Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Nakano City

We enjoyed our stay at Yoko's place. Close to both subway and train stations. Very safe neighborhood even as we walked home at 11pm thru the back alley. We had little issue with locating the address but it is due to us not being familiar with Japan. Yoko responded right away when I messaged her and it was a smooth sailing after that. We would definitely rent her place in the future.

Wouw it couldn't be any better!! masa is such a nice guy and very welcoming! upon arriving we felt welcome, he explained everything and went his way. he had answers for every question we had and helped us to the best of his ability. upon arriving we gave him some Dutch gifts ( fridge magnet of a wooden shoe with tulips and a pack of stroopwafels) this shook him but he accepted it with a smile from ear to ear! the accommodation was clean and well taken care of, plenty of room for 2 people and really close to Ebara-machi station, which we used the most to get around. friendly people around Ota and the 7-11 around the corner is also very helpful! next time we are planning to stay longer! Domo arigato gozaimasu masa-san!

Small place but very clean and comfortable. The Nakano area is quiet and full of restaurants and things to do. Annie was super helpful throughout the whole stay. Very recommended!

Harvey and Lei are great! My family had a lovely stay and felt very comfortable. The house has everything you would need, and I like that the location is outside of the very busy parts of Tokyo but still close to the stations. My family walked to a bagel place called Kepo each morning for bagels and then spend the day in different parts of Tokyo. The house is a great place to come back to after a busy day in the city. I highly recommend staying here and hope to come again!

I honestly don’t know where to begin. Staying in Keiko’s home was truly one of the greatest honors of our time in Japan—it was a highlight of the entire trip. From the moment we walked through her door, we were immersed in Japanese culture. Keiko greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel immediately at home. She patiently guided us through everything, showing us how to use her space with care and respect. Her home is a reflection of her spirit—graceful, serene, and full of beauty. I was deeply moved and inspired by her presence and generosity. Being invited to take part in her traditional Japanese tea ceremony was an experience I will never forget. She took the time to teach us the rituals and meaning behind each step, explaining everything with such clarity and heart. Before the stay, the host sent me a video on how to get to the inn and how to open the lock, so I was able to get there without getting lost. From the moment I entered the inn, I was impressed by the very nice space!As the name COMORI suggests, it is a very quiet place and I think it is the perfect place to be alone.This time I was only able to stay one night, so next time I would like to stay for consecutive nights and enjoy relaxing at the inn and walking around the area!

We loved staying here. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. This place is away from the main tourist areas but being that it is a local area, it was nice to come back to a quiet place after being out all day. My family of four had so much space in the house and Yuga is an awesome host who arranged airport transportation to and from Haneda airport. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved the stay. location is perfect to get around to any of the major spots in Tokyo. satoshi is always prompt on chat and helped me throughout in checkin and checkout. Tip for tall folks: watch your head in the house. i ended up banging my head quite a few times between rooms 🤣

The room is spacious and cozy, and has every thing you need. I spent a relaxing holiday there. The location is an around 10-minute walk from the train stations. There are supermarkets and convenience stores along the way. The host is very nice and always response timely. He offers pick up and delivery from the station. The accommodation would exceed your expectation.

Kasumi was by far the most helpful host on Airbnb I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with. Her detailed descriptions of finding our stay was so helpful and we really enjoyed all of the recommended restaurants she provided for us! Our stay was clean and had everything we needed. The area was full of convenience stores, shopping areas, great bars/restaurants and very close to Nakano station. Highly recommend this stay in Nakano city!

An optimal apartment for the price with very good train connections.

Such a great find! The flat is stunning and looks exactly as described, spacious and very nicely designed and decorated. The area is also very vibrant, loads of restaurant and the host kindly provide a long list of places to go

The apartment is beautifully and practically furnished. The open floor plan is ideal for families, as everyone feels like they're all in one room. The beds are comfortable. The location is quite good, as it's only two stops to Shinjuku on the express train. Everything was great. We'll be back next time we're in Japan.

A comfortable and clean stay where Jun will make you feel right at home. He’s a fantastic host, not to mention funny, incredibly hospitable and warm. This spot checked all my boxes and was the ideal stay while in Japan. Quiet and peaceful with local shops nearby while being close enough to access the city by train.

Host was very responsive, helped with garbage in the middle of our stay, and very friendly!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The clear instructions provided made check-in a breeze, and I was welcomed by a friendly staff member who kindly assisted me with my luggage. The place was impeccably clean, equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. It was pleasantly quiet, and just a 5-minute walk to the subway station.

Host was very responsive, and listing matched descriptions and pictures in the listing. The unit is 3 min walk from train station, which is really convenient. Host explained how to use all appliances. Quick response from host whenever we ask any questions. Would highly recommend this place!!

Family of 3 (with a 2 year old). Couldn’t have asked for a better location to stay. Two large supermarkets with fresh food literally across the road, lots of options for a quick local meal. Short journey (15-30min) by express railway with minimal transfers to shibuya, shinjuku, daikanyama, nakameguro, aoyama etc. (but conversely further to get to the other side of Tokyo). Railway station is 5 min walk away, easily accessible for strollers etc. The house is lovely. Spacious (more than photos show), with balcony and rooftop for private open areas. Full amenities provided. Kitchen, aircon/heating. As mentioned in other reviews, given its proximity to the station/shopping centre, there is street noise into the night/early morning - but earplugs are provided! Cot provided was great for our toddler, and bathtub easy to run for washes. Small space at bottom of stairs to store your stroller overnight (behind private locked gate). recommend this place for the reasons above!

We had a lovely stay at Shunki’s place! Everything was clean and spacious with easy check in and out instructions. The location was convenient to the train station and we had multiple convenient stores and shops for our every day needs. We were welcomed with a box of treats when we arrived and it was super sweet! Highly recommend :)

Lovely little appartment in a calm neighboorhood. Kami-kitazawa station is at 2 minutes walk from the airbnb and it’s pretty easy to travel to more central areas from there (shibuya and shinjuku for example). Lots of restaurants nearby as well as supermarkets which spared us a lot of time when trying to find something. Only detail is the train that passes by is kind of loud but we slept well nonetheless. Would come back to this place.

Superb stay in Shimokitazawa. We really loved the area (enough going on but not as mental as Shibuya). The apartment was a great base for a few days and the tub was a bonus. Thanks, would stay again ⭐️
