Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Montalegre

We have spent two nights alli and Super well. The bedrooms double bed and with TV in all. The main bathroom very well and with a bathtub, the one in the room with shower, smaller but does its service. The living room with fireplace and also with TV and dining table. The kitchen with several appliances: washing machine, oven and dishwasher, in addition to microwave and some other mini appliance. The house looks smaller but upon entering is very spacious. José the host is very attentive and communicative if you have any questions. Very quiet area. We have been with family and with our dogs and we will definitely repeat if José accepts us! Thank you very much José and good luck! We'll be back!

A brilliant stay, very comfortable peaceful house in a private location near to the start of many hiking trails. The pool was fantastic, the lounge and beds were really comfortable and light and airy Great view over the village and valley. Andre was a great host- helped with the route to the house, and sent us individualised walking routes The local restaurant has not yet opened this season but he sent details of one ☝️ n the next village and rang them to check it was open for us. We had a great time at Fernandes place. The apartment was very comfortable with a big terrace in the sun. And the location is marvelous once you get used to the steep climbs by car... But most of all, Fernández was a very attentfull and friendly host...

Everything was great!

Very nice place to spend a few days with the family. Highly recommended for those with young children. The house was spotless and the outdoor garden is great for spending some quality time. Mr. Vitor was very friendly and always very quick to respond. The check-in and check-out process was very simple and fast. He gave several suggestions of places to go for lunch/dinner or shopping. The house is located in a very nice village and relatively close to other towns/big cities with a lot to do. I recommend it 100% for anyone planning to stay in this area.

In general, everything was very good, good accommodation, very nice host, very good pool, the only thing is that it is in a somewhat difficult area to drive and a little far from the village, in addition to the fact that you have to go a little further than where the location is on the Airbnb maps, but the place is impeccable, the same with the cleanliness, living room with pool and other things, television and air conditioning, everything was perfect.

Casa do Engenho is amazing. So far, the best place my family and I have rented for a 10-day stay. Near Braga, easy to find, beautiful surroundings, quiet and comfortable. We definitely recommend staying. Monica is a great hostess, friendly and always there for you!

We had a very nice and pleasent stay. Rui is a good host who quickly solved any issues that rose. Respones promptly. The apartment was beautiful, clean and very well located. The only downside - street noise can be a bit disturbing for light sleepers.

Lovely property which was quiet and secluded. Facilities and aircon excellent also. If I have any criticism there could have been better communication re fixtures and appliances, bins, recycling, etc. The instruction to access the keys was excellent though not all of us are familiar with electronic gates! The water pressure is not great for showering despite taking it in turns and the toaster tripped the fuse to the whole kitchen on arrival which was interesting trying to find the fuse board to put it right though Rodrigo did respond to our call quickly. On balance a lovely place and would consider visiting again.

We were invited to a wedding at the Quinta Solar da Levado in Amares, Cidalia's house is quite close (8 min) which is rather appreciable in case of fatigue. The house is very large and clean on a double level. A beautiful vegetable/flower garden is nice to enjoy the beautiful weather. Cidalia is very responsive and gives very clear instructions. As a guest, just remember to bring cash to pay the municipal tax.

Nuno’s hospitality is outstanding. The house is very nice and everything you needed was there even the domestic supplies. Really perfect.

We spent 2 excellent nights at Vania's, a small haven of peace and serenity, all crowned with breathtaking views! Thanks to the host's thoughtful touches, such as the fresh bread left in front of the door in the morning. I recommend it without hesitating!

Great, I can say without fear of making a mistake, it's the best place we've ever been to. The house is spectacular, everything is designed to enjoy and to relax and you get it. The pool, whirlpool, ponds and their frogs, billiards, soccer field, etc and all the magical corners of this house. Inside is also great and very comfortable, you can miss some more bathroom in some of the rooms but otherwise it's all fantastic. The host is attentive when you need it but leaves you with the necessary intimacy. In short, a really fantastic experience.
