Lake house vacation rentals in New Melones Lake

Buddha Retreat is lovely, comfortable, spacious and our host was attentive and generous. The home is very close to the entrance of Yosemite(30 minutes), and it is an hour and 15 minutes total to get to the Yosemite Valley from Buddha Retreat where most of the major sites are. We all felt that we had been taken 'care of' and that our experience surpassed our expectations. I think that is all you can hope for when you are away from your own home. We had discovered a couple of things that we thought we needed to share with our host for future guests and thought that our host would take in this information and correct it for the future guests, but instead it was dealt with immediately. It was surprising at first, but really was consistent with the superior attention that we had already received. I think you will be very pleased. We were.

Alaina's cabin is paradise. Gorgeous setting looking over Pine Mountain Lake. Beautiful space inside. Our family of 7 enjoyed all the rooms and amenities. Kayaking and paddle boarding. Playing board games on the deck. Meals at the large dining table. It was perfection and I highly recommend! Alaina answered all questions quickly and with kindness. 10/10

The updates to the home were awesome. This was our 7th visit and love it so much. Our kids love the lake, swimming, tubing and fishing there. Great fun, would highly recommend a visit. Thank you Ryan!

I like the place they made it so warming and home all the things are there or you need. I love my staying in the house.

We had a great stay. The fishing was fun and we caught some bluegill. Spotted some trout and bass but they were not biting. The house was great, clean, and perfect for our stay. The multiple decks were nice and we enjoyed our coffee out there. The management company provided great instructions. The home really added to our awesome Yosemite trip. Thank you for a great time.

Loved this little getaway! If you are looking for peaceful, quiet, and a fully stocked kitchen this place is IT!! Oh and bbq! Had a great time!!

This is our 2nd time staying at this BEAUTIFUL lakeside home. The hosts are FANTASTIC with their communication & instructions. Everything went smoothly as expected. Our family was able to enjoy the beautiful sunrise & sunsets in addition to water play and boating (we brought our own). The kitchen was spotless & all the amenities one could need. We really enjoyed the BBQ/Grill outside for making large meals for a big family. Renting the upstairs apartment was a bonus too as we have a large immediate family. Sleeping arrangements were comfortable. We enjoyed the morning deer visits and watching the squirrels & birds. The weather was PERFECT! Hot during the day to enjoy the cool water and evenings were very comfortable. The younger kids wore themselves out in the water. We HIGHLY RECCOMEND a visit here! (But we want 1st dibs for booking next year's family trip!) :)

The cabin was very cute and perfectly located for our needs and wants. Very quiet cabin inside.

Comfortable beds (I like firm beds) with pressed linens. Nice quality towels. Thoughtful bottles of water at the nightstands for those dry, high altitude nights. Good airflow for sleeping. Clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the deck for Star gazing and for morning coffee. Well stocked kitchen tools for cooking. Lara was easy to communicate with and very thoughtful. Had a great weekend under the sugar pines!

We had a great stay and this was a perfect location for a visit with family in the area. The home had all of the amenities we could possibly need and was very comfortable both inside and out. The location is great for lake access or to just enjoy the view. A great place that we will definitely return to!

We had a great stay at this cabin! The space was cozy and clean, and the location was great—just a short distance from the lake and some really beautiful hikes. It was a peaceful and convenient spot to relax and enjoy nature.

We chose the place because we were attending a wedding at The Dorrington Hotel - so the location was perfect. It was a great size and layout for the six of us. Adam was a great communicator and generous regarding our arrival and departure time. It was helpful that there were two bathrooms and laundry machines. We did not cook any meals there - so we can't speak to the availability of cookware or spices/oils.

This cabin was perfect for our family of 12. It was clean, spacious with a great deck for barbecuing. We also had a Solar Stove for the kids to do s’mores. The kitchen has all the basics necessities you need plus an espresso pod station that we all super enjoyed. April was also a fantastic host. She answered all of my questions in a timely manner and provided so much helpful information in a guide book that she shared with us (and a clear checkout list). Very organized and thoughtful. The location was fantastic as well, peaceful, beautiful with a few lakes around the area to choose from that are less than 10 min away! We will keep this place in mind for future bookings. Spent the weekend here with my SO and had an incredible time. Jessica’s property is cozy and nestled in the forest with amazing views in every direction. The house was super clean and with great amenities (including the use of a vehicle pass to see Big Trees State Park which is only 10 min away!). Jessica was super responsive and proactive, being sure to ask how our stay was going and ready to answer any questions we may have had. She also gave us some great local recommendations for seasonal activities around town. Would highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful home with everything you need. Very clean and comfortable beds. Great hot tub on a deck under the trees. We really enjoyed all the games and kids had so much fun playing with all the toys! We would definitely recommend this cabin.

Carla's place was perfect for us. It is about as close as you can get to the lake and 2 minutes from downtown. Arguably the most well-equipped kitchen for an Airbnb... Overall excellent, clean home and an exceptional value. Thank you, Carla!

Great place to stay! We were visiting Yosemite National Park and it was a great location. My husband utilized the golf course that the house is located on and really enjoyed it! Jake and his wife were super helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

Great neighborhood and very cozy home I had so much fun !!

We loved staying at Fitz Inn! We have stayed in several cabins in this area and Fitz Inn stands out for several reasons. First, the house is lovely, clean, and well-appointed. Second, the natural light is lovely and this is hard to find in a wooded area like Blue Lake Springs. Third, THE DECK. We loved sitting out on that deck, watching wildlife (even a bear!) wander by, watching the bats come out at dusk and then the stars. The layout of the house was also really great for us given that we have teens. Parents had the master of course, and oldest kid could be in the other downstairs room with a little distance from the parents. Younger kid was right upstairs. Loved playing Ping Pong, and being able to walk to the lake for swimming. Overall, the house was excellent! My only suggestion would be fans in the upstairs rooms. But we were grateful for the AC! We had a fantastic time and were very comfy at the Fitz Inn, and the owner and Property Manager were very responsive ! Thank you!

Everything was very good, the area was very quiet, a good place to rest from the noise of the city.

We had such a lovely stay at this house in Groveland. This was a nice location to stay at, walkable to Pine Mountain Lake area and not too far from Yosemite. Michelle was a great host as she responded quickly to my questions about staying there. The house has everything a family like ours would need - everything to feel right at home, everything we needed to cook with, items to use for little kids like ours (i.e. high chair) plus Michelle included extra snacks and amenities, which was very thoughtful. We definitely recommend this place!

The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. Enough space to spread out and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. Perfect for our stay! The host was friendly, prompt and easy to communicate with. I would stay again!!
