The Ulafosses are 5 minutes walk from the cabin and you hear the rush from the Ulafosses from the porch. The cabin is a perfect starting point for mountain trips in Rondane National Park, and several of Rondanes 2000 meters peaks. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Water must be carried in and there is outhouse. The cabin has electricity, and there are car roads throughout the year.

The area is an excellent starting point for day trips to Besseggen, Glittertind, Besshø or Rasletind, among others. From the cabin, there are trails and ski tracks leading into the mountains. In winter you must ski or arrange for a snowmobile for the last three kilometers up to the cabin.
