El lugar nos pareció encantador, muy aseado, justo como se indicaba en las fotos. La anfitriona nos recibió muy bien, las instalaciones limpias y hermosas. El apartamento tenía todas las comodidades que ocupábamos. Altamente recomendados. De nuestra parte muy agradecidos con la anfitriona y esperamos regresar en un futuro próximo.

This place is definitely better than we expected. It’s located directly in the middle of the jungle and it’s so charming and beautiful. The trails around the property were fun to walk and the pools are lovely. Also, we love the little animals all over the property would recommend this place to anybody looking for a wonderful stay

The place is awesome! It’s got a great vide, love the pool, and it’s a short walk to the beach. The room is super clean, and comfortable. The place has a great laid back vibe. Ryan is an awesome host! He’s a big surfer and has a bunch of surfboards to rent at a great rate. He also has a quad to rent too. He’s super responsive with anything I need. A lot of the people have come back year after year here. And I am definitely coming back next year! I couldn’t recommended enough.

We had a lovely stay at Javier's. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, which we especially appreciated after our long trip from California. Best thing for us was how close the beach was. It took us less than five minutes to walk to a stunningly gorgeous beach with the best body surfing waves we've ever caught. There were also some nice places to eat nearby and an easy jaunt to the water taxi's which take you to Tamarindo. Day trips are also very doable, with the Las Leonas waterfalls within a 1.5 hr drive and the Buena Vista adventure tours (zip lining, horseback, water slide) within 2.5 hrs. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place, Andres is a great host as well. It’s located in a small, quiet, and beautiful part of town. Located nearby is a cool pizza restaurant/treehouse and a small market. Within short driving distance are multiple beautiful beaches. The hotel itself was very clean and beautiful. The restaurant serves delicious food and cocktails. Andre’s was always attentive and had a smile. Wonderful place for those who want a beautiful and quiet getaway.

Tierra Magnifica We were so happy with our stay at this beautiful place. The staff is without question the best. Form the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. They greeted us at our car as we arrived, had delicious drinks waiting for us, and asked about our food allergies and preferences right away. I could go on forever about the wonderful people who run this boutique hotel. They were so friendly and accommodating, and we never felt like we were bothering anyone with questions or requests. They have stuff you can borrow to go to the beach, like an umbrella, chairs, a cooler, and towels. They cooked meals with our favorite ingredients and made all of my meals gluten and dairy free. Wow! This is the best food we had during our entire trip! The property of Tierra Magnifica itself is gorgeous. It sits on a hillside overlooking the lush jungle canopy and the ocean. We saw monkeys playing in the trees within 30 minutes of arriving. We were hoping to see them, and our wish came true! The property is very well maintained. The pool is super clean, the outdoor dining area is gorgeous, and they have lots of little spots to relax and enjoy the view. Our room was very romantic, with billowing white curtains on the 4-poster bed, a big shower with shutters that open to the outside, and a hammock on the deck. We also got a couple’s massage in the open-air yoga space. It was so relaxing to listen to the sounds of the jungle and enjoy a great massage. We were very pleasantly surprised by Tierra Magnifica. We felt totally taken care of, but it’s also very private. It really feels like you’re at a friend’s house. It’s the perfect balance. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Magnifique 4 jours à l’hôtel. Vous dormez dans une mini jungle et proche de la ville. Il y a la petite route pour les coucher de soleil à 10 min de marche. La plage Sámara est à 5 minutes en voiture. La douche est à l’extérieur, donc expérience intéressante. Il ne faut pas avoir trop peur des insectes. Wifi marche moyen à la maison, mais à la réception parfait. On se sentait dépaysé!

We spent a few nights at Ecocoon, and wow, what an unforgettable experience. Marina and Karl, the hosts, are incredibly kind and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home, just surrounded by pure nature, with monkeys, squirrels, and colorful birds all around. 🐒🦜 The place itself is truly unique. Everything is built creatively and with so much love. What they’ve managed to create here in just four years is honestly impressive. The vibe is peaceful, grounded, and full of thoughtful details. You can relax in the sauna, take a refreshing ice bath, or chill out in one of the many cozy spots. My personal favorite was the net under the swing, I could lie there for hours just listening to the jungle sounds. Our room was right next to the pool, super clean and spacious. The staff were really friendly, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals. Overall a place I would definitely would came back to!

Cannot say enough about our stay! Lovely property and hosts! The peaceful location was close to everything, but not smack in the middle so a quick walk to restaurants and the beach, though honestly the pools and onsite restaurant were just as amazing. We will be back!

The property is absolutely beautiful - the winding paths through the gardens, the really cool pool and lounge area, mango trees and howler monkeys. The food at the restaurant is outstanding- we ate there every morning. Yael was very helpful and made our visit fun and easy.

We had a great time at Zulu! Right in the middle of town and just a few steps from the beach, which was great for going to restaurants, supermarkets, bars and the perfect beach day. Staff was super friendly, helped us with recommendations nearby and tours. Fully recommend staying here, El Mercadito right next to the hotel had the nicest vibe, lots of greenery, live music and drinks and food were perfect. There’s also the cutest and most delicious bakery next to Zulu, that’s a must try! Thank you Zulu team for making our stay in Tamarindo so fun 🙂

Realmente mi esposa y yo disfrutamos este lugar. Ubicación perfecta para un gran descanso, la playa muy cerca y la piscina genial.

We loved Hotel Cantarana! It was the perfect spot to relax before our wedding in Playa Grande. Love the community and how walkable everything is. Loved the coffee shop, restaurant, and private path to the beach. Everyone was so friendly and helpful too. The bed was comfy! The pool was refreshing and very much needed. Really no complaints at all.

The Airbnb was amazing and very beautiful. It was in the middle of the forest and monkeys were all around us. It was very close to the beach. Thus it is a perfect stay for nature lovers! Thomas has been a great host who responds very quickly and was really helpful. I would recommend anyone to stay in this airbnb.

Beautiful place. Peaceful. Amazing staff. We loved our stay. Great juices, bowls and bar right next to the pool. Right in the middle of town with lots of restaurants and shops. 5 min walk to beach. What more could you want?

Loved staying here! Good place to stay if you want to be close to multiple attractions. Loved the little town it’s in! Got to experience many things specially loved watching the town play their soccer games across the street in the rain. Would definitely stay here again.

Excelente lugar, todo acorde que las fotos, sumamente acogedor y tranquilo. Cuenta con lo necesario para poder descansar y relajarse.

La estadía fue corta pero provechosa. El acceso es sencillo, muchos mini super y lugares de comida cercanos. El parqueo es pequeño. La piscina está bien, las habitaciones son como se ven en las fotografías. El servicio de internet bastante bien. Muy amables las personas que ayudan en el lugar. Ha sido un placer.

Todo muy lindo y aseado, solo que hacía falta la esponja para lavar platos, pero igual habían muchos supermercados cerca, se resolvió pronto
