Vacation rentals with a kayak in North Ostrobothnia

Sinikka's place was incredible, we are so happy that we were able to stay there. The house felt very homey and we enjoyed the sauna very much! The location is perfect, away from the city center, with beautiful nature around and a bus stop to the city center or Santa's village 5 minutes away on foot. The frozen river is a few steps away, and we were able to go enjoy the aurora from there with little light pollution, what an unforgettable experience! There is a groceries shop nearby too. Sinikka was extremely helpful and reactive by message. I will recommend this place and host to anyone who wants to stay for a few days in Rovaniemi!

Juhas Villa is one of the best accommodations i‘ve been to during all my Journeys. It‘s located very beautiful and private near a huge lake. The Villa is spacious and equipped very well. It‘s 30 minutes from Ranua by car away. So it’s a good Place to visit for example the Ranua Wildlife Park. We also Went to Korouoma Canyon from Juhas Villa. It’s easy to get to the Villa by car, Even in Winter when the streets are a Little Snowy. We (5 people) have been there in March with a rentalcar. Juha is so friendly, Helpful and polite! He Went icefishing with us on the lake and offered us warm Drinks and Snacks. The best things of the Villa were the Sauna, the whirlpool and spotting the polarlights out of the livingroom. I can absolutely recommend Juhas Villa and I‘d love to come back, maybe in Summer next time! Everything was Perfect, thank you!

An excellent place for a commuter to unwind at the end of the working day. I was here for the second time and will continue to do so if I head this way. I also recommend it to holidaymakers.

The house is exceptional, beautiful and located right on the lake. The decor is natural, modern and with lots of wood; we felt very comfortable from the first moment. Note the very secluded location; the nearest shopping (supermarket) is about 15 minutes away by car. But with proper planning, that's not a problem either. We enjoyed the quiet idyllic location very much.

The place was very cozy, especially the fireplace provided a pleasant atmosphere. I really appreciated the quiet, secluded location – perfect for switching off and enjoying nature. The house was also very well equipped, especially the kitchen left nothing to be desired. Everything was clean and tidy, and communication with the host was straightforward. I can only recommend it!

We were very pleased with the cozy and tidy cottage and the beautiful and peaceful environment. From the sauna of the cottage, you could go straight to the pier and swim in the lake. The water was clear, the beach deepened quickly. When fishing with a rowboat, a handsome pike was caught 😊

Lovely cottage in nature, by the lake and with a private sandy beach. It was like a time travel for me to the 60s or 70s. It was like going to grandma's. The sauna's wood stove gave really good steam. We highly recommend this place.

The cottage is in a beautiful, quiet location, and it was easy to find based on the instructions provided by Sari. Check-in was also effortless. The cottage was well-equipped and matched the description. Plenty of space! Lovely, gentle steam in the sauna. I highly recommend this place if you want a peaceful time in the middle of nature ❤️

Staying with Alexandra was super nice. We felt very comfortable. Alex booked the husky ride for us, prepared the sauna and made a barbecue evening with us. The environment is perfect for spending quiet evenings and enjoying the tranquility away from the hustle and bustle. Staying at Alex's place is highly recommended! Always happy to come back!

Those who want their peace are absolutely in the right place here! A super nice and well-maintained accommodation with its own sauna right on a lake. There are two other small log cabins in the immediate vicinity, but you still feel undisturbed. Juho explained everything to us on our arrival, which is why the stay went smoothly overall. Would always book this place again and can absolutely recommend it! It is only important that there is no running water and no shower. However, you can easily pump the water yourself at a well and heat it in the sauna. We really enjoyed it very much!
