Small cottage with charm at Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk upwards from the parking lot. Here there is simple life without electricity and water. The road up is a nice trip, a bit heavy some lots. Recommend going upstairs before dark. Remember good shoes and warm cloths. At the top, the prize awaits, flat and nice with lovely views:) Bunk bed in kitchen, sofa bed in living room. The cabin is located by Tinnsjøen lake with parking right beside it. It is 6 kilometers from Mæl ferry rental in the direction of Atrå. It is 17 kilometres to Rjukan, 25 kilometres to Gaustatoppen mountain and beautiful mountain areas. Beautiful views, plenty of sun. There is no running water in the cabin, but water tap just outside. Free wood for the wood stove. When there's frost and freezing temperatures, there's no water in the tap outside. Water must be collected from the host. Rowing boat is available for free. Outboard motor 1-3 days NOK 400,-

The location in the middle between Bø and Notodden provides opportunities for trade and restaurants In the summertime it is possible to rent the canoe ( on sharing with my second cabin in the area) for NOK 350,- a day.

Bungalow from 1860 that has been refurbished so that old meets new. Brand new bathroom with large bathtub with lion feet where you can stretch out completely. Private shower if you'd rather use it. There is also a washer and dryer in the bathroom. Combined kitchen and living room with large wood stove which is great to gather around on a cold winter day. Two bedrooms with beds for a total of 5 pieces. There can also be an extra pair of guest beds and there is the possibility to sleep on the couch so there is room for many.

We are very happy with our stay in Bø. Very cozy house with a fantastic garden where big and small had a good time. A great place where it was easy to find tranquility, with a nice blueberry forest as the closest neighbor. Everything worked perfectly. Highly recommended.

Eva not say enough about this beautiful house. The location was picturesque and tranquil, we enjoyed sipping our nespresso looking at the view. There was more than enough space for two families, even though we were only three. We had a sauna every day and were lucky to have some snow. The beds were heavenly, we slept in every day. We did some skiing at Panorama Vradal right down the road. Kiki was super responsive in helping us figure things out. Her place is perfect for rest and relaxation. We will be back!!

I highly recommend Mette's place, it very spacious with everything you could want. Mette is generous, kind and always ready to help. The view from the balconies is outstanding. if you are walking, it is 20mins from the train station and 10mins is uphill. Also you are in the middle of a 3 story building, and sometimes you will hear people walking around upstairs. Neither of these worried us, I only mention this in passing. They in no detracted from our experience. 5 stars all round. Thank you Mette.

We rented the apartment from Lise in connection with the Sommarland cup on June 25. Lise responds quickly to messages and the apartment is centrally located in relation to shops. Clean and nice, lovely bed linen and towels, clean and new pillows and duvets. We would gladly rent the apartment again if we return to Bø!

Wonderful accommodation with stunning views. The house sits at the top of a hill and there are beautiful views from many of the windows. The house has many different areas to sit both inside and out. We enjoyed watching the boating activity in the fjords. Brevik is quaint and has 2 lovely ice-cream shops and a small beach. Perfect for a relaxing holiday!

The group of friends had an amazing weekend with lovely maie in Lunde. Rural and quiet surroundings with an old farmhouse with a lot of charm and flowering apple trees in the garden - real Telemarksidyll! Large bedrooms with plenty of space for many and good living spaces. Recommended! We gladly came back 😊
