This house is a historic home that was built in 1833 on land owned by Jamison Hamilton, the founder of Darlington. It is not known if he actually lived in the house,but could be assumed. During your stay you will find bits of history and pictures that have been gathered along the way.It has all the comforts of home. A beautiful four bedroom home that has been completely renovated to reflect the old and new times. This home was on the list to be torn down by the city.

Located in a family friendly neighborhood, just a 10 minute walk to downtown where you will find delicious dining, unique shops and historical sites everywhere you turn. We love giving our guest privacy but may run into you as we are enjoying the weather as often as we can with our kids running around enjoying their childhood.

New Glarus is a fun little town close to Madison and alot of other small towns all with in 20 minutes or so including Monroe, Verona, Belleville and Mount Horeb just to name a few. New Glarus has a great recreational trail just 3 blocks for the house. We are walking distance to all the restaurants, bars and shopping. New Glarus is famous for all of their festivals always something going on around town.

Newly renovated, 3-bedroom vacation home located on the Sugar River in downtown Albany. Albany is a quaint little town with a lot to offer. Enjoy tubing/canoeing down the river, a diner, pizza place, Italian restaurant, 3 taverns, and a bowling alley all within the downtown block. With being only 30 miles away from Madison and 17 miles from New Glarus, Albany is a prime location for your stay!
