Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Nicoya Peninsula

Beautiful and extremely private place, and also close to everything!... beautiful view. loved it, we hope to come back!

This home had beautiful views, a wonderful staff, and was a superb find for our family’s Christmas vacation. Santa Teresa is amazing and we had some of the best food on vacation ever! Our host , Brano was very responsive and our local helpers were amazing. There is a housekeeping staff on site, but they respect your privacy and keep watch over the property. They brought us extra towels when needed and were overall extremely respectful and helpful. For those traveling to this location, I strongly recommend either a car or ATVs as the home is located up a steep driveway. It is walkable (and there are 150 stairs to use instead) but to do this on a daily basis, you would have to be pretty fit and young. In addition, there are stairs from the driveway to get down to the house and these would not be appropriate for anyone with balance or stability issues. They were fine for us at 50 years old, but should be a consideration for anyone with walking or stability issues. We had a great time!

If you find yourself in Puntarenas and have a taste for history and true hospitality, Casa Fait is the place to go. The house itself is beautifully and carefully restored to it’s early 20th century splendour, which is completely surreal given today’s reality of the fisherman town. The hosts are beyond welcoming and shared a lot of stories, recommendations, anecdotes and wisdom. It has been a great experience on our journey through Costa Rica.

What a special place tucked away in Punta Islita, yet still a part of the larger hotel/resort amenities. Exceeded expectations. Perfect for 2 families joining up for a vacation, who need a kitchen, laundry and pool yet can still figure out some adult private time. Loved the proximity to the beach, pool and bar there. It's a 10 min walk on a walkway covered by trees for most of it- needed in the dry/hot season. It was super helpful to be connected with site manager/concierge, he and Nancy both helped with questions. We did a bunch of activities (saw monkeys with a guide right outside and surfed) and got to relax. Very worth the bumpy ride out. Have your 4x4 and your all set.

We had a fantastic stay! Jose was incredibly friendly and made our trip even more memorable with a fun, kid-friendly, professional horseback riding tour of his farm—it was definitely a highlight of the trip! The kids absolutely loved spending time in the pool and hot tub! Highly recommend this spot for families looking for a relaxing and welcoming getaway!

It truly is a little slice of heaven! Pictures don’t come close to doing it justice! We stayed 3 nights. It was easy to get to and close to the La Fortuna area. We can’t recommend pie in the sky enough! From check in to checkout it was wonderful!

I had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything I needed. The check-in process was smooth, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my stay. The location was perfect—close to town but still quiet and relaxing. Great stay- while it was rainy during our stay it was a great place to be at since we could walk right across the parking lot to get to the sloth tours! Super great location- also very close to the chocolate tour we did (6 mins away!) and loved the hot tub

El departamento es privado con una gran cocina y sala de estar, también cuenta con dos habitaciones, cada una con una cama king muy cómoda y perfecta para descansar. Se sintió como estar en casa lo que más nos gustó fue la zona de la piscina y el jacuzzi privados, es un lugar perfecto para descansar y relajarse cerca de todas las atracciones de la zona al igual que muy buenos restaurantes lo recomiendo a cualquiera que visite la zona de la Fortuna

Wow, where do we even begin! We were absolutely blown away by how responsive and attentive Daniel and his team were. They truly went above and beyond to make our first visit to Costa Rica an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, they made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Their recommendations were spot on—from activities to dining, everything exceeded our expectations. Their home was beautiful and in a perfect location, which made it easy to explore and relax at the same time. We also really appreciated the wide range of services they offered, which made everything run so smoothly and stress-free. A special shoutout to our tour guide, Adrian, who was incredible knowledgeable and made the entire experience both enjoyable and memorable. Adrian struck the perfect balance—friendly and personable, yet always professional. We couldn't have asked for a better guide! We can’t thank Daniel and his team enough. Highly recommended! Great place, location and team was very helpful. The house was well stocked and the mini-pool was a nice feature. We didn't have a car and restaurants and mini-markets were very walkable and convenient. I would definitely stay again.

Such a wonderful Airbnb! A quiet, secluded getaway that was less than 5 minutes from the heart of town, making it easy to go to restaurants and excursions. The gated community with the kind guards made us feel extra safe. The air conditioning was delightful after a day of adventuring. As well as endless places to relax outside and enjoy nature.

We loved this little oasis. It was so beautiful that we even did paid family photos in the yard. Amazing view of the volcano. Safe feeling with the gate and multiple locks. Great location. And we loved the bedroom setup with three kids. The master suite upstairs is so so cool.

Beautiful place! We could not have been happier with this cabin. Only thing I would say is make sure you turn right leaving here, because the road is difficult going the other way. It was very clean, safe, and a gorgeous location.

Ok el lugar y el anfitrión son perfectos el problema es que dice San Ramón y tal vez les pase como a mí nos lo imaginamos como cerca de san Ramón centro pero no! Literalmente es peñas blancas está como a 20 o 25 min de la fortuna entonces si piensan en algo como más cerca es complicado porque se dura más de 3 horas desde San José. Entonces para que lo tomen en cuenta pero vale totalmente la pena! La cabaña el río, todo genial la verdad

La cabaña es soñada, todo rodeado de naturaleza y paz. Todo bien cuidado, volveria a ir sin duda

Hands down the best place to stay in La Fortuna. David was very responsive and got me checked in right when I arrived. The cabin is GORGEOUS. It feels like it’s in the middle of the rain forest. The inside of the cabin was the cleanest Airbnb I may have ever stayed at. Truly spotless and didn’t have bugs which I have found to be impossible in Costa Rica. The bed was so comfortable and the view from the kitchen made me so happy in the morning. It even has a little patio area underneath the cabin. Wish I could have stayed longer!! I’d recommend staying here over staying at a fancy hotel. You feel immersed in Costa Rican nature while still feeling very comfortable. Honestly this place felt like a nice hotel but way better. It’s worth it.

This house is incredible. It’s in a great spot, feels very private and tucked into nature. It was perfectly clean and felt very new. Very good value for money. The driveway is quite steep, so our 2WD with poor power struggled a bit, but most cars would be fine. Would recommend this place to anyone traveling to the area.

We can’t thank Jonathon enough!!!! He was incredibly helpful. Very responsive. He helped arrange a few different excursions while we were in La Fontana and they were amazing. He also gave us some recommendations for restaurants which was extremely helpful because there are so many choices it was hard to know which ones were good and Soda restaurants (in Costa Rica means local authentic places) were they best !!! I highly recommend this place it’s secluded for privacy but close enough to go for a 10 walk and be right in the thick of everything. I would give him 10 stars if it were possible. 😀

My wife and I chose this unit for our honeymoon, the space was extremely beautiful and lush. The giant windows opening up into the La fortuna jungle was breathtaking. We spent every evening in the jacuzzi listening to the wildlife and sounds of La fortuna. Fernando had great recommendations and was very friendly. We’re looking forward to returning to this special place.

Este lugar es increíble, muy seguro, precioso, tranquilo, cómodo, lo recomiendo mucho. Vinimos en familia y a todos nos encantó. Todos fueron muy amables, Pablo siempre respondió muy rápido y nos ayudó con lo que solicitamos de manera muy efectiva. Este lugar es realmente mágico y tiene muy buena ubicación ( el camino para llegar es bueno, no es peligroso) volveremos sin duda!
