Our Scale

A wonderful holiday home with a swimming pool and large sun terrace. Where you will find a combination of old elements from the adjacent farmhouse with new elements like a new kitchen and bathroom. Air conditioning on the 1st floor, fan on the ground floor. The house is at the edge of the village of Alluy at the foot of the Morvan. You will experience the quiet countryside but also the coziness of the very nearby villages and harbors along the Canal de Nivernais.

This 'en pierres' built blacksmith's house with its adjacent forge breathes history. Around the house, you can enjoy a beautiful green garden, with wise trees and granite boulders. Quiet and freely located, where the two riches of the Morvan meet, water and forest. 50 meters from the Etang d'Yonne, which brings its water via a waterfall into the Yonne. On a private property of more than 3 ha, including our house and a small stable, the 35 m2 cottage is directly on the edge of a 700 m2 body of water and can accommodate up to 4 people. It consists of a shower room, an equipped kitchen, a living room, a bedroom with a queen size bed and a mezzanine with two 90 beds. You will have a huge garden area by the water and a wood stove for cooler evenings.

A wonderful stay at Château de Paraize: staying in the French countryside with beautiful views of the horses in the fields. The river Allier is within walking distance, enjoy beautiful nature, old towns, wine estates, markets with good food or flea markets.
