Vacation rentals with breakfast in Monmouthshire

This place is a gem - a lovely room in a beautiful house, set in green and peaceful surroundings. The room is actually like a small suite, with a sitting area, fridge and kettle and characterful (but low!) beams. It felt quite separate from the house whilst Susan or her family members were very much available if needed. Susan's hospitality was exceptional - she provided excellent recommendations for places to eat & drink and for walks, a superb breakfast and her attention to detail was second to none. Can't praise this listing highly enough!

Emily was super accommodating with my check in being a late one. The room was clean and private and had everything you could need. I didn’t meet Emily due to the short length of my stay but she provided a welcoming experience.

Cathy was a very understanding and accommodating host. We had to get to a nearby wedding venue so allowed us to drop our luggage earlier. She even offered to give us a lift later on in the day. The room was lovely and quiet and the bed was comfortable. There was a variety of cereals on offer at breakfast which was perfectly acceptable. Overall Cathy made our overnight stay very comfortable.

A fabulous stop for the night. The accommodation was beautiful, very comfy, all the amenities needed to a comfortable stay. The hosts were very friendly and inviting. Breakfast hit the spot for the morning before our day of foraging started! Highly recommend. Thank you!

The perfect peaceful stop over. Very convenient for the bus into town and to Cardiff. Also, for walkers who have time, I hadnt appreciated hiw close it is to the the Sirhowy Valley Walk.

A great place for our two night stay in Abergavenny. Very comfortable bed, modern bathroom with a great shower. Edith is a lovely, friendly host and served up a very nice continental breakfast. We would thoroughly recommend Edith's place.

Great location for Golf

The Garden flat is a very clever conversion above a triple garage. Great use of space- beautifully decorated , clean and very comfortable.Had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Lovley touches loke bits for breakfast and fresh flowers from the garden.Very peaceful area. Good clear instructions on how to find the flat. Very friendly and responsive hosts. Would highly recommend.

My week here was fabulous. Lisa is friendly and welcoming. She left us loads of breakfast food including our dietary requirements. She was available should we have needed anything else (we didn’t!). The accommodation was spacious with access to the garden - I sat out there every afternoon after wonderful walks in the nearby hills. A 20 minute walk took us into the centre of the town. I can definitely recommend Lisa’s accommodation, and would stay there again if I return to Great Malvern.

We've just returned from 3 nights at Katrina's place which is absolutely delightful and really can't fault anything. It is bigger than we expected, and quirky ;), private and quiet and a real home from home, with everything you could need and it was exceptionally clean. The goodies were very much appreciated and really added to our stay. The area is gorgeous and right there in the hills, it is a short walk from the highest point. It is a great base from which to walk and explore The Malverns. It was our first time and we were blown away by the 360 degree views on the hills. We were sad to leave as it was such a relaxing and enjoyable break, but hope to be back. Thank you Katrina so being so thoughtful and making our stay so special.

We loved our stay in this studio. It was a lot bigger than we thought, so spacious and airy. The bed comfortably fit in my tall chunky partner, and my big pregnant belly! We slept so well, the duvets were so cozy. The shower was lovely, super hot, powerful, and lots of room. The inclusion of lovely breakfast items was so thoughtful and very welcomed! The host was lovely and responded immediately to any queries. Brilliant location, and parking was easy. Would definitely stay again :)

Completely self contained flat with lots of character. Well away from any road noise and beautiful view. Well appointed facilities - lots of power points and fast wifi. Thoughtful provisions to greet us. Only drawback (not the fault of our host) was poor phone signal in the flat, but slightly better in the car park. A happy stay.

Nina and her husband live next door and are very friendly. Great hosts and gave lovely accurate recommendations for good food, and coffee shops, also directions for local supermarkets. They also welcomed us to use their garden whenever we liked. The studio apartment was clean, and bed was really comfortable and the shower was really good and easy to use. The park across the road is beautiful, lots of trees and plants and streams. We enjoyed our daily walks, having nice chats with dog walkers and families with children. The cafe at the top of the hill, just two minutes drive has stunning views and great coffee. Highly recommend staying here.

Me and my partner stayed here for the night and it was a really lovely, cozy and spacious Airbnb! Richard had provided everything we needed and more! As well as this, it was extremely clean and well decorated. Richard communicated really well, check in and check out was super easy. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking to stay in this area.

Outstanding. We were so fortunate to visit Julies Airbnb. Julie (and Paddy) were so welcoming and the accommodation is exceptional. Julie kindly provided a delicious cream tea and the full english breakfast was undoubtedly one of the best we have ever had. Crickhowell offers so much and our only mistake we made was not to stay for more than one night at Julies. Thankyou so much.

Right from the point of enquiry, Helen made me feel as though I would be very welcome to stay with them. She was very responsive to any questions. Helen and Rick's place was homely, clean and bright and I felt so welcome right from the moment I arrived until departing. I would stay with them again. Thank you both.

We recently stayed in the Red Room and the accomodation was beyond our expectations! The four poster bed was stunning and incredibly comfortable. There was a great variety of delicious breakfast options, along with a range of hot drinks and nibbles including fresh cake and brownies. The location provided us with a great hub for walking in the Wye Valley and Siobhan kindly packed the delicious frittatas we didn't finish for breakfast so we can take them with us! On check in Siobhan was warm and friendly, showing us around the gardens and our room, providing recommendations for local food and activities. We highly recommend this accommodation and hope to come back in the future!

Teona’s Upper Red House is her special home. We were grateful for this experience in her historic farmhouse and site. We woke in cozy soft beds to watch the sun come up in the morning mist on the Welsh landscape. We walked and enjoyed looking through the books she made easily available too. The Upper Red house was a jumping off place for us to Tintern Abbey, Chepstow Castle and St Fagans National Museum of History. We wish we could have stayed longer with Teona. The Brecon Beacons, Cardiff and Caerphilly Castle are within reach too and still on our wish list. Thank you, Teona!

Great Air B&B find. Used as a half way point for mountain biking in the area. Had everything we needed and more. Breakfast was lovely.

Jan and Ray were the perfect hosts in a smart, clean and warm home within the peaceful surroundings of the Wye Valley. Immaculate bathroom, comfy bed with fresh linen and a delicious breakfast. I arrived feeling welcomed and left feeling rested. 10/10!

What a lovely place to stay. Gino and staff made you feel at home from the time you arrive to the time you check out. Great breakfast included. We had evening meal one night which was lovely too. We stayed as we were going to a wedding and what the special touch was we were picked up at the end of the night by one of Gino’s staff. First class. Thank you for a great stay and have already recommended to friends.
