Our family stayed at one of the beautiful lodges, we were greeted by Steve, what a lovely man, he shew us how to use the amenities, and said if we needed anything , just to ask, he left us to enjoy our 2 night stay, swimming pool amazing, hot tub amazing, our lodge was amazing too, near to the broads where we enjoyed a boat trip, really was the best 2 days, we will be going back sometime in the future Natalie Devereux

While many Airbnb places overpromise and underdeliver, The Lodge is what Angela says, and more. It’s spacious, well-equipped, perfectly furnished, and clean. Angela and her husband, Derek, are great hosts, quick to answer questions (although everything is very clear from their notes), and hitting just the right balance between being available if needed, but not imposing. I have to visit the area at least a couple of times each year and I will definitely stay here again. If asked for anything that could be improved, the only thing I can think of is that for longer stays, a washer-dryer would be a very welcome addition! But that’s nitpicking. Everything was great, and thanks to Angela and Derek for a great stay.

We adored our stay in Kate’s cabin. It’s incredibly well located - just off Staithe Street (and its bars and shops) - but super quiet and peaceful. You’re 2mins walk from the harbourside. The bed was REALLY comfortable too. And please don’t be put off by any other reviews saying there’s a dog smell. There absolutely WASN’T when we were there. Perfect for a couple. We very much wish to go back.

Robyn was an amazing host and the cabin was a delight. A fresh loaf of bread waiting for us in the kitchen on arrival! We used the property as a base for the BSB weekend at Snetterton racecourse (only a 7 minute drive away), but there was also a river (5min walk) and a horse rescue centre just up the road that you drove through to get to the cabin. Wildlife was plentiful too. We’ll definitely be back to stay again

This was SUCH a great find. Lovely, spacious rooms; warm, helpful and accommodating staff and a great location for exploring Norfolk. I booked on the day and drove up with my partner and our dog (miniature dachshund) Noodle. We had a lovely day on the beach before checking in around 7. Given we booked last minute on a bank holiday we weren’t expecting much but we LOVED the room. The amenities were great (separate bath and shower, little shampoos etc, fresh fruit and all the usual tea and coffee stuff) and the room was lovely and spacious. There was loads of room for Noodle’s travel crate so he felt safe and comfortable too. The staff were super friendly and we had a very warm welcome. This was especially the case at breakfast. My partner and I are both vegan which can be tricky. We felt very looked after and appreciated the effort that was made to accommodate us. Especially as it was all done with a smile. I was also very touched when the lady serving us mentioned they usually make a sausage for dogs, but wanted to check if I was comfortable with that. Noodle does eat meat and was delighted with his second breakfast! Overall I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The three of us had a great stay and hope to return :)

Lovely, attentive host. The lodge is a short walk away from the local shop and pub which has a restaurant inside and music on the weekend. Plenty to do in the area. Perfect for a weekend away.

This place was perfect. Very clean, Great hospitality and especially Amazing breakfast. Enjoyed our stay, would recommend it to anyone on Airbnb.

This place is absolutely fantastic—a real hidden gem! I brought my two boys, aged 16 and 14, and they had a great time. They spent most of the weekend enjoying the pool and hot tub, which were definite highlights. The accommodation was spotless and very well-equipped with everything we needed. We opted for takeaways both evenings, which worked out perfectly. The location is also really convenient, with the beach just a 30-minute drive away in Yarmouth. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be to add a sofa bed in the living room for a bit of extra flexibility. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!

We had a lovely stay. Dulce and Joe were super friendly and gave us a great recommendation about the fantastic Out There Arts festival in Great Yarmouth, which was wonderful.

Perfect stay. Ocean Blue is a modern, spotlessly clean and well equipped studio, ideal for our weekend with the dog. Spacious parking, cleanliness, quality towels and bedding, well equipped kitchenette, enclosed and secure courtyard were a few of the highlights for us. The studio is set back from the road enough for a peaceful time. 10-15 minute walk to the beach and pub was ok for us, there's plenty of parking on the roads near the beach access if needed. Thank you for providing a perfect base for a great weekend 😎

Kelly is a super host - she had everything ready for when we arrived. She was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Her holiday home is just lovely and was perfect for our short stay - we visited the local area which is beautiful.

Comfortable, Ross was very responsive and thoughtful bringing an extra fan as we arrived during the hottest days of the year. A little difficult to initially find but we managed.

A lovely weekend stay. This little place had everything you need. It is currently undergoing some work outside so we didn’t make use of the outside area but inside the property it was lovely, well equipped with the basics. The bath was a nice little addition especially when you have children as after a long day exploring. The skylight was great if no one is using the room to sleep in but when sofa bed was in use it really impacted sleep. Being summer months my daughter struggled to get off to sleep and then was up extreemly early with the sunrise. The sofa bed was ok for our 3 year old but I’d say it’s not good enough for an adult or teen. This is something that could easily be resolved with a new mattress or topper. Overall we had a fantastic time for Father’s Day and our daughter loved it! Great little location, felt very safe. Glenn was very responsive and willing to help. We would happily book again and recommend to friends.

What can I say, this lodge was amazing and definitely the best accommodation I have stayed in and been using holiday cottages for over 30 years. Spotlessly clean, lovely decoration, loads of thoughtful touches (including whisky, home made marmalade, bread, milk and cereals). My wife enjoyed the coffees. Amazing hosts 10/10. Loved sitting out on patio and everywhere was just so peaceful and silent. The king size bed is so comfy and importantly to me, extremely clean and what you would expect in an expensive hotel. Why is not all holiday accommodation like this? Lodge is walkable distance to town and local pubs. Stayed 2 nights, but wish it could have been more. We have only been back a day and recommended to four people already. On a separate note, Bury St Edmunds is lovely and must also include Lavenham village. Thanks for everything. 10/10

Fantastic place. It is in a beautiful, peaceful setting and the property is newly decorated and stylish. We hope to visit again and would highly recommend Jenny’s place.

Relaxing week in a beautiful area, which is a great base for exploring North Norfolk, with three local estates and pub within walking distance, allowing for a couple of car free days. Lodge had everything we needed. Karen and Simon live adjacent and were hospitable but allowed privacy.

A huge thank you to Catherine and Dan, we had a super stay for the weekend. Beautiful location, peaceful and stunning views. Communication from the point of booking was quick and friendly. The barn at Primrose Farm was so easy to find thanks to Catherine’s instructions. Warm and welcoming hosts, who couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome and our two dogs had a lovely time roaming the garden and fields behind. Thank you both so much, we will be back! Lovely comfortable house in peaceful surroundings. Easy walking distance to Holt town centre with lots of shops and places to eat. A very relaxing two day break and would definitely book again if we came back to Holt. Julie was lovely, very friendly and helpful and replied extremely quickly to any queries.

Fantastic location for exploring Norfolk! Was made to feel very welcome by Deborah and Mark and the cottage was a home away from home. The cottage was spotless and had everything you could need in it from the fluffy towels to a very comfy bed. The welcome treat of tea, milk and biscuits also went down a treat! Thank you for a lovely stay and will definitely recommend The Swallows!

Neil and Sally’s place was perfect for our weekend away from the city. The welcome basket of goodies was such a lovely touch and made us feel right at home straight away. Great communication ahead of arrival and great recommendations of the surrounding areas. We absolutely loved our stay!

We had a lovely couple of days in Histon! Our accommodation was cosy, clean and in a great location. Beck was a thoughtful and friendly host, who ensured our stay was comfortable - especially as it was during one of the hottest days of the year so far! A highly recommended destination by us.

Kirsty`s annexe is a perfect place to stay when you visit Walsham Le Willows. Her place is very clean. Her bathroom is spotless clean, and I am really fussy. The beds are perfect. Kirsty has a well-assorted kitchen. It is our second time we stay in Kirsty`s annexe and we`ll definetly be back next time we visit Walsham Le Willows.
