Vacation rentals in Montecastelli

I loved this little town and this Airbnb. We came to Montone because a friend was getting married nearby, and honestly, this place is so charming. The Airbnb is in excellent condition. It has a spacious kitchen with everything you need, which made breakfast easy for us; a comfortable bed, a balcony, a washer and it’s located practically next to the main square. Everything was super clean, and communication with Andrea was excellent. While we were in town, we had a flat tire and he helped us sort it out. A lovely gesture was that he left us some water and the most amazing apples as a gift. 100% recommended!

This place is amazing. We spent two weeks here and had the best time. The house is as pictured and very thoughtfully setup with all the amenities; heated pool, double dishwashers, double washing machines, great linens, plenty of hot water, etc. We had our two small children with us and the house is very well setup for kids - books, toys, cribs, changing tables. Even baby monitors and mosquito nets for the cribs! The town nearby is very quaint and we loved going to the bakery and letting our son explore the town. Anything significant (wineries, lots of restaurants, groceries, etc is >20 mins away so you certainly need a car and will do some driving). The only downside are the bugs, but you are in the country so this is to be expected. We had a hard time keeping the rooms cool because a few of the screens had rips in them so the bugs got in if we opened the windows. Anna was responsive and helpful in planning and during our stay we used the on-site contact. We want to go back!

Wow! What a stay! What beautiful hosts - and what a spot. Beautiful views over an expansive valley- tasteful super clean accomodation and great hosts - We loved meeting Coen and Laura - they waited especially to meet us and made us so welcome. Only sorry they were leaving that day and we couldn't spend more time together The villa is set in a breathtaking location and is tastefully renovated and laid out. We had everything we needed to cook for the family in the villa and lots of options for eating out locally. We had air con in all the rooms which in the heat was a real plus. We swam and played in the pool day and night and enjoyed meeting the neighbours there. I can't say enough good things about Casa Luna and our hosts. We loved the proximity to the rest of Umbria and Tuscany - meravigliosa!

We had a fantastic stay in the old mill. The house and the property, including Pool, invite you to relax. We lacked nothing. Everything was clean and tidy. You have your peace and quiet on the property. We were 2 families, with everyone having their retreat options. Communication with Daniel and Anne went the way you want it to be. You never felt alone. the place is fantastic surrounded by greenery and quiet ... also great for those who have animals since it is all fenced. 10 minutes from the Tiber River so very suitable for people like us who love to fish. Thehost (Gianluca) is a fantastic person,friendly and always available ...Great vacation in full Relaxation, we will return

What a wonderful stay. Perfect house for a family holiday with plenty of space for everyone. The house is beautiful and the beds all king size and comfy. The outdoor space and pool are perfect for relaxing after exploring the local area. Within easy reach of exploring the Tuscan gems of Siena and Montipluciano as well as lesser known villages such as spectacular Montone. Alessandro was so responsive and helpful providing recommendations for wine tours and a local chef. The local restaurant Mimmi is not to be missed - authentic home cooked food that was one of the best meals we ate - and the bar was set high. Thank you Alessandro for a wonderful and memorable stay.

We have only been back a few hours after a week spent in this wooden accommodation and we already miss it. So much greenery, tranquility and simplicity. Super host, always available and present but never intrusive. Very prepared for advice on the place and above all a pleasant person to listen to. His dogs are very sweet and very polite, they collaborated a lot with our two pesky Pinschers. We did not miss anything, everything was perfect and certainly repeatable. Lovely, bright, fresh and clean place, right on the piazza of Umbertide, but with windows out towards the quiet back. Lovely views of roof tops and mountains. Kitchen is tiny and basic equipped, but just enough for a shorter stay. Katia is helpfull and friendly.
