Barrio de Santo Tomás Xochimilco, known as Xochimilco, was founded in 1486 by mexicas soldiers, it´s name means "place of flowers" since it is located on the skirts of Cerro del Fortin where azucenas (traditional local flower) grew in bunches. This is a colonial and traditional place. Walking along it´s streets is a pleasure and walking to the zocalo from here, a 15 to 20 min. will take you to many places of interest, for those who enjoy nature, cerro del fortin is 5 min. away from the house.

I Love Jalatlaco - Cozy Hideaway

The property is located in Jalatlaco, one of the safest and most calm neighborhoods in Oaxaca. The bungalow has its own bathroom, a queen size bed, ceiling fan and air conditioning as well as a small kitchenete. The room is separate of the main house by the patio and garden. I live in the main house with my daughter and my two dogs . In the property I also have other small room for rent, this is just for one person and it is located in the same patio area.

Private room, Loft, with mezanine for rent located only 3 blocks from the Zocalo. It has 2 double bed.. Good wifi. Well equiped kitchen and natural light. It has access to a beautiful patio of the Hostal Luz de Luna. We are located in the heart of Oaxaca, on a busy street, the apartmen can be a little noisy when there is lots of traffic BUT we just installed a double cristal door to disminish the noise.
