Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Mondello Beach

I stayed 4 days in Agata's house. A wonderful stay. The house is perfect: fresh, quiet, just a 15-minute walk from the beautiful Mondello beach and all the services. Agata is an exceptional host, really attentive and caring. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was super clean, cozy and well equipped. The host was extremely friendly, helpful and gave us valuable tips for the area. The location was perfect – quiet but still central. I felt very comfortable from the first moment and would definitely book here again. Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing place to stay!

Amazing place! It felt like home. Alessandro was very responsive and kind enough to accommodate any of our needs. Pictures show the beauty of the place: nice private terrace, spacious bedrooms and a nice new kitchen. A small bakery and a supermarket just around the corner was a nice benefit. 10min walk to the beach in a safe area. We will definitely come back!

The accommodation is part of a beautiful house with a garden. They separated a part but with independent access and clearly delimited areas. At dawn, only blackbirds, turtle doves and wood pigeons can be heard. Breakfast in the garden is very nice. Cool rooms with very high ceilings. Excellent door and window closures. Kitchen with everything you'll need. It is easily parked at the gate. We felt right at home. Beach five or ten minutes away. Bus stop within 5 minutes. We had a wonderful stay! The view from the villa is absolutely stunning. We were a group of 7 ladies and felt very comfortable throughout our visit. The surroundings are generally nice, although some parts of the nearby public beach were a bit dirty — nothing to do with the villa owners, of course. What we really loved was the terrace — during the day, when it’s incredibly hot, the terrace stays mostly in the shade, which makes it the perfect spot to relax and hang out. Being out in the sun was just impossible, so the shaded space was a lifesaver! The hosts were incredibly communicative and responsive — they replied to any questions within a minute. The only downside was the number of mosquitoes, so it would have been great to get a heads-up about that. I’d recommend bringing some repellent spray. Overall, a fantastic place for a relaxing stay. Paola’s place was wonderful. We felt safe and secure within the building and the surrounding area. Centrally located to everything in the center of Palermo. The rooftop was simply amazing. We used it in the mornings, afternoon and evenings. The apartment is filled with natural light and views. The bed was very comfortable, the linens were of good quality and there was plenty of storage space. Piazza Belini had a lot to offer. 3 churches, the church bakery and music most nights. I highly recommend it. The best rooftop terrace in Palermo. Thank you Paola.

Wow! From the moment we arrived Francesco and Cynthia made us feel welcome, at home and we left feeling like part of their family. The house is absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful, private section with everything we needed - including a lovely outdoor shower, table and chairs. The private pool was perfect for a dip after our day trip to Palermo. It’s just a few minutes walk to the beautiful Mondello beach, and lots of bars and restaurants. They responded to every request immediately - even driving to the supermarket to buy us bottles of water! Cynthia even wrote a plan for us when visiting Palermo - which we used and worked perfectly. We’ll remember this holiday forever because we got engaged on the trip. But also because we met such wonderful people and stayed in such a beautiful home - thank you Francesco and Cynthia! As promised, we will definitely be back one day ❤️

Stefania was an incredible host!! She gave us many recommendations for local restaurants to get the authentic Palermo experience! The beaches nearby were gorgeous. Well worth what we paid, Mondello is a beautiful area. We felt right at home! I wish we could have stayed longer.

Guido and Francesca are exceptional hosts. Francesca met me with the times for both check-in and check-out and was always very responsive and ready to respond to my needs. The house is very clean and in a very quiet and cool area, even on the hottest days the terrace is ventilated and you feel great. I'll definitely be back.

Giovanni was a fantastic host. He accommodated our needs for checkin. The view from the rooms was beautiful and even more beautiful from the outside terrace and rooftop deck it was walkable to so many great restaurants and all that we wanted to see in Palermo. He gave great recommendations and was very responsive if we had questions. The air conditioning worked great and the basket of goodies and water were such a welcome treat to get us started so that we didn’t have to get things after our long flight. Hope we will be back!

Our stay here was absolutely incredible! The apartment itself was one of the most beautiful, updated, and spotless places we’ve ever stayed in. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed, and the space was both comfortable and stylish. The location couldn’t have been more perfect—right in the heart of everything, making it easy to explore the city on foot. From the moment we arrived, Angelo was so kind and welcoming—he took the time to get us fully situated and made sure we had everything we needed. He also gave us some amazing local recommendations which helped us make the most of our time in Palermo. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again!

The apartment is very well located close to Teatro Massimo, and within walking distance to Palermo cathedral and Quattro canti. The apartment is clean and spacious and is an ideal base for visiting Palermo. We would definitely return when if we visited Palermo again.

Not only was it close to the absolute best restaurants, But this was some 5 star living, almost didn’t want to leave this place was so cool! A spa and little hang out up the top and great space to watch tv after a big day of sun. Definitely recommend Palermo staying here!! Couldn’t have done better! Beautiful place to stay! Lovely host!

Giuliana and Roberta are super-friendly hosts who made everything easy for us. The apartment is beautifully presented with a tasteful mix of vintage and modern furniture, very comfortable and with everything we needed. We felt at home straight away. Some great cafes and restaurants just a few minutes walk away, this felt like a very safe neighbourhood. We'd definitely stay here again.

Brigitte’s apartment was wonderful. Located in the historic central area, 3 minute walk to the “heart” of Palermo the Quattro Canto., 7 minutes from Palermo main train station Centrale. Brigitte greeted us at the door. The 1st floor apartment had a balcony on a quiet local’s street that cars weren’t allowed on and which children were playing on. The apartment is on a pretty courtyard with trees and benches. Across the courtyard is a great restaurant that we dined at 2x. Very good food, excellent pizza and prompt friendly service, always busy, mostly tables in the courtyard. Sleeping was nice and quiet. This Airbnb was quite possibly the best appointed Airbnb we have stayed in, and we have stayed in many. Lots of kitchen staples, Nespresso, bottle of wine was left, very comfortable apartment. Would definitely stay here again, and we highly recommend it. Mitchell

We stayed at Lampeduso for 3 nights and it definitely wasn’t long enough. It’s such a great Airbnb in a perfect location. Palermo is such an interesting city, with its mix of cultures and all its gritty charm. The palace was perfect. It rained for two of the days we were there, but because the villa was so fantastic, the weather didn’t affect us at all. The place is huge, with great amenities that made a big difference—washer and dryer for our soaked clothes, umbrellas ready to go, and plenty of space to enjoy a good card game. When the sun did come out, we spent early evenings on the patio next to the pool. Honestly, the villa alone makes us want to return to Palermo.

Fabrizio is an excellent host and a great communicator. Always responds very quickly and is friendly and respectful. Location is excellent and in the middle of the happening area in Palermo yet quiet and off the main road. Well soundproofed doors and windows allow one to sleep in quiet surroundings. Clean, spacious apartment and very good bathroom. Was worth what we paid. Will highly recommend.

I loved my stay! It felt like a home away from home. Close to everything and in such a beautiful part of the city. I really didn't want to leave. The views were stunning from every window and I felt as if I was in the action while enjoying privacy and peace high above the street. Beautifully decorated and sparking clean. Caterina was an amazing host who went the extra mile to accommodate me. I would love to stay again.

The apartment is lovely, looks exactly like the photos. Very nice beds, linen and towels. We were really happy with the place and the perfect location if you want to be in the centre of Palermo. Only issue is the noise. I thought it would be ok since we were there Sunday to Wednesday but it was very noisy every night. Possibly all of central Palermo would have the same problem. Also check the suitability of the stairs and railing if you have small children.
