Amazing location with incredible views. Beautiful property with great interior design and well chosen artwork, sympathetic to the original school. Thanks to Tania and Carla for the care and attention and for the outstanding breakfast each day. And for doing a shop for us on the first day before our arrival. We would definitely recommend the chef at home meal. Great food and service by the guys with traditional Portuguese dishes on offer. Fantastic stay; we didn’t want to leave….ever! Outstanding! The house is renovated and very comfortable, we would have liked to have realized from the description that the outdoor area is far from the house.

Excellent stay for several families with kids. The estate is beautiful and well maintained, the pools are nice to cool off in during a heat wave. The hospitality is perfect. The price in season may be scary at first but the house, the estate and the kindness of the employees justifies it. We'll be happy to go back! Thanks Inès (and Angela)

The view here is incomparable! The views over the Duoro River are amazing. It’s so close to wineries and winery tours too. There’s a supermarket close by with all you’ll need. It was hot the day we arrived and the pool overlooking the valley was pristine and oh so refreshing! Our host did a great job of communicating and made us feel right at home. I could have stayed here a lot longer!

Hands down the best Airbnb we have stayed at! The setting was idyllic - every window looked out over vineyards and fields, the house was immaculate, - comfortable and well-equipped, and the pool was perfect. We are already planning to go back as there is still so much more to explore in the area. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, providing everything we needed for a seamless stay. I couldn’t recommend it more.

This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

We were revived with regional cake made by her and 2 bottles of wine from the region . We felt like home .

Incredible house and host! Loved the area!

Loved it! The apartment was gorgeous, spacious, very clean and in the perfect location overseeing the Douro River. There are several great restaurants, grocery stores and wineries within walking distance. We had everything we needed and a few extras that made our stay even more special. The host was very responsive and checked in with us frequently. I didn’t want to leave!

A big thank you to José and Cecilia for hosting us! Their kindness, their desire to share ... We loved this studio (quite large anyway) perched on the heights with a GREAT VIEW Cecilia's jam, and their porto a delight I highly recommend it for a quiet stay and enjoy the region and its landscapes as it should be!

We were with family and the stay was warm and peaceful. I recommend the location, the house is wonderful and the neighbors are very friendly. It is important, however, to inform that it is necessary to have a vehicle and clarify more clearly that access to them can be challenging , depending on which one it is. The entrance to the house is complicated, because for those who arrive at night is not illuminated and access to the self check in vault is not accessible to outsiders. One of the rooms is more difficult to access, ideal for younger people, but not for visitors with more limitations. Despite the recommendations for improvement, we emphasize the tranquility, the incredible landscape, and the comfort of the house, which is thought in detail. Let's go back! Thank you

Dream house! Quiet and family atmosphere! Sparkling clean space and very friendly, responsive and welcoming hosts! Well-equipped kitchen. A great experience for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Thank you to Elisabete and Mario for their availability and hospitality!

We reserved the space to spend the New Year's Eve between friends, and we took two dogs. The area is beautiful and the reception was wonderful. Cristiana and her family treated us well, and made a point of leaving us at ease, having always been available to help with whatever was needed. The days were cold, but they left us a lot of firewood, which allowed the house to be always warm. On the eve of the New Year's Eve they left us more wine and a freshly made cake. The house was super clean and had everything that was needed. We were very eager to return, thank you for everything!

This place is a dream! If you are coming to portugal this is the perfect little hideaway. Ana Maria made us feel right at home and everything was in perfect condition. We used to stay at Pena Park Hotel which is also great but now that we’ve found Ana Maria’s little heaven, we will look to return whenever we come back to visit my Avô again. Obrigada por tudo Ana! Very nice and cozy space. A perfect place for those looking to rest from the daily grind. The Serra da Cabreira as a backdrop and the sound of nature add the touch for perfect relaxation. We loved the pool, and despite the rain forecast, we were lucky to always have good weather. Raquel and Miguel were great hosts, who made us feel comfortable for any questions and we also thank you for the tips that were given.

Beautifully furnished, clean house equipped with everything you need. The location is extremely quiet so you feel like you are the only house in the area. The complex is very well maintained and the pool is large enough for swimming. Communication with Carla is straightforward and friendly, we always felt we could contact her in case of problems. We enjoyed every second and there is nothing to complain about. If we choose Portugal again, the accommodation and Carla will be our first choice again.

Olivier was a wonderful host, very helpful with recommendations of all sorts (food, trips, events, wine,..) and they even brought me fresh tea (herbs and fruits) from their garden for me to brew! The house itself was spotless, beautifully designed and simply great to be at.

Probably the best hostess on Airbnb! Super friendly and loving, very helpful. We needed a reliable taxi number and Cidalia arranged us, brought us wonderful figs and made us super comfortable. Extremely immaculate House, we will return for sure. I advise a lot for those in need of a getaway from the city and the confusion. Beautiful landscapes and friendly villagers. We feel at home!
