A vacation on the western side of the Morvan, in the region around Vézelay, Clamecy, and the Canal du Nivernais, offers a unique combination of nature, history, and tranquility, and is also ideal for a multi-purpose vacation. For example, start or end your trip with a stay in Dijon, Paris, or Lyon, and we will ensure a smooth transition to the countryside!

The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

The five - star Priory near Vézelay

Rated 5 stars, 270 m² house for 14 people, completely renovated, 2,000 m² enclosed garden with hot tub. 9 km from Vézelay, at the gates of the Morvan Regional Natural Park. It consists of 5 comfortable and spacious bedrooms, an equipped kitchen, a dining room, a double living room with air conditioning and a working fireplace, 4 bathrooms and a gym. Great for stays with family or friends. Weekend rental with possible departure on Sunday afternoon if the Priory is available.

Peaceful and quiet oasis in the Morvan

Beautiful rustic house, with 1 ha of land, a pond (very often dry), and many trees. 7 bedrooms, ideal for a small family or a group such as several families, or for wellness seminars (poor Wi-Fi and 4G connection). We no longer accept parties and birthdays for adults; it disturbs the neighborhood too much. A haven of calm and nature. Places for rejuvenation and creation, but also conducive to interaction. Respect for the quiet of the hamlet is required! Thank you

Ideal for walking or cycling, 15 km from Vézelay near the Morvan Park with its large lakes and Saint-Fargeau, Guedelon, Tannay vineyard. 7 km from Clamecy, medieval city, marina, all shops, bakery, grocery store 3 km away.

Hidden between maples and bamboos, the chestnut cottage is located right on the edge of a 700 m2 body of water. Private entrance, free adjoining parking, not overlooked by the rest of the estate which consists of 30,000 m2 of a small private stable, a small cottage and our home. Ideally located 5 minutes from Nevers and surrounded by 1500 ha of Amognes state forest directly accessible on foot. Calm and nature predominate in this preserved place out of time.
