Cottage vacation rentals in Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands

The cottage was very clean with an absolutely beautiful view! Sauna was easy to use, hot tub was clean, bon fire by the water was awesome! The inside of the cottage was very spacious with lots of space and beautiful views of the water! Would recommend this place to families / couples looking to relax and spend some time by the water. Tobermory harbour was only about 10 minutes away and we went into town a few times for food / firewood. Highly recommend this cottage!

The place looked exactly like the photos and was a nice getaway if your looking for a cabin on the water. Was peaceful, enjoyable, and very very beautiful. Price is a little pricey but for what you get and the scenic views makes it worth it. Especially if you go as a group and divide up the costs. Would love to go back again sometime and would recommend this airbnb. Thanks again for hosting!

We all enjoyed our stay, had a wonderful time. Kitchen was well equipped. The only thing I can recommend is lighting the stairway so you can see your way down the stairs at night without having to use a flashlight. So maybe some LED's under the stairs.

We stayed here for three nights with my husband, our two young children and two dogs, and we fell in love with the house and the location. The view of the water from the cottage was absolutely stunning. We went during the off season, so things were quiet, which was just what we wanted. The grocery store was only a quick drive away, as well as Bruce National Park. Our kids are already asking to go back. We will definitely plan another trip here in the future!

Came in September, days were warm and evenings were cool. You need blankets if you want your windows open. Non motorized equipment was good, canoe, kayak, etc. were in good condition. Water is crystal clear. We took our dog and the area was very private so we did not need a leash. Lovely cottage for 6 adults with room to spare. Beautiful sunsets! I knew we would do lots of pasta and I brought my favorite pot. I didn't find a pasta pot as big as mine in the lake house, so if you are a family of pasta lovers, consider bringing a large pot and colander for BIG meals.

Thank you for a great space to retreat to for our family. The view was great. A fire place to roast marshmallows was a nice experience for my kids.

We had a wonderful stay at Valentina’s place! The house was spotless, including the bathrooms, and the location near the lake was perfect—peaceful, quiet, and ideal for a relaxing getaway. My family, our dog Buddy (a black Standard Poodle), and I truly enjoyed our time there. Valentina is an excellent host, providing clear and thoughtful instructions—like removing shoes indoors—which we also do at home, and it definitely contributes to how clean everything is. The firewood sauna was a great experience. Although the hot tub jets weren’t working during our stay, but it was also pleasent in the chilly evenings Overall, it was a fantastic stay !

The house is a bit old, but overall very cozy and comfortable. We especially loved the outdoor fire pit—such a nice surprise to find that the host had already prepared firewood for us, which made our stay even more enjoyable! The location is fantastic, especially if you're planning a trip to Flowerpot Island—it's very close. It's also right next to Singing Sands Beach, which is super convenient. The host was very friendly and responsive, always happy to answer any questions we had. We really appreciated the hospitality!

We had a lovelytwo night stay at Carolyn's place. It was so peaceful and set in the most beautiful surroundings looking over the lake. Carolyn and Daryl were so welcoming and friendly and left us some delicious cakes that were very welcome after a long drive to get to Kilarney. They were incredibly helpful too when we had an issue with our car. Carolyn gave us some good recommendations for walks and we'd definitely recommend the 5 mile walk to The Crack. Really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic cottage and place to stay. It was immaculate and beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had everything you needed. The location was peaceful, with a great sunset view and incredibly quiet! Christa was very responsive, friendly, and helpful, but also just let us have our space to enjoy. We were so thankful for the time we had there.

Steph and Al’s place is exactly what Airbnb should be: a welcoming home away from home. The setting is gorgeous, mattresses and pillows were excellent, kitchen was well stocked, and our hosts were helpful, kind, and responsive. This is our favourite Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. We loved our stay! Very comfortable, beautiful location, phenomenal views. The perfect home base for our adventures in Tobermory and hiking the Bruce trail and an amazing place to relax after a long hike. Harison and Connie were super responsive and amazing hosts.

Waking up to the view of the lake was such a treat! The bedrooms were cute, clean, and comfortable, and the yard was amazing—with a fire pit that overlooks the water. We really appreciated the kayaks and paddleboards available to guests at no extra cost, and the barbecue setup made for a great evening. The driveway can be a little tricky if you're parking a larger vehicle like a pickup truck, but it wasn’t a big issue. Overall, a fantastic stay—highly recommended!

We loved this space for our annual girls cottage weekend. It's right on the water, has a beautiful view, and is very clean and comfortable inside. Shauna was a great host and was very communicative. The parks pass was an extra bonus!

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful lakeside cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views of the lake and the serene atmosphere. The cottage is nestled perfectly on the shore, offering the perfect balance of privacy and access to nature. Inside, the cottage was spotless and incredibly well-appointed. Every amenity you could think of was provided – from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy beds. We loved the thoughtful touches like the Propane BBQ, and fire pit by the lake, which made our evenings magical. The living spaces were so comfortable, and the large windows let in tons of natural light, making us feel connected to the beautiful surroundings even when we were indoors. The location is perfect for a peaceful getaway, it was exactly what we needed to recharge. Overall, this cottage exceeded our expectations in every way. We can't wait to come back! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious retreat by the lake.

Very clean and spacious with a well-equipped kitchen. Furniture and beds were in great condition and the home tastefully decorated. Excellent view from the balcony. The location is superb, only a few minutes from downtown Tobermory. Recommended.

The place exceeded our expectations, the host was very friendly and always quick with responding. The cottage is super clean, contains all the necessary amenities and very clear instructions on how to use them. Very quiet and private location with beautiful backyard and access to the lake (be careful when descending to swim!). All in all, can't recommend the cottage highly enough - a perfect place to spend a few days to recharge. 5 out of 5!

We stayed here for 3 days and absolutely loved the place! It had everything we needed and even more. There were plenty of games we hadn’t expected, lots of thoughtful supplies, and a very cozy atmosphere. The beds were super comfortable, and the whole space was clean and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the kayaking,it helped us create so many great memories. The location was also perfect, with everything we needed nearby. Highly recommend this place! Would love to come back again.
