We got exactly what we wanted: a user-friendly and cozy cabin in quiet and scenic surroundings. Mathias was a perfect host. He responded quickly and pleasantly to our inquiries, and we felt at home in his cabin from the first moment.

We stayed at Petter’s place for a family trip with 4 adults and a baby. It was a lovely and peaceful spot with some woodland walks nearby. It’s also only 15 minute drive to the coastal town of Holmestrand. They have a pig and two dogs and the farm adjacent has several horses. There is a lodger living downstairs who kept to herself. The house was clean and tidy and nicely decorated, as per the photos. We didn’t meet Petter but he had good communication and was flexible in allowing us to check out slightly later. Many thanks!

Great, lovingly furnished cottage in a quiet area. You immediately feel comfortable and Anne-Mette is a very attentive, well-prepared and uncomplicated hostess. She likes to give tips on activities and takes time for her guests. I 100% recommend this place!

We spent 3 nights in Mette's house. The cottage is super cozy with great views of the Telemark Canal. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place. No TV or WiFi. However, we did not miss that. Mette was super nice and was always available. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay! It was a great location to experience the tranquil countryside (especially in the snow! 🤩) Our children loved sledging etc and it felt like a home from home as well as being a 45min drive from Oslo. Lots of other places to explore from here too. The house is cosy and had everything we needed. The washing machine was very handy too! Thank you again for being such friendly hosts

The setting is breathtaking. We loved everything about our stay, from the friendliness of our hosts to the animals on the farm. The house is thoughtfully laid out and extremely comfortable. We loved the bed, the extra blankets for lounging on the sofa, the fantastic shower AND the soaking tub. This was the perfect place to decompress. I can see why Siri has so many repeat guests!

Really loved this cabin. Nicely decorated with an amazing heated pool which the kids loved. 5 minute walk to Nevlunghavn which has 2/3 restaurants and great cafe with ice cream. Very picturesque. 5 minute drive to Helgeroa The cabin is private and really done to a high standard. Bedrooms are nice, good kitchen with everything you’d need and great living room with a view to the sea. Large terrace and great area around the pool Inger was a really helpful and friendly host. Our flight was diverted to gardermoen and she researched the best way for us to travel back to the cabin. Would really recommend staying here. We had a great time!

Totally one of the best Airbnb experiences I have experienced. We felt welcomed like family. Kim was a gracious host and went out of his way to keep up comfortable and informed. Check-in was smooth and staying there felt immediately like home. The sights there in the summer was breathtaking to say the least. I would not hesitate to stay there again and fully encourage anyone in doubt to do so! Thank you again Kim for taking great care of us!

This is a home for those of you who value the genuine and the beauty and stillness of nature. The cottage is amazingly charming and everything necessary is there, even if it is easy. It is especially enjoyable to fall asleep to the cam in the fireplace. There is a fireplace in every room and in the living room a big and beautiful fireplace. The surroundings are very beautiful to hike in, but if you want to go cross-country skiing, you have to drive 15-45 minutes to find trails. In summary, we would highly recommend the accommodation and Caper, which is a very nice and helpful host.

The cottage was very cozy. The surroundings were peaceful with beautiful nature. We really enjoyed it. The host was very friendly and helpful. The cottage had everything we needed. We had a barbecue and went for a walk along the beautiful river. We highly recommend this little paradise.

Nice cabin with plenty of space

A great and traditional cabin with a very beautiful location. Everything you need with a practical space solution and a lovely view over the water. I was worried that my car was too low on the way in after the gate, but it was no problem. (Model 3) The cabin is cozy and nicely decorated! Just my taste for a Norwegian cabin! One has a full kitchen. The bathroom and toilet are separate so both can be used at the same time. There is a parking space for 2 maybe 3 cars right outside, but definitely more along the road. Oxana is very quick to respond and sent all the info in good time, very nice! I definitely recommend staying here for that price, if it's available. I was here in late spring without snow. Thank you very much for the loan! 😊
