Villa vacation rentals in Monte Argentario

Mauro was very responsive. Check in instructions were good, the apartment was easy to find and it was great to have a big drive to park in. The apartment is spacious, clean and looks newly decorated and the view is lovely - we loved the early mornings out on the terrace. The apartment is well-equipped and the kitchen is very well stocked. With just a couple of small improvements, it could be 5 star - more than one pillow per head, sun loungers or a sofa on the terrace, a working parasol and a tidier garden. But overall we had a good stay. It should be noted that the apartment isn’t in Porto San Stefano but a short drive outside it and access to the beach (pictured) is not for the faint hearted - there’s no pavement and the road’s quite busy. Our dog wouldn’t have been able to manage the steps down to the underpass, nor would anyone with mobility issues or push chairs.

Centrally located in Tuscany, the place had more than enough space. My wife and I used the upper suite, which had its own bathroom and kitchenette, while the kids used the downstairs area and bedrooms. Such amazing views of the countryside as well as Chianciano itself above us on the hillside. The medieval section of town was only steps away up the hill and worth the exercise, with a handful of restaurants/ enotecas that you must visit; the old resort area of Chianciano Termi was a 15 minute walk and fascinating to explore. Coop, a local grocery chain, was a mere 7 minutes from the villa. With Val D'Orcia so close by as well as Siena, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza, and even Florence, this is a wonderfully situated place. Matteo and his mother were so helpful in local recommendations and suggestions.

Staying at this beautiful Tuscan farmhouse for 7 weeks was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views of rolling hills and vineyards. The farmhouse itself is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts, making it an ideal retreat. Each room was tastefully decorated, maintaining the authentic Tuscan style with a touch of luxury. The kitchen was well-equipped, which was perfect for preparing meals with fresh local ingredients. The outdoor area was a highlight, with a lovely patio and a pool that offered breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside. It was the perfect spot for relaxation and enjoying the tranquil surroundings. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. They provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and must-visit spots in the area. Their hospitality added a personal touch to our stay, making us feel at home.

A beautiful little house with a fantastic view of the sea. Bedroom, kitchen and bathroom are small but nicely furnished and you have everything you need. The terrace is very large with plenty of seating and beautiful tables. From there you have a wonderful view of the sea. The area consists of a few other vacation homes and is very quiet. There is a swimming pool that you can use and at the end of a long staircase an access to the sea (no beach but rocky but still great for swimming). Around the cottage is a small garden and many beautiful trees. Giovanni's father Eduardo welcomed us, showed us everything and was very friendly. If we had a question, we got an answer quickly. For shopping, you drive about 10-15 minutes by car to the next town. In summary: a very nice quiet place with perfect views with friendly people. We will be happy to come back.

The only flaw is that the stay is too short! Comfortable, quiet, clean house with well-kept outdoor space and wonderful view, indoor parking, cozy even for a German shepherd! Access at any time is another plus for those who can't arrive early and the directions received from Liana are extremely clear. The stay also included admission to a private establishment in the area, very well maintained and located in one of the beautiful coves of the area. We hope to come back soon and thank you for everything!

Great place with a fantastic host! We stayed four night with our 3y old son and had a great timein the area. Please listen to Elena’s instruction and get an appropriate car because of the house location but do t worry it is OK to get here.

That was my 2nd stay in this amazing house! I felt again immediately at home and comfortable. Maria’s housekeeper was extremely welcoming and helped us connect our electric car with the house mains.

The farmhouse is surrounded by greenery, not far from the town of Proceno, where we met Lorenzo who accompanied us to our destination. The road to get to the farmhouse is not paved only in the last part, but it is still well maintained and easily accessible by car. The location enjoys ample privacy and a refreshing view of the valley below. Inside the spaces are very large with a very cozy living area and suitable for hosting many guests! We took advantage of both the outdoor oven, the barbecue, and the indoor fireplace: all perfectly functional! We couldn't enjoy the pool because we stayed in winter! Lorenzo proved to be extremely friendly and helpful, running to our rescue when needed! Nearby there are many towns, easily accessible, for day trips (Torre Alfina, Pitigliano, Sorano, etc.) I highly recommend the location especially for nature and animal lovers!

Two-storey villa on the lake with private parking for cars (we had 2 cars, but I think there will fit 4), own garden, outdoor dining area and own access to the lake. On the ground floor there is a kitchen with a dishwasher, a bathroom with a washing machine, a dining area and 3 bedrooms: with a large double bed, with a smaller double bed and with two beds - an adult and a child. Second floor with separate entrance on street stairs. On the second floor there are 2 bedrooms with double beds, a kitchen with a coffee machine, 2 bathrooms, a common area with a double sofa and a single couch. We were 10 people and accommodated quite comfortably. Perfect for 2-4 families (depending on the number of children). The villa is far from the driveway, which allows you to enjoy silence and privacy. At the same time, there is a 3- to 5-minute walk to the sea shore with a sandy beach, and a 10-minute drive to the city of Porto Santo Stefano with a fish market, shops, restaurants and a ferry to Giglio Island.

Franca and Giulio were great hosts and took care of our well-being. The house is idyllically situated in a quiet environment in an elevated location, ideal for relaxing. The kitchen is excellently equipped, we didn't miss anything. Particularly noteworthy is the beautiful pool, which perfectly rounded off our time there. Overall it was a relaxing and unforgettable stay – we will be happy to come back!

We stayed at Casa del Fico in April 2025. The house is very nice, clean and well maintained, located in the silence of the countryside behind Marina di Pescia Romana, with numerous beds available. In addition to the dining room on the ground floor, there is also one in the basement, both with long tables that allow lunches and dinners even for large groups (there were 9 of us). In the beautiful garden there is a swimming pool and a gazebo with another large table that allows you to eat outdoors, preferably under the stars, which are clearly visible given the low light pollution in the area (especially for those who live in the city). There are numerous places to visit in the area: Saturnia, Tarquinia, the archaeological park of Vulci, Viterbo, Lake Bolsena, the Maremma, just to name a few, as well as the sea, of course. The owner is very kind and helpful. We can only recommend the Casa del Fico to anyone planning a vacation in these beautiful areas.

Laura’s place was just amazing. Even better than the photos show. Everyone was so helpful and Boris was great with the check in and suggesting places to visit such as beaches and restaurants. The town is is easy walking distance and a lovely walk down in the evening for dinners along quiet paths. We visited with another family and it was the perfect spot. The views are incredible, the garden and pool are beautiful and the house had everything we needed including an extra garden room which was great to give a bit more space for both families. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely love to come back in the future. Thank you so much Laura.

Villa San Giuseppe is a true gem where you can relax and unwind very well. In the villa it has almost everything one needs for a stay. The rooms are very well equipped and the whole area around the villa is very large and very nice. The pool is gigantically large and very nicely located with a foresight. There should be more umbrellas and loungers for the sun loungers. The WIFI would have to be even better developed and the water when showering is not really hot but rather cold. The barbecue area is also very well located and there is enough wood to grill something fine every day. In the exterior dining area, a lounge would be very good as an addition, as most people are located outside. The arrival through the many cypress trees is also a highlight every time and the road is easily accessible from gravel. Overall, however, highly recommended, which appreciates tranquility and yet the proximity to the city of Follonica about 15 minutes drive.

Cala Moresca is a beautiful area if you are looking for amazing views with peace and quiet away from the daily hubbub of life. The villa is just about perfect and feels very much like a home you'd want to spend time in, it's perfectly rustic and packed with pretty much everything you would need, be it cooking, cleaning, relaxing and enjoying a wonderful holiday. From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted with an unexpected welcome pack of food and drink, such a nice touch. They even had a Nespresso coffee maker with pods which (for us) was a real gem. The views and sunsets are amazing, but also a gentle breeze that helps take the edge off a hot sunny day, at night the temperature is perfect for eating outside and it never feels uncomfortable. The photos of the pool do not do it justice, it is much larger in real life and even though it is shared with a couple of other villas it remains a very relaxing area. Finally, lovely hosts, and we all loved it.

Wonderful villa, close to the amenities of the port but very quiet and peaceful. Well-kept, clean, and tidy indoor and outdoor spaces and a unique view. The hosts are very kind, helpful and accommodating to the needs of guests. I highly recommend staying in this home. I have been to the island of Giglio several times and I will definitely return, again to this accommodation. Another point: mosquito kits! It's not obvious that they are offered by the owners, it had never happened to me. Well done guys! Thanks again and see you soon!

Family weekends that turned out to be extraordinary. The farmhouse is equipped with all the necessities. Wide indoor and outdoor spaces. We'll definitely be back!

I stayed with 6 friends for 1 week. The outdoor area and surroundings were stunning. The wifi and dishwasher could have been better. Fabrizio is a great host he explained everything to us and showed us the surroundings. Overall, we had a great week☺️

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and wonderful swimming pool. The friendly cats were a big hit with our children and put a smile on all our faces when they greeted us outside!

Casa Moorehead was an absolute gem and a true highlight of our holiday. Built in the 1960s, it now boasts a mature terraced garden filled with shaded spots, perfect for relaxation. The house's location at Bocca d’Oro made it ideal for our multi-family getaway. The well-maintained pool and expansive garden kept both kids and adults entertained. Special thanks to Luigi, the friendly gardener, and Lourdes, the wonderful cleaner, for making our stay extra comfortable. The Moorehead family ensured that everything was seamless. Casa Moorehead is truly a special find! We'll be back!

Wow, what a wonderful experience. My husband and I chose Marco and Marta’s Villa to renew our 30th Anniversary vows. It was a magical experience that we will treasure forever. We had our boys with us to celebrate and the Villa was perfect for all five of us. It was so cozy and the bedrooms were spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our Tuscan dinners including all the amenities. Marco and Marta had their wine and olive oil for us to enjoy during our stay. The wine was amazing and the olive oil so yummy. The yard was spectacular overlooking the Tuscan mountains with the lovely pool to enjoy daily and outdoor seating to savor those beautiful daily sunrises and sunsets. Marta and Marco were perfect hosts and went out of their way to help make our anniversary extra special. It was a true Tuscan experience and we highly recommend their Villa. It was everything we expected and much much more. We will definitely be back to stay in the future!
