You can find lots of beautiful scenery within a 10-minute walk. Please don't miss the view of Mt. Iizuna from Lake Daiza-Hoshi. About 3 minutes on foot from the nearest bus stop (Iizuna Higashi-ku)! The next closest bus stop (Iizuna Kogen) is about a 7-minute walk away. You can also come by public transportation. Restaurants such as Mori no Eki, Iizuna Soba, ramen, and hamburgers are also within walking distance. About 25 minutes by car from Nagano Station and Zenkoji Temple. Togakushi Shrine is about a 15-minute drive away. It is also great as a base for golf and skiing in the Togakushi, Kurohime, and Myoko areas. Please also use it for climbing the Togakushi Kodo, Amatomi Trail, and Mt. Iizuna. If you'd like to visit a hot spring, Tengunokan on Lake Reisenji is about a 15-minute drive away. For a large public bath, Asobiba is about a 5-minute drive away. There is a discount on the bath fee. We lend projectors and screens free of charge. An entirely private, newly built villa with a quiet 100-tsubo (1,500 m²) forest garden. The inn was featured in Tabi Salad and Ariyoshi no Kabe. After procuring fresh ingredients locally, move to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and go up the stairs to bring the ingredients to the hearth space. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter. We are 1080m above sea level, its cool in summer!
