Great house, very satisfied in all aspects, very close to the park entrance, very safe neighborhood. Highly recommended.

So not often does the description and photos go beyond your expectations of an Airbnb but at Jo’s place that’s what happened. From communication, to the welcome we received from Rivonia (who was so kind) and the house itself Jo’s place was by far the most amazing Airbnb we ever stayed at!! The bedrooms/bathrooms were incredible, the kitchen, living rooms were spacious and beautiful, but the star of the house was the view!!!! We woke up every morning EARLY to have coffee on our breathtaking patio and soak up the sunrise and animals!!!! We will be coming back to stay at My Huis at the Likweti Bushveld Estate!!! Thank you Jo and Rivonia for an unforgettable stay at My Huis!!!!

The stay at this beautiful luxury house is truly burning wood for one's old age. Apart from the impeccable property, the superb hospitality from Andre and his parents is something I shall cherish for life. I am truly greatful that we had the opportunity to stay at this house and met these wonderful people.

This home was everything and more!!! The house itself was absolutely amazing and far exceeded the photos which says a lot! The kitchen was sooo well stocked and was such a perfect oasis at the end of our busy days sightseeing! We had tons of animal visitors in the backyard every morning. Morning coffee and Giraffe sightings is something we don’t experience in Los Angeles! The bedrooms were so spacious and every detail of the home was luxurious. The beds were super comfortable and the outdoor showers were next level. We had plenty of room to spread out both inside and out. The host was so helpful in making us feel so at home with a stocked fridge upon arrival and was always available when we needed her from booking to check out the experience was PERFECTION. We will be back again and again. We have found our South African home away from home. 10/10 experience all around.

The property was beautifully maintained, clean, and comfortable. The hosts were incredibly responsive and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. However, I did want to mention one area for improvement - the gravel road leading to the property. While it's not a major issue, it can get quite dusty and bumpy. I Take the shower is a tricky one mistake the bus home could be flooded as they don’t have shelter and a toilet downstairs would be convenient but I would highly recommend considering upgrading to a tar road to make the approach more comfortable and visually appealing. Despite this minor quibble, our stay was fantastic, and I would wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. Five stars from us!

The place was exactly as advertised, if not better! The experience was truly magnificent. It was quiet, remote, and peaceful—perfect for a getaway. I especially loved how the animals frequently came right up to the doorstep, adding a magical touch to the stay. Excellent all around!

We had the most incredible stay at Afrikaya Bush Lodge! From the moment we arrived, we felt instantly at home. The lodge is beautifully designed, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings, offering a truly tranquil and immersive bush experience. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the sounds of nature was an absolute highlight. The attention to detail in the decor and amenities made the experience even more special. The lodge also offers great access to nearby game reserves and activities, making it the perfect spot for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. If you’re looking for a peaceful and luxurious escape in the heart of the bush, this is the place to be. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning.!!

This was a perfect holiday. I was afraid my toddler would fuss but he loved it and interacted with all the animals. Will definitely visit again.

Our stay at Lorrain’s place was fantastic! The unit was impeccably clean, well-stocked with everything we needed, it looked better than the posted photos and the location was perfect for exploring the Kruger. Lorrain’s and staff were very accommodating and provided great local recommendations - we all loved it, the service and the FOOD were unmatched. we would definitely stay here again!".

Loved this place. The house is even nicer than the pictures and was a delight to stay at. Very tranquil location inside the wildlife estate, with antelope and warthog wandering past the veranda while we were sat out. Highly recommend.

This stay exceeded our expectations. We weren't just looking for accommodation, but a full bush / game viewing experience for the family, ages 14 to 83. I thought we might be taking a risk booking through Airbnb, but it was wonderful!! Largely due to Chris - our exceptional guide - and the large area we had access to. The lodge itself was fantastic, and Suzan and Roscar too.

Stacey's house is absolutely awesome. Based just outside Hoedspruit, the estate is very quiet with natural vegetation separating the property from the neighbours. Plenty of room in the bedrooms and living areas. Everything needed for a relaxing vacation is there. Beds are very comfortable, and WiFi worked flawlessly.

We LOVED our stay. The place is huge and beautiful, perfect for stargazing with a group of friends. The interior is exactly like the pictures - super tasteful. The host is very communicative and accommodating. Couldn't recommend more!! If we go back to South Africa again, we would 100% stay at this place again and will spend more time next time.

We had multiple groups in the park at the same time we all agreed ours was the best layout and location for animal viewings ! Suggested items to take was a portable speaker and binoculars!

Our stay at Anna’s Airbnb in Selati Game Reserve was an unforgettable experience. The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and perfectly immersed in nature. Waking up to stunning views and the sounds of wildlife was magical.A highlight was the private safari led by Sarina, our exceptional tracker. Her deep knowledge and passion for wildlife made every drive an adventure. Thanks to her expertise, we spotted the four out of the Big Five and learned so much about the ecosystem. From sundowners under the African sky to fireside evenings, everything was perfect. Anna’s attention to detail and Sarina’s guidance made this a truly special trip. Highly recommend for a luxurious and immersive safari experience! *Important to know prior to booking! You must get food prior to arriving. There are no food options available within an hour drive. She offered catering options, but I thought I would be able to drive close by to gather some. That was my fault, not hers! Next time, I'll cater!

Tracey is so welcoming , kind & friendly. She checks up on her visitors daily if they’re still okay , you can hit up on her if you need anything & she is so quick to respond. Great service. I and my family had the best stay at her place. The place is also so beautiful, relaxing, clean and peaceful. It’s worth every single penny we paid for. Continue being such an amazing host , Tracey.

The place looks more beautiful than the photos. It’s quite private and full of nature. The animals even come close to where you stay. The hosts go out of their way to ensure your comfort. We really enjoyed our stay.

My family and I had a lovely time at Miriam’s place. The house is equipped with everything that one will need. It was so nice to get peace and quiet we wanted for our down time. Unfortunately for us we didn’t get to see animals from the house. Even monkeys were missing in action 😅. All the facilities and games in the house ensured that we spend quality time together as a family. Just one thing anyone should be aware of is that network is not great at the house so if you do visit be prepared to be offline often. Thanks Miriam for allowing us to enjoy your lovely space.

Fantastic loacation. Perfect home away from home and ideal for a relaxing few days together with family and friends. Carol is extremely helpful and always available for every need. I recommend this wonderful lodge to anyone looking to enjoy a wonderful experience in the african nature.

Holiday home away from home. Scenic nature and peaceful. Sunrises with animal siting. The kids enjoyed the lovely splash pool. The host was very responsive and available when needed.

We loved staying at Chandre’s place. It has everything we needed to feel at home. She was very clear with instructions on check in & that made check in & check out go smoothly! We loved the fact that the braai area is closed off with a small fence. So the animals can still be seen & you can feed them but they don’t come too close to the house. Especially with the children. They loved it. Would definitely recommend her place & will definitely book there again when we’re in the area.

Great stay if you have kids as they were kept busy with the pool table and table tennis for hours. Great space with all the kitchen basics. We were very grateful to be able to get an early check in which allowed us to miss the worst of the traffic out of Johannesburg.
