Amazing place to stay for those looking for a break north of J’Burg. Staff were great attending to every need and the flexibility to allow us to personalize our trip from game drives to quad safaris to just pool time was great. Be sure to do the outside dining experience which was spectacular. We will be back for sure.

We liked it very much, unfortunately the neighbors were very loud but that can happen. Beautiful cozy lodge with good connection to Kruger National Park. We can only recommend the stay!

Bushwhacked, Barberton (The Woodshed)

LiezlRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Bushwhacked is the perfect stay for people who are… well, bushwhacked. Abundant birdlife, spectacular views, that now-we’re-out-in-nature feeling and complete quiet. If you prefer a can of Doom to a fat, pink gecko as your means of pest control, then this is not the place for you. Its charm comes from hand hewn stone and old farm finds, not pristine white cotton and Charlotte Rhys in the bathroom. But if you’re looking for the perfect overnight intro to the Kruger or your soul requires a few days disconnected and surrounded by nature (while still having access to WiFi, because some things don’t change) then this is the place you’ve been looking for. Catherine is very helpful and a joy too!
A spacious living area features a large sectional sofa adorned with cushions. Natural light fills the room through glass doors that open to a private garden. A sleek coffee table sits atop a decorative rug, while a modern kitchen area is visible in the background.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cambalala, Kruger Park Lodge and wished we could’ve stayed longer. It had everything we needed, the decor was beautiful, we really appreciated the daily service/ clean and the staff at the lodge were really helpful. Such a great base for day trips into Kruger. Chevon/ Raymond were always helpful and responsive. Can’t wait to go back!

Viewpoint Lodge & Safari Tours

DesireeRating, 5 stars87 months ago
We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who went the extra mile to drive and park our car on the steep slope of the driveway. The 2 bedroom log cabin was clean and spacious and accurately described on the site. We enjoyed the pool next to the cabin. Definitely recommended.
