This beautiful thoughtful estancia is in a perfect location in Oaxaca - close to all the sights but quiet enough away from central. The host prepared a traditional breakfast every morning and was available to help coordinate all the sights we wanted to see. We had our two small Chihuahuas with us and they were warmly welcomed. We will return again!

Everything about this place is lovely, especially the staff! They're so kind, generous, and will do whatever they can to help you during your stay. The place is STUNNING especially the yard, and the breakfast included every day is freshly cooked, which was an incredible part of my stay (the folks who cook are incredible and so nice!). I would stay here again in a heartbeat

We had an incredible stay at La Betulia!! It's located in a perfect, quiet location, and we could walk to anywhere in El Centro. The breakfast prepared for us every morning was delicious and fresh. Next time we come to Oaxaca we'll absolutely be staying here again!

Enjoyed my time here, the hosts were very kind and accommodating. The home is in the lovely neighborhood of Xochimilco and just a 15-20 min walk from Centro. Very comfortable and peaceful room.

Lorena was a warm and gracious host. I was not feeling well and she came right over to make me some rice and tea. Her home is lovely - spacious, beautifully appointed with lovely garden areas. The area was walkable to most all of “downtown” and off the main drags so that it was very quiet. She provides beautiful, hearty, homemade breakfasts and made us feel so at home. Thanks, Lorena.

Megan has created a safe, tranquil and chic environment for women to stay in and enjoy their time in the heart of Oaxaca. I really enjoyed the serene vibe of the decor, and loved the location as solera is in the middle of the historic centre with everything in very easy walking distance. Megan also gave me great local recommendations and was responsive to requests and queries. I’ll stay here again next time I’m in the city. Muy bien y viva La mujer!

I cannot say enough positive things about this place and the host family. Comfortable bed, plenty of space, delicious breakfasts, great cozy space close to everything you need but still feeling secluded in the courtyard. It’s a great stay. And the kindest host family who treat you like family. I cannot wait to come back.

Lovely place to stay!

This bed and breakfast is welcoming, beautiful and relaxing. Staff is wonderful and breakfast consistently delicious. Staff was helpful answering questions or getting taxi scheduled. Delightful place, highly recommend!

Very satisfied with our stay here. Fridas mum was an amazing host and check in was a breeze. Convenient location close to restaurants in the city center, but just far away enough to be in a quiet neighbourhood. Breakfasts were delicious! There are a limited number of guests so you feel like you have the amazing building and central courtyard to yourselves. Thanks you Frida and team!

The place is a little outside in a quiet neighborhood. But it is also easily accessible on foot (about 45 minutes). The accommodation was clean and cozy. Arturo and Teresa were incredibly hospitable and helpful. We were cooked every morning with a delicious breakfast. On the day of departure, Teresa drove us to the train station. Two enchanting people. Thanks for a great stay. We felt very comfortable.

We very much enjoyed our week long stay here. La Betulia is beautiful, quiet and comfortable with amazing fresh breakfasts, cooked to order every morning! And we loved the communal table, meeting other guests from all over the world. We all lingered there trading stories of our activities and shared recommendations of what to see. The room is simple but has what’s needed and a good hot shower. It is cleaned daily with towels etc refreshed as needed. Daniel was our host and was great company too, warm and funny with good tips. We highly recommend this Airbnb!

excellent place to rest

Very good place to stay if you go as a couple, it has everything you need for a good rest and bath, even if it is shared there is no inconvenience, Mrs. Lupita's attention is excellent, very attentive. If you ask, you can make breakfast at an extra cost, it gives you good recommendations and has very good talk. He took the attention to making us a tea after we abuse the tastings of the rich Oaxaqueña gastronomy haha!

I had a good time. Samuel is a very kind person we became friends, ate tacos. really helped Me with everything I needed.

This place is outside of the major center and perfect for quiet time. It is in a town where you can walk amongst the locals. The property is gated and secure. She provides strong Wi-Fi. I only recommend you have a vehicle if you want to explore surrounding areas. However, if you prefer peace, a comfortable atmosphere, and private space you will surely enjoy. Host provides breakfast and does make arrangements for dinner at your request. She makes you feel welcomed and is easy to communicate with.

Great stay here for 3 days! Location is very convenient and all the staff were friendly and very responsive. It was fun staying right at the cafe too, and the room was clean and very nice!

We had a lovely stay at Casa Frida. It was a great location for us because it was a quick 7 minute walk to the main historic center of the city (with a nice uphill back to the house) but quiet and peaceful at night. The room was simple but clean. Breakfast was a great touch. Vert kind hosts!

We love staying here! It is our third time staying and every time its so lovely! Very central walking to everything and right across from a beautiful park. Miguel and his family are so friendly and great food! Can't wait to return.
