Such a beautiful place. Fully equipped, authentically furnished and a very accommodating host, she went out of her way to make our stay special.

What a joy that we found this place! We paid for the accommodation but I feel that she gave us a big gift. We could see that she really cares her guests and wants to bless them including our family. We could feel her elegant and practical personality and character from all the corners of this house. After running around in Graskop area for a few days and we were so exhausted. But we came here the last destination and this house was for us to rest...well. My kids already announced that we need to come back to Kaapsehoop this very house.."Secret garden." It is the very suitable name for this house. We want to say "Thank you so so much" to Tafflin to allow us to stay in her property.

A great place to stay and enjoy the beautiful home . Great location , spotlessly clean and modern, with a spectacular garden and braai area outside . Safe and secure and very quiet in the evening . Only a short drive to all the shopping malls and restaurants in the area . This is a top class Airbnb. Will definitely stay in the future .

Amazing home in a great, secure estate. The property is super comfortable and spacious, with huge bedrooms. The photos don't do it justice, it looks way better. The hosts are responsive and helpful. High recommended.

I had a great stay at this Airbnb! The space looks exactly like the pictures—clean, stylish, and thoughtfully furnished. Everything was well-maintained and comfortable, from the bed to the living area. It felt like a home away from home. Communication with the host was smooth and easy, and check-in was hassle-free. I appreciated the attention to detail and the cozy atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This was our second stay at Dawn's house and it was not by mistake. She and her husband are the best of hosts so much so that we feel like we are a part of the family. Dawn is very warm, caring and accommodating to every need you may have. She is an excellent communicator and will attend to any query swiftly and satisfactorily. The listing in itself is a gem of note... With a terrace encompassed by a large tree that provides shade at all time of the day, you can enjoy sitting outside taking in fresh air while reading one of the books from her lovely little boomshelves. The place is well kept and the bathroom is in pristine condition (we loved the bathtub). The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking at your convenience. Thank you for having us Dawn... Yours is a home away from home.

A beautiful place to match their beautiful family! The facilities were exactly as they described, even more beautiful in person! Peaceful, safe, and a perfect place to go to disconnect from the city life. It was our first time experiencing an off the grid farm stay so we were unprepared for a few things however they were so helpful and accommodating, we felt like we were visiting family. As they came to check on us, they overheard that there’s a birthday girl so they came back to sing for her, with baked goods in hand. 100% would recommend staying here. Can’t wait to come back! This was our second time staying at this lovely property, and it was just as we remembered. From the moment we arrived, everything felt familiar and welcoming — like a home away from home. An electric kettle would be a welcome addition, and heaters in the winter as it gets cold in the house. What stood out once again was the attention to detail and how effortless the whole experience was. The check-in process was smooth, the amenities were great, and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect place to unwind. The host continues to be outstanding — responsive, warm, and dedicated to providing a consistently high-quality stay. We didn’t hesitate to rebook, and after this second visit, we’re even more certain we’ll be back again.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! It’s truly a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle — quiet, calm, and surrounded by nature. The cottage is so well-equipped with everything you could possibly need, and you can tell a lot of thought and care went into making it feel like a home away from home. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. I left feeling completely refreshed and can’t wait to return!

We weren’t ready for this. You read of amazing places and then you get there…. And sometimes when you get there they exceed your wildest expectations… this is one of those situations. From the spectacular setting with breathtaking views. An extremely well appointed kitchen to friendly staff that accommodates their guests around every corner. When can we visit again !?

30km outside of Dullstroom....but such an amazing place to stay! Our only regret is that we ran out of time to fully explore the trails. The cottage had everything we needed (except a fan) and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the middle of the forest.

Manuel is a great host, very responsive also. The place is beautiful, everything was just perfect. Loved the chocolates he had for us in the bedrooms. My girls and I enjoyed our stay.
