Charming log cabin with stunning views of both Rondane and Jotunheimen 20 min from Otta. Here you can enjoy peaceful days with spectacular nature just outside the door. The Ulafosses are 5 minutes walk from the cabin and you hear the rush from the Ulafosses from the porch. The cabin is a perfect starting point for mountain trips in Rondane National Park, and several of Rondanes 2000 meters peaks. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Water must be carried in and there is outhouse. The cabin has electricity, and there are car roads throughout the year.

Kårstua at Viken Fjellgård, right next to fishing lake

An hour's drive from Lillehammer, Viken Fjellgård is idyllically located by the lake Espedalsvatnet. With us, our guests can use our two boats, and canoe freely, or enjoy themselves on the pier with swimming, fishing, fire pan and food. You can go on a mountain hike right from the farm, stroll in the forest, or walk on the trails around the water. In late summer and autumn it is nice to pick mushrooms and berries. It is a 5 min drive to the high mountains, and it is only 45 min drive to Jotunheimvegen and Jotunheimen's beautiful surrounding area.

Welcome to Rondane Mountain Bridge

Welcome to Rondane National Park! The cabin is 2 km from Mysusæter, and 2 km from Spranget (the national park starts here). The cabin is located on top of the Rondane mountain plateau with the possibility of both short and long walks. For example, you can walk up to the top Ranglarhø right behind the cabin and get lovely views, walk down to Bridal Damage, or you can walk or bike from the Leap into Rondvassbu and plan your top trip from there. Fully take a hike as a day trip from our cabin and the option to rent a bike on the run.

In the summer there are sheep and cows graze in the area. Good hiking opportunities in the woods and on nearby mountains, as well as good starting point for trips to Rondane or Jotunheimen.

Welcome to a private and pet-friendly mountain cabin, 980 MASL, just one kilometer from the national park boundary. Here, you are surrounded by powerful landscapes. The cabin does not have running water. Stream water is available before frost. There is no indoor toilet, but there is an outdoor toilet in the outbuilding. From the cabin, there are trails and ski tracks leading into the mountains. In winter you must ski or arrange for a snowmobile for the last three kilometers up to the cabin.

Very quiet and quiet place close to the water where you can really relax and sleep well. Simple standard with wood burning stove, gas stove, bio toilet suitable for anyone who wants to live a bit simple. Very good starting point for hiking both on foot and with bike in the nearby area, Jotunheimen, Rondane etc. Includes bathing jetty and boat.
