Our stay at kempenhaus was very quiet, relaxing, and peaceful. We felt very comfortable and right at home. Had everything we needed for our stay. Our host Katrina was very responsive to any of our questions we had regarding the property, which made communication excellent. All in all we enjoyed our getaway, and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy comfy getaway. Thank you for being such a great host Katrina

The perfect getaway for a couple or small group of friends! Everything was very well updated and the hot tub and sauna was very relaxing. They provided a timely response when needed and were very easy to book with. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the view from the deck was stunning. We especially appreciated the little touches like the, family friendly games, fast Wi-Fi, and detailed welcome guide. Whether you’re looking to relax in the hot tub, kayak on the lake, or just unwind in a peaceful setting, this cottage has it all. A Perfect Getaway at a Beautiful Water View Cottage! Our group of girlfriends recently had the pleasure of staying at a lovely Airbnb cottage in Norland, and I can't recommend it enough! The location was great, with great views of the water that made every moment feel special. The cottage itself was very nice, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the hosts were attentive. We were disappointed that we couldn't fully enjoy the wonderful deck due to the weather. However, the hot tub was a fantastic highlight of our stay, and we made the most of it! Overall, our stay was great, and look forward to returning. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with beautiful scenery, this is the place to be!

Very nice location. Cottage was extremely well stocked. Honey the dog was very friendly with the kids. Fought lake flies but didnt let them ruin our fun. Craig and Liz were very graceful and accommodating.

A beautiful place, with everything you need for a private romantic retreat, my girlfriend and I also enjoyed bringing our dogs along. I’d say if one thing could be changed I have a preference for a firmer bed.

We stayed for two nights with my husband and our dog, and we loved it! The place was cozy yet modern, with all the essentials—heating, cooling, and wifi. The bathroom was a definite highlight for us. Everything was just as described, and the little jar of honey was such a sweet touch. We also appreciated the bug helmets and Thermacell—super handy! The location was great, and having easy access to the Oxtongue River and dock was super convenient. Kayaks and canoes were also included in the booking. The views were beautiful, and the outdoor space was both peaceful and functional. Check-in was smooth, and the host had great communication and was very responsive. The cabin’s modern design really stood out. Thanks so much for having us—we’re already looking forward to coming back!

We stayed here for a family trip with our child, and he absolutely loved feeding carrots to the donkeys and horses on the ranch. The accommodation looked exactly like the photos and was impeccably clean and well-maintained. It was also very convenient because the place was fully equipped with kitchenware and amenities, so we didn’t need to bring much from home. Most of all, the host was kind and respectful of our privacy, which allowed us to truly relax during our stay. It was a quiet and peaceful place, and we’d love to visit again in the future.

We had a really nice time at Chelsea and Dylan’s place. The cottage is clean and well-stocked with everything you might need, with the added bonus of water toys and other activities. We spent most of our time outside, at the dock, around the fire pit, canoeing, or relaxing on the back deck. We also enjoyed fishing off the dock and taking in the scenery. One morning, a deer wandered through, which was a welcomed surprise! It’s also a short drive to Port Carling where you can check out the boutique shops and restaurants. We’d be happy to return!

We could spend a family vacation with 6 adults and 3 little children. It has been an ideal place for this. A nice and spacious house and beautiful surroundings! Excellent and very friendly contact to the hosts. Nearby hiking trail and only a short drive to Parry Sound. Over all an excellent stay!

We loved celebrating our anniversary at Cara’s place! It was exactly as described and extremely cozy. The fire table and outdoor lounge area was well utilized, and it is a great spot to watch shows and movies on the projector! The area surrounding the property and the town of Port Sydney itself is absolutely breathtaking. Listening to the sound of the falls was calming and peaceful while enjoying a glass of wine on the bunkie patio. Overall an extremely pleasant experience! Thank you for making our time so special (and a thank you for the bottle of wine, a wonderful surprise 😎).

Beautiful place so peaceful. Hosts were there if needed but we managed with no issues. Only thing was low water so no fishing so would love to go back in the summer! Ty so much for allowing us to stay!

Our Misty River Cabin stay was absolutely dreamy. We stayed for a weekend with our dog and left feeling relaxed and refreshed after a beautiful time in nature. The cabin is extremely cozy and has all the cottage feel while still being very luxurious. Every aspect of the cabin from the comfy beds to fully equipped kitchen (and so much more) made it feel very bespoke and special. It rained almost the entire time, but we still enjoyed every moment as we could snuggle in the Muskoka room (with outdoor fire) and watch rain fall on the river as the birds sang, or enjoy movies on the cozy couch next to the fire. Our dog got to enjoy plenty of play on the little beach and shallow water too. It was wonderful to have a vacation the entire family could enjoy. We hope to come back soon!

I've just moved to Canada and this my first trip away from Toronto. The place, the hosts, the experience... all of them amazing. If you're visiting in October, make sure you bring extra bedding with you as it gets very cold (for a Brazilian lol). I'm definitely coming back.

The Doma Lodge is a great little cabin perfect for a weekend getaway. The cabin is beautifully decorated, cozy, and very clean. Everything is well thought out, organized, and comfortable. The outside space is quite private from neighbours and is surrounded by forest. Stephen was an excellent host and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again!

Nicole was a fantastic host. Her place was super cozy and well supplied, has everything you could possibly need for a weekend stay. Highly recommend staying at boom-shack-a-la. 11/10.

We enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s. Unfortunately we had a family funeral unexpectedly and could not arrive on Friday as planned. We arrived the Saturday evening instead but Jennifer offered a late check out for us since we had lost some time. Accommodation is pleasant and clean. Bed was comfortable and you can tell that Jennifer and her husband take great pride in the property Beautiful surroundings and a great view of the lake. Orr lake is very shallow and has a beach area it would be great if travelling with kids. We were disappointed that the water was too shallow for fishing from the dock but it was a chilly weekend so we spent time in nearby Midland. St Marie Among the Hurons was a great way to spend a cold afternoon. Found a great English pub in Victoria Harbour.

Caroline was a great host to us. She put our trust in us with our first booking on AirBnB, answered all our questions promptly and accurately, provided clear and reasonable instructions and was friendly and helpful in all communications. The cottage itself is in a nice location on a scenic lake with outdoor amenities and chairs. It was great value, and everything that was provided allowed for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. While there are others enjoying the lake at nearby cottages, it still felt fairly private by the cottage as well. I would without a doubt consider staying here again if we're back in the area. Our stay at this Muskoka cabin was perfect for unwinding. Eliza and Safiqa were both amazing hosts. The 50s vintage decor and cedar furniture created a cozy atmosphere, and the serene lake views were breathtaking. We enjoyed the pedal boat, and the outdoor BBQ space for meals with a gorgeous lake view. There were also lots of activities to do only 15-20min from the cabin which was an added bonus. Our stay had been a fantastic retreat to disconnect and recharge. Highly recommended!

Perfect little place for peace and quiet with the right amenities for pampering. Open, clean, and comfortable. Will definitely go back!
