Cottage vacation rentals in Newport

Great house for our girls weekend. Jamestown is so cute and we decided to eat out for the weekend but the kitchen was stocked if we’re to stay in. SteveO is a great host and great communicator. The hot tub was perfect. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

I loved this space so much. I felt at home and comfortable as a solo traveler and only wished for more time to enjoy and explore the area! ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Leann’s! The home was absolutely lovely—clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The amenities were just what I needed for a relaxing getaway. Leann was a great host, and we truly can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Tyler's home. It was exactly as the pictures showed, and the view was spectacular! We walked to several restaurants and it was a short 20 min drive to Newport. From the minute we pulled into the driveway, our family was highly impressed with the views from Kristen's home. We ended our 2023 summer with a bang. This beautiful home had everything you could ever need on vacation. We enjoyed the backyard with nightly fires. Our teen daughter rarely left the bunk house. We loved the fact that our own private beach was just a few steps away & the public beach was less than ten minutes away. The kids and adults enjoyed the beach trampoline. Kristen was delightful to deal with. She was a SUPER host. So many little details and extras she puts into her beach home. Already thinking of our next visit.

My husband and I booked Brady Cottage for a week at the end of May to take a break from our very hectic lives. The pastoral setting in quiet Little Compton was exactly what we needed. We enjoyed woodland hikes on conservation land, cooking at the cottage, Grey's Daily Grind in Westport (amazing baked goods!!) and the amazing Polled Hereford cows and calves behind the cottage. We had a few nice meals out in Tiverton. Check-in and check-out were seamless. The cottage was clean, cozy, charming and comfortable for us and our little dog.

Cute, quaint and quintessential New England cottage. A perfect place to rest, relax and unwind. A very quiet, private and peaceful retreat from the craziness of everyday life. Richard was extremely responsive and helpful for the few questions I had. I did not get the chance to meet him but maybe next time, I’ll certainly be back! If you love the proximity to the hustle and bustle of summer in Narragansett but prefer to be a few short minutes in the quieter bubble of Bonnet Shores, this is your place. 7am walks to the beach and 6pm wine on the patio for sunset. Pure heaven!

The cottage is located on the same property as three other rentals, a large house and two smaller once. Depending on how many of them are occupied, privacy can vary. During our stay the two smaller homes were rented as well. Unfortunately the backyard is not completely fenced, but there was on piece of fence that allowed us to block the one open spot, so our dogs didn’t run away. The cottage is big enough for two adults. The bathroom is fairly small, but is enough for a short stay. The living room and the kitchen are adjacent and are nice for cooking or spending time when you are not discovering Newport and the surrounding area. The location is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful and quiet spot after a long day of discovering Rhode Island, Martha Vineyard, Block Island and many other beautiful places.

Linlin was a wonderful host and we loved this adorable cottage. It was incredibly clean, while still being warm and welcoming for us (and our pup). It's a little farther from the water than we had anticipated, but it's a relatively short and private walk to a dock with kayaks and beautiful views. Highly recommend!

Stayed at Johnna’s cottage for my daughter’s URI graduation. I bought the property a year in advance and once o found out that her graduation was scheduled for Sat at 9am I contacted Johnna inquiring if I could cancel the second night even though the posting said that there was a two night minimum. Johnna immediately replied that there would be no issues with editing the reservation. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed for the night. There was a sign when we first walked in welcoming up and congratulating our graduate. What a great touch! I wish that I had found this property four years ago. Would 100% book again. The house is in a beautiful location, with water views from all rooms on the upper level, two decks, and the back lawn. The house was well-maintained and equipped. We were fortunate with a week of warm, sunny weather and especially enjoyed biking down peaceful coastal roads. Barbara and Jurgen

My family and I really enjoyed Taiji’s place. It was exactly as was described andTaiji took the time to be very communicative with me before and during our stay. I would definitely stay again!

Home and area were beautiful! Everything was well stocked for our month-long stay, and they even had a jar of dog treats that our pup was very grateful for. Loved that the home was right off of a beautiful run/bike bath too. Great restaurants close by and a yoga studio within walking distance. We had a great time, thank you!

Our stay in Narragansett was phenomenal and staying in The Cottage was a large part of that! The Cottage was super clean & neat! Everything looked so new & bright. It was very welcoming & relaxing to return to The Cottage after a day of wedding activities and/or sightseeing. Being at the end of the street, there was no traffic & it was very quiet. The landscaping was equally impressible! We really enjoyed watching the hummingbirds dart from flower to flower, along the bumble bees, and other birds. Marla was excellent with her proactive emails, which were very helpful. She is indeed a professional!

This is a sweet house in a great location. Comfortable and functional, with herons fishing all day in the pond across the road. Would love to come back in warm weather to take advantage of the screened in porch overlooking the marsh!

Really enjoyed this place able to exactly like the pictures perfect size for two couples. We enjoyed the seafood festival and going to visit the mansions in Newport would definitely recommend staying here. Owner was very responsive and helpful.

The Hogan Cottage is a great getaway, offering peace and tranquility by a pond. The bird watching was incredible. I recommend staying here, as it is conveniently close to Bristol and Newport, and there are many great restaurants to delight your taste buds as well.

Absolutely charming historic home, beautifully restored and stylishly appointed. Nellie thought of everything to make for a luxurious getaway. The house is as adorable as it appears in the photos—from the beautiful tiled bathroom with vintage tub to a sweet nook for coffees and teas. Calming ocean views from the bedroom and very comfortable sleep. Nellie was the perfect host and anticipated every need, including some great local restaurants. Could not recommend more highly! Thank you Nellie for a wonderful stay!

This place exceeded our expectations & needs! The host was kind enough to let us check in earlier at a cost & we’re so glad we did. It was a beautiful location & set up. We enjoyed the special touches to make it feel welcoming. Thanks for the “extras” you offered incase we forgot to bring anything. Everything was great. Would most definitely stay here again!

Great little bungalow in a wonderful location. We stayed in January but I imagine it to be a bustling little community in the summer season! We can’t wait to checking it out then! The space is very clean with all that is needed for a comfortable stay. Kathy was very kind and communicated extremely well prior to and during our stay. Highly recommend staying here!

A wonderful home to stay in that is super clean and perfect for families! A lovely location and so many fun things to do right near by!
