Stunning location, responsive host, great set up for our family getaway

We had a really enjoyable stay at Holly's airbnb. the place was as described, in fact there was more in the kitchen than we had anticipated which was great. As a group of 8 (made up of couples and friends) there was loads to keep us occupied with the games room and to our surprise, there was a cupboard full of other board games. The garden is totally secure which is great as we have a dog so we didn't have to worry about them roaming outside and Holly had provided maps and directions for local walks which made taking him for a walk much easier. We had trouble getting the hot tub to a suitable temperature and Holly was on hand to help us resolve quickly. All in all, a great stay and we all had a lovely time!

Just returned from this break away, and i will definitely be returning! The place was spacious and clean. Bed and sofa was very comfortable. The facilities were good. Secure for the dog on the decking too. Beautiful area. Host was informative. Cannot fault anything.

Clean. Comfortable. Great location. Lynette was extremely responsive, friendly & helpful. It was ideal for 6 adults. Amenities were reached by foot shops, cafes etc. Lynette went that extra mile with a lovely Welcome gift! The hot tub was clean & we enjoyed using it. Would definently recommend & would like to visit again. 😊 Thank you 👍

Fantastic Host and Venue. Always happy to help with any requests and even decorated the house to celebrate the Birthday Girls. High recommend going to the local Fox and Hound Pub for food, its literally a 30 second walk away. Will definitely be heading back here again for a nice relaxing break!!

Beautifully presented. Well equipped. Flexible for people with dogs, loads of space for them to move around. Yet it was very clean throughout and all bedrooms comfortable and cosy. Garden was perfect. Children’s area, hot tub, BBQ and importantly for us, peace and quiet. The views are outstanding and I would certainly recommend and come back. Thank you for having us

We had a wonderful stay and the house was beautiful and tastefully furnished. The garden was great for our dog too. Would definitely recommend! It was half an hour drive to the coast but was nearby some quaint towns, which are all well worth a visit!

We had such a great family holiday at the cottage. There was plenty of space for 10 of us, with everything we needed, and the gas bbq was a bonus. It's in a great location within a short walking distance to the centre of Holt, with lots of nice places to eat and shop. It's also easy enough to drive to the beaches along the coast. We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We especially loved having a BBQ, soaking in the hot tub, and taking in the stunning view of the water. Lovely barn conversion with lots of space and great facilities. Plenty of parking available.

We had a wonderful stay at Ivor’s place! The house was spotlessly clean, really well equipped and had everything we needed and more. Sofas and beds comfortable, garden lovely and secure. There was really helpful information from Ivor about everything in the house and the surrounding area. My favourite thing was being so close to the beach that you could hear the sea waves from the garden. Thankyou Ivor - we would very happily stay again and hopefully will one day!

Stayed here with my partners family for the weekend, we had such a lovely time. We made good use of the pool table and the football table. It was very spacious with 7 of us and 2 little dogs. Would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at Gary’s lodge! The place was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family. The kids absolutely loved the pool. Gary was a great host, very welcoming and responsive. We’d happily stay again. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay here with our family, it had everything we needed, pleasantly warm and the hosts were very helpful going out of their way to help us before they left for the evening.

Amazing lodge, very clean and had all the amenities needed. We stayed for 1 night for my husband’s birthday and the little touches were lovely. A bottle of prosecco and orange juice plus milk in the fridge, toiletries in the bathroom and robes for the hot tub! The hot tub was so nice, especially sitting inside and taking in the views! Lovely place to stay for a few nights. Peaceful and very private which was a nice change from being in a crowded town. Suzanne welcomed us as we arrived and showed us around. Would 100% recommend and definitely would stay again!

We had a really lovely stay. The cabin is really spacious and in great clean condition. Location feels very private even though you can see them moving about they make sure to respect your space. We loved seeing the horses and goats when we woke up. The garden was really enclosed and safe for our little doggy. Icing on the cake was the homemade jam and butter in the fridge, absolutely delicious. I recommend the rhubarb chilli and ginger. Hot tub was kept warm for us nicely, although we had such hot days that it wasn't used as much as we normally would. Would 100% recommend.

A wonderfully cosy place where we were able to truly unwind. The fully enclosed garden was perfect for sunbathing and enjoying the peaceful sounds of birds and nature. The house itself is comfortable, well-appointed, and has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The jacuzzi was an absolute treat – a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. We really appreciated the attention to detail, and felt right at home.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My family and I had the most amazing time at the Malibu Lake House! The location was superb, and the views of the lake were absolutely breathtaking. Every morning, we woke up to the serene beauty of the lake right outside our window—truly a sight to behold. Helen, our host, was incredibly helpful and always responded quickly to provide any information or assistance we needed. Her attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. This place is genuinely special and one of a kind. We loved it so much that we've already booked to go again in August. The Malibu Lake House provided a perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to return for another fantastic stay. Thank you, Helen, for making our stay so memorable!

Stay was lovely was very relaxing the hot tub was amazing and I enjoyed it very much the cabin was very clean and wonderful to stay in 10/10 :)
