Very welcoming guest. We felt right at home.

My husband and I immediately fell in love with the villa! The Host Aymen is very Welcoming & was helpful with directions. We had to check in to the maison in the evening & He met w/ us to hand us the keys, no issue, smiling & friendly. He answered any others questions we had. The home is beautifully decorated, along w/charming antique hardware & tilework. Historically built, so the home has many original features but w/ MODERN accommodations!!! The home is walkable to the beach & many restaurants are just a walk in the other direction. The home is immaculately clean. It's the perfect setting for families, friend groups, or married couples on honeymoon! The home sits on a very peaceful CLEAN & safe cobblestone street! It has all the architectural & decorative charm you could ask for of a Tunisian home; The jasmine flowers in the indoor patio make the entire home smell lovely. The garden is breathtaking & great space for outdoor entertaining! We'll be back!

Stayed a week and it went mostly well - I had a couple issues that Oussema was able to quickly solve or advise me on. One was that it was a bit tricky getting hot water from the shower, but he let me know what to try to fix it. The only problem I had that couldn't be quickly adjusted was that the neighborhood was a bit noisy, but some of that was probably temporary (sounded like some renovation was going on). I wouldn't have spent as much time in the apartment to notice if the weather hadn't turned out to be a bit cold and rainy, so ultimately wouldn't be a big deal for most travelers. The neighborhood has a number of solid restaurants and grocery stores within 5-10 minutes and is otherwise close to a major street with lots of options. It is a bit far from the Sousse Medina, but it's about a 5-6 dinar taxi ride to get there (e.g. the Ribat) which is not bad at all.

Lovely villa right next to the beach with beautiful views of the sea. The rooftop is a stand out, and the barbecue in the back garden was amazing for cooking all the fresh seafood you can find in the local fishmongers. Do bear in mind that during Ramadan, Hergla restaurants aren’t really open even for dinner, so come ready to cook (supermarkets, greengrocers, butchers etc open as normal). Maher is a great host and very responsive.

Excellent communication with the host. We were always asked about our well-being and tips for restaurants and the like were also given. Clean apartment and great stay. Some restaurants and cafes are within walking distance. Bus stop practically outside the door. The only negative point is unfortunately the nearby beach, which stinks of sewage and unfortunately is also very dirty, which is typical for Tunisia.

We spent 1 week at Catherine's and the place is exactly as advertised. The interior is a little old-fashioned in its style but we didn't mind, we felt like we were on vacation in a family home. Everything is very spacious, the kitchen is well-equipped to cook small dishes "like at home". Special mention for the garden where we enjoyed having breakfast among the beautiful lemon trees. The location is on a quiet street but very convenient to have a bakery, grocery stores and greengrocers nearby and just a little further a dairy with very good cheese. The sea is just a 15-minute walk away with pretty spots to discover, wilder than closer to the center of Monastir. If you are looking for a quiet place to spend time living to the Tunisian rhythm, this is the right place, which is also very good value for money. Mehdi was there when we needed it.

Hi, Just would like to thank Madam Rkj, All went well .. we feel amused , relaxed .. we profited well from the beach and the swimming pool. It is not a fancy place but very practical, clean, charming (typique) , well located and mostly very secured. as well nice neighborhood.. Great place for vacation with family.. 100% Looking forward to get back there soon.. already missing the place. thank you for all.

The apartment was perfect, clean, quiet. A small park just downstairs that delighted my son. The pools were not functional but out of season so normal. We had a great time in Avignon! Plan to use a car because there's not much around but it allows you to be quiet. Thank you for everything! A property to remember. 😁

A great stay in this clean and spacious apartment! Everything is well equipped, perfect for a comfortable stay. The BBQ and pool add a real plus, great for enjoying it to the fullest. Hana is a really exceptional host, very helpful and in addition to great kindness. I highly recommend it!

It was a very nice stay again. Everything you need. You feel very comfortable right away. There is a café and restaurants in the surrounding area. You only have to cross the street to get to the sea. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment.

Mondher's home is beautiful, large, clean and in the perfect location! Mondher and Mouna were wonderful. Very kind people, as is their entire family. Very helpful, thoughtful and generous. Thanks so much for the water, the fruit, all the food, and for such amazing service. It's a huge apartment with a comfortable bed, lots of light, a nice breeze every day, wonderful balcony off of the large kitchen. Just perfect! I highly recommend this wonderful home. You can walk to everywhere you would want to go. Really a great comfortable stay. Thanks so much!

This is a lovely apartment, clean, well equipped and nicely furnished. It is a 20 minute walk into the medina, and there are restaurants and shops nearby. Happy to recommend.

I had a pleasant stay with my host. The apartment is very well located between the historic city center and Kantaoui port where there are very good restaurants and a beautiful beach for outdoor activities. The level of comfort and cleanliness of the apartment was perfect and no complaints..... to try without hesitation and I will probably come back in the near future. Location number 1 for this very well furnished studio with very comfortable furniture! You can do everything on foot, 2 steps from the beach and marina! A beautiful terrace with stunning views of the gardens! It's always a pleasure to stay there.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, spacious and modern apartment, which is located in a new and secure building and a nice area. Everything was clean and tastefully decorated. When we arrived, the tables were were set and small snacks, juice and chocolates were provided. The apartment was generously equipped with everything you need and offered all the amenities for a comfortable stay. The communication with the owner was very good, he was very friendly and replied quickly. The check-in and check-out went smoothly, we were welcomed by the host‘s father, who was also very kind and welcoming. The only small downsides were that it was a bit loud at times (traffic noise because the apartment is facing the street and is located right next to a mosque) and that the bathroom was a bit small. Other than that, it was the best apartment we ever stayed at in Sousse and we can highly recommend it!
