of Oaxaca—spacious, beautifully designed, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean. The home is well-stocked with everything you might need, and while it does get warm (it is Oaxaca, after all), the provided fans keep it comfortable. Lu was responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. But the true heart of Casa de Lu—and the reason I would absolutely return—is Doña Caro. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. Not only did she help us with everything we needed (and I do mean everything), but her meals were delicious, authentic, and prepared with so much love—they truly made us feel at home. We were in town for a wedding and accidentally left our dresses behind at the house. Without hesitation, Doña Caro personally delivered them to us—40 minutes away—saving the day! We joked about taking her home with us (joking not joking 😂)! We loved our stay and made a new friend. Thanks Lu and Dona Caro!
