The way up is a nice walk, a bit heavy in some parts. Recommended to go up before it gets dark. Remember to bring good shoes and warm clothes. Cabin in the middle of everything Telemark has to offer. The cabin is centrally located at Jønnbu (Lifjell), but at the same time by itself by a small lake. Great hiking areas with fishing waters, mountain peaks and marked hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Lifjellstua (restaurant) is located 150 m from the cabin. Bø Sommarland and Høyt&Lavt 8-9 km away.
