New cabin with high standard in quiet surroundings. Located at the end of a cabin field with no through traffic, it's just as good for families as it is for the group of friends. There is a car road all the way to the cabin all year round, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for hiking in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountain areas. In winter there is a cross country trail right behind the cabin and you can go on an alpine ski right outside the cabin door and run to the ski resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. Mountain cabin next to Rondane National Park

Simple and charming mountain cabin located at the tree line, 1000 meters above sea level. It is only one kilometer from the national park, and it is five kilometers to walk to the Peer Gynt cabin. The cabin has neither running water nor electricity, but it has solar power, which is generally sufficient for charging phones and using lamps. Water is fetched from the stream behind the cabin. There is an outdoor toilet in the outbuilding next to the cabin. The cabin is heated with firewood.
