House vacation rentals in Oaxaca, Centro

The house is beautiful! It has a very nice Oaxacan style. It is comfortable, clean, very well located and perfect for 8 people, the bathrooms are clean and modern. The pool is comfortable for a few drinks and at a very good temperature. Perfectly equipped! Would definitely book another time

Our host was very flexible during check in and the amenities were ideal for our family vacation where we had a rental car, and a couple of homemade breakfasts days. The home is very welcoming as well and has a big table that fit the six of us.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Nova. The place is gorgeous. I really appreciated the daily cleaning service. We ran into the cleaner a few times and she was so nice and pleasant. The whole house and outdoors were impeccably clean. the house is on a busy road but the front wall and the positioning of the bedrooms at the back of the house made it so you couldn't hear it at night. I would stay here again.

Great stay. Responsive and proactive hosts who helped us with recommendations, taxi, and has some essentials in the kitchen/fridge when we arrived. Place was clean and private. Well located for walking in the historic center. If there was a down side it was the road noise in some of the bedrooms…. But that is to be expected since you are in the in the middle of the action pretty much. The courtyard pool area was peaceful for sure. Thanks for a great stay!

What a lovey spot for our family to gather and have a home base as we explored Oaxaca. It was perfect for us and we loved our time there. Mariana was helpful in her recommendations and there was never a need to contact her during our stay as the home provided everything we needed. It was also so very nice to have Raquel to clean for us and Efrain to manage the pool and outdoor spaces. We highly recommend this spot for travel to Oaxaca.

We loved our stay in Oaxaca!! Created great memories with friends and Damian's place is so unique and exactly what we were looking for. Drinks on the rooftop, breakfast in the outdoor kitchen, yet still private bedrooms for sleeping. It may "look" outside of Centro on a map, but it is literally a 5-10 minute easy walk to everything. We only used a vehicle to get back to the airport! Walked everywhere else!

Anastasia's house was spectacular. So many beautiful details, and an AMAZING outside roof terrace. My favorite thing was sitting out there admiring all the plants and the view. The house is walking distance to all the restaurants/cafes/markets. The nice showers and air conditioning was a plus. It was just me and my boyfriend but this house is certainly big enough for a family or extra guests. Could not recommend this airbnb enough!

Very nice apartment, as shown in the photos, very well located, many cafes in the surrounding streets, the bed is very comfortable to sleep in. Very central, we quickly reached downtown. My pets were able to be with us. There is parking, you just have to coordinate with the other tenants.

Casa Étnica was easily one of our favorite AirBnB experiences we’ve ever had. Liliana was communicative with us from the start, and gave us great recommendations on what we could do, and arranged a taxi for us to pick us up from the airport. We were greeted with an incredibly warm welcome, including mezcal and the best tamales we’ve ever had. Everything about the house was beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtful. Liliana had thought of everything, and had successfully prepared for anything that might come up. It’s rare to have a host so involved and so clearly care. Liliana and Casa Étnica both exceeded our expectations in every way, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Oaxaca.

What to say, other than Gabriela's home is the perfect place to experience everything that Oaxaca has to offer! Whether walking to multitudes of fabulous restaurants and coffee shops or spending time on the rooftop deck while the stress of everyday life simply disappears ... Gabriela's home is an oasis. We loved Oaxaca and we loved Gabriela's home!

It’s a great place central to everything

Beautiful home with great indoor/outdoor living. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, great location for walking to shops, restaurants, and Oaxaca attractions. A bit loud at times. It was not the fault of the Airbnb, but one evening a nearby alarm sounded from 2am til 9am and it was horribly loud. Because of the open roof, sound seemed to travel right in. Cleaning services were great. Beware that there is a neighborhood cat who likes to stop by and there were lizards on the ceilings most evenings. Wonderful, friendly accommodating hosts. Really loved this beautiful home and the courtyard atrium.

We had a wonderful stay in Phillipe’s home and are so grateful we found it! We were a family of 5 with 3 young children and found it clean, comfortable, and very well located. We walked most places but also found it very easy to get a Didi pickup. We would absolutely stay again and can’t wait to come back!

Excellent stay @ Alexandro's!! The place was in pristine condition. The street is very private. At the end of a one way street. Alexandro and co- hosts gave local food recommendations (Mustard Seed) which was delicious! The property and area was very private and quiet, which I loved. The bed was super comfortable. Iris was there daily for anything I needed. She was very welcoming, friendly, and down to earth. She was always working! I love Iris!!! Overall, great stay and would definitely recommend.

Ximena's place felt like staying at a friend's beloved home.There's a relaxed, comfy vibe, as shown in the photos, but actually being there, is hard to find words for. It's just very special. Both my friend and I cherished our time there. Some words of advice, pack in your favorite foods, coffee, granola, there's only a small bodega down the road, and frankly once you've landed, you won't wanna leave. The first night Jhonny gave us the name of a wonderful local woman who on relatively short notice prepared us a lovely, healthy meal. Or, venture out to the small restaurant in the village. We ate delicious quesadillas made with fresh tortillas. On hikes, we were told to carry a stick to deter dogs. We never used them but good advice for anyone walking on country roads in Mexico. The dogs we saw were sun sleeping in the middle of the roads. Like I said, it's a good relaxing spot. We loved using the washing machine and hanging our clothes out to dry. We got emotional leaving.

Our family of 6 had an incredible stay, everything was thoughtfully and beautifully done. Only wish we had more time to be there! The roof top deck was stunning in the mornings for coffee, the living room was cozy, all the bathrooms were perfectly stocked and the beds and linens were amazing. Highly recommend! Such a beautiful home.

We had a bit of trouble at the start: we were given the wrong code to get in and an a/c unit was not working well. But Lili was very responsive and made sure that we were taken care of (even getting an a/c person out on a Sunday morning and overseeing the repairs). Otherwise, our stay was great. The house is much nicer, and bigger than the photos indicate. There are large areas (upstairs landing/office, courtyard) that we were not expecting, plus an extra half bath downstairs. The location was nice: walking distance to nearly everything we did in town, but a block or two out of the way from the heavily walked tourist and commercial areas. It was hot the week we were in Oaxaca, but the house stayed cool with the fans and the bedrooms (with a/cs) were a welcome refuge during the hottest part of each day. The two rooftop patios were beautiful spaces for morning use. Lili also hooked us up with a fantastic personal driver, Ana, for out of town excursions.

My husband, daughter and I really enjoyed our four night stay at Andres' house. We loved relaxing on the terrace in the evening and appreciated the whole indoor/outdoor feel of the place. Comfy bed and pillows. It was a great location for us, and it was nice to end up there after walking all over the city during the day. An awesome coffeeshop is around the corner as well. Andres was friendly and attentive, including when we told him about a broken shower head: he offered to replace it asap. We chose to all just use the other shower, which had great pressure and temperature. The outdoor mural and plants made the space extra cozy. A fun stay!

The place was huge! There are two living rooms and dinning rooms it was so big and there are two whole bathrooms and one half bath. Beautiful home in a great location and overall pretty quiet. It’s right next to a hotel and the staff at the hotel can help you get into the house so checking in was super easy especially since we got in very late at night. Overall loved this place and would go back.

Our group really enjoyed the house! It is extremely walkable to tons of restaurants and other spots. For those reading the reviews about the noise around the house - we stayed over a weekend and could hear some of the music from the neighboring restaurant, but it stopped fairly early and did not bother us. I'm a light sleeper and was able to sleep perfectly! Beautiful outdoor spaces to spend time. AC units worked well. A great place to stay as a group!
