Really beautiful appartment in a very quiet environment. Jose was really friendly and always ready to help. We enjoyed the stay in Monteverde in this room. Would highly recommend Jose and this room if you want to stay some days in Monteverde!

Frederica's place is a great location in Pelada, very close to the beach and an easy walk to Guiones. It is a very nice apartment, comfortable and very clean. The only problem was that it is sort of hot at night and the ceiling fans are not very strong. There was a portable fan but it did not work. I should have tested it before it got too late, so that was my bad. I highly recommend this place for its location, comfort, space, and Frederica was very responsive. Just make sure to test the fan when you arrive.

Nos encantó la privacidad que ofrece el bungalow, con un perímetro completamente cerrado pero cerca de la piscina y el parqueo. La ubicación fue excelente ya que la playa está a unos 200 MTS, así como el Supermercado más cercano. Esto facilitó mucho nuestra estancia. El equipamiento de la unidad fue satisfactoria con todo lo necesario para cocinar.

We really loved this Airbnb. The small casita was very comfortable, had great views, friendly animals that came to say hello regularly and was close to lots of activities near the lake and town. The space felt clean, super safe, and homey. We will definitely book again, our favorite place near the lake so far!!

Beautiful garden and so very peaceful! Gerhard met us at the gate which was so helpful because it was not very easy to find plus it was dark so even harder. He was very informative about the area. Their dog Coco was so friendly and we enjoyed having her around.

Laurie and Barbara were excellent hosts, going over and above expectations at every turn. They were extremely helpful when our rental car had a flat tyre, driving out to find us on the main road to Tilaran. Laurie changed the tyre for us because the rental car didn't have the correct tools. Laurie and Barbara drove us to places and restaurants we would not have otherwise found. The views from the road above Lake Arenal are truly spectacular. The Casita is fairly close to many unique attractions. It is quite private and quiet, except for some men who were working on a building next door. The tastefully decorated Casita has a beautiful view of Lake Arenal from the back yard. It has an excellent washer and dryer, a comfortable king sized bed, a lovely bathroom and a comfy couch for watching TV. The kitchen had enough equipment for basic food preparation, which we appreciated. Any time of day it was great to spend time soaking up the sun and bird watching/listening. We saw/heard hummingbi

Just right for the 3 of us. Internet was better than expected! Cobano close by for atm, gas and food. Critters did visit, just use a flashlight at night when getting of bed but nothing serious. Its not fancy but its cute & perfect. The pool and patio have an unforgettable view, not to mention the monkeys! During a couple storms, the electricity went out but came back on after a while. Local people care about the condition of the dirt roads, but its a task due to rain just like all of CR. Only issue was with the springs in the mattress cause im used to a softer bed.We would most definitely use this place again! Thank you!

Uns hat die Unterkunft super gefallen. Bei Wind pfeift es ordentlich, aber als Segler fanden wir es lustig. Der Ausblick ist toll und die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Dulce war sehr hilfreich und hat uns den Eintritt in den Treetopia-Park organisiert. Hat alles prima geklappt. Vielen Dank

Apartamento súper nuevo, muy cómodo! Exactamente como las fotos! La cama súper cómoda nos sentimos como en casa! Disfrutamos mucho nuestra estadía y las recomendaciones de los lugares para pasear y para comer! Hay mucho que hacer! Les recomiendo playa Guiones y San Juanillo!

Enis and David were quick to respond to any questions we had, including trying to find the location in the dark and figuring out the gate! Thanks so much for an easy time. We also enjoyed the friendly cat that roamed about!

My stay at Maureen’s guesthouse was very comfortable at a great location, on a short drive from several beaches. Very quiet neighborhood, surrounded by beautiful gardens. High speed Internet and AC made this stay Very pleasant! Definitely will come back!

Loved this studio suite so close to playa grande! Host was very responsive and helpful when minor hiccups presented themselves. Looking forward to my next visit!

Place was a great find, it’s tucked away off the road under a canopy of trees and plants. Very quiet, surrounded by nature. Jason and Lesley were always responsive, and great hosts. Bed, pillows were very comfortable and the place had everything I needed. This is actually my 2nd time staying on this property (different studio unit) and I love it out here. Having some type of transport is helpful but tuktuk can also pick you up! I choose because of the privacy and quietness. Having the gate feels safe for a solo traveler

Our stay at Andrew’s place was wonderful! My daughter and I stayed for a month and created our own wellness retreat. This space was perfect for us. What stood out was the beautiful views and serene environment. We had privacy and amenities we needed were a close drive into town. We had a rental car which helped us get around. A car is a must. Andrew was a super host and very responsive when anything came up that we needed help with. Even when he was in Europe, he was quick to respond and help us resolve things. For instance when the fridge wasn’t working he had another one brought in asap and got a technician in to fix it. We often used the community pool which is a short drive away. There were a couple of times it was not cleaned when we went. On our last day at the pool we saw a group of monkeys passing through the trees around the pool. It was very cool. Our stay in CR and Andrew’s place has some beautiful memories for us. We would certainly consider going back!

We had a great time at this place. Very clean. Love the big windows and the monkeys showing up later in the day. Our hosts were very nice. Good communication.

We hadden een fijne overnachting! Eigenaren zijn heel vriendelijk en de plek is precies als op de foto’s. Alles netjes, schoon en opgeruimd. Ook zaten er een aantal leuke restaurants op loopafstand. Dank voor het fijne verblijf!

Everything was perfect. The family are great hosts and made us feel very welcome and were always happy to share information about the area. We came for dental work and were less than one mile away and there are several closer options as well. We will always stay here when we are in the area.

This space is perfect for one person. It’s close to the beach and a short tuk tuk away from the town. There are quite a few places to eat within walking distance. The pool is so lovely on a hot day. The hosts were very friendly and answered any questions I had quickly! I would definitely stay again.
