We had an amazing experience at the house, both the Host and D. Rosa were impeccable in making us feel at home. The views were amazing and the house is very well decorated. All the features are there we especially enjoyed the heated pool, the jacuzzi and the pool table. Definitely will come back!

Apesar de não termos tido sorte com o tempo, a estadia foi memorável e pensamos voltar. Casa bonita, com excelentes vistas, muito bem enquadrada. Muito confortável com excelente aquecimento. Encontramos facilmente local para almoçar e jantar como reis.

A brilliant stay, very comfortable peaceful house in a private location near to the start of many hiking trails. The pool was fantastic, the lounge and beds were really comfortable and light and airy Great view over the village and valley. Andre was a great host- helped with the route to the house, and sent us individualised walking routes The local restaurant has not yet opened this season but he sent details of one ☝️ n the next village and rang them to check it was open for us. Super voyage, maison magnifique et atypique avec ses belles pierres et un intérieur impeccable. Jardin au top, avec belle piscine reposante. Mention particulière pour le cadre qui est juste magnifique, dépaysant et relaxant. Avec des voisines supers mignonnes 🐑 Nous recommandons vraiment cette maison, et espérons y revenir pour un futur séjour au Portugal! L'hôte nous a également aidé sur les balades à faire et restaurant, merci beaucoup !

Clara’s place was amazing. The house is enormous and so beautiful. Clara was really helpful with all aspects of our stay and was always so responsive when we had any questions. The pictures really don’t do this place justice and as a group of 14, we had an amazing time. As a group our size, we had ample room for a peaceful stay.

We had a wonderful time at Arlindo's house. It is a beautifully restored farmhouse, with a lot of space and a nice swimming pool, which comes in really handy in the summer. The pictures on the website really don't do it justice, it is really luxurious and it is spotlessly clean. Arlindo and his wife check you in and out and are really lovely. Boticas is a small village, although with a nice municipal market where you can stock up on supplies. Although it is not very well explained in local tourism websites, this is a very interesting area, with a very rich pre-roman and roman past. There are several spectacular iron-age hill forts very close by and in the local museum you can see reproductions of the amazing warrior statues that were found in the area. We liked in particular the Carvalhelhos hill fort and the nearby fonte dos amores. I can therefore highly recommend both the property and the area.

Super location to be in nature. Great space for big families or travelling with friends. Odd distribution of the space but comfortable and specious, specially the common areas. Fully stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook. Super friendly owner and neighbours. Would definitely come back.!

Eu tive a oportunidade de ficar na casa do do Souto e posso dizer que foi uma das minhas melhores experiências como hóspede. O anfitrião foi simplesmente incrível, sempre disponível e atencioso, preocupado em garantir que tivéssemos uma estadia confortável e sem problemas. A casa em si é muito acolhedora e possui todas as comodidades que precisávamos. Eu definitivamente recomendo ficar nesta casa e espero poder fazer isso novamente no futuro.

I had a phenomenal week in an empty village, the house was very nice and perfectly located to enjoy a couple of calm days in the nature. I fell in love with the place and sure will be back!

Loved our stay here. Lots for the kids to do, and enjoyed the breakfasts each morning in the garden. The house is gorgeous - lovely old stone and big glass windows. Nice waterfall nearby
