I was originally only going to stay for three days but now it’s going on. I think about three weeks now. I just really liked the home as well as the location.

Secure parking for my SUV and cargo trailer. Home is exactly as described. Pet friendly with a nice yard for the kids to play in. $7 taxi ride to the Centro. 15 minutes to horseback riding lessons. Overall a good convenient location to explore Oaxaca, especially if you have a car. Hosts speak fluent English and Spanish and just overall great. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Muy buen lugar y espacio para la familia, nos encantó la alberca y área de juegos, cuenta con espacio para reuniones pequeñas y las atenciones del personal muy buenas.

Everything was great. Rooms were clean. Community area was nice. Simple kitchen. The location is super close to the city center as described. The only thing to note is if you have a room close to the street, the street noise is pretty loud. We had trouble with the lock box to get into the main entrance, but once the manager understood what was going on (the following day) they changed the lockbox code and everything was great.

Our stay was fantastic. Excellent stay with everything we needed. Robert and Maria are excellent hosts. Street side parking is easy to find. The only thing to make sure is the gps puts you on the right street. There is another address similar that we got auto corrected to. This spot is near Mirau Wa and Alma Raiz Cocina Saludable.

Casa amplia, cómoda, limpia y muy bonita. Sin duda regresaríamos, ¡muy recomendable!. Solo no hacer caso a las instrucciones de google maps entrando a Oaxaca. Mejor seguirse y entrar por colonia reforma.

Fue agradable la estancia, solo que las villas no cuentan con acondicionamiento para sillas de ruedas, en recepción los w hombres que nos atendieron no fueron serviciales parecían enojados, de allí en fuera el demás personal muy atento y servicial, la comida del restaurante rica

Lugar Bonito sin duda , volvería a ir todas las comodidades y mucha privacidad, una excelente opción para un fin de semana

Instalaciones muy bonitas, los servicios muy bien, buena ubicación, muy tranquilo, ideal para descansar del ajetreo del trabajo y de la ciudad, excelente atención por parte del anfitrión, siempre pendiente, en general la estancia estuvo bastante gratificante y por el costo está más que excelente, gracias por la atención brindada por Sebitas, esperamos regresar pronto.

This was our second time staying at Octavio’s beautiful hacienda in San Pablo Etla, and it won’t be our last! The property is absolutely stunning—peaceful, spacious, and ideal for a relaxing getaway. It’s about 35–45 minutes outside of Oaxaca City, making it close enough for day trips, but far enough to enjoy some real peace and quiet. The grounds are immaculate thanks to Noe, the attentive groundskeeper. From the beautifully manicured gardens to the abundance of fruit trees, everything is thoughtfully maintained. The house we stayed in had everything we needed, including a large pool, plenty of grassy areas to lounge or play, and a covered area with a pool table and nearby bathrooms—perfect for hanging out during the day. This place is a hidden gem for the right price, and it’s clear Octavio puts a lot of care into making it a special place for guests. Our staycation here was everything we hoped for, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

The house is beautifully decorated. There's a lovely piano, the pool is solar heated and clean, there are hammocks, and the adobe keeps the home naturally cool and quiet. There are great views of the mountains and the city. There is a little market and a big park nearby. The park has a library for kids and an area with toys. There is also a small hotel next door with a fantastic restaurant called Entre Sombras. The staff at the house is helpful and friendly, but they also respect your space. And Marilee is quick to respond. We all enjoyed our time in this tucked away paradise.

We loved the house, the patio, garden, the view, the location, everything. We heartily recommend it. In the course of a 6 week stay, there were a couple of moments when we needed some things repaired and it was done very quickly, cheerfully and competently.

Casa de Lu is everything you imagine when you think of Oaxaca—spacious, beautifully designed, tastefully decorated, and impeccably clean. The home is well-stocked with everything you might need, and while it does get warm (it is Oaxaca, after all), the provided fans keep it comfortable. Lu was responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. But the true heart of Casa de Lu—and the reason I would absolutely return—is Doña Caro. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. Not only did she help us with everything we needed (and I do mean everything), but her meals were delicious, authentic, and prepared with so much love—they truly made us feel at home. We were in town for a wedding and accidentally left our dresses behind at the house. Without hesitation, Doña Caro personally delivered them to us—40 minutes away—saving the day! We joked about taking her home with us (joking not joking 😂)! We loved our stay and made a new friend. Thanks Lu and Dona Caro!
