Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Modum Municipality

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

Communication with the host is very smooth and quick. The scenery around the accommodation is nice, and the amenities are very well equipped. It's near the end of the bus line, so transportation is good and the mart is close, so I highly recommend it.

We stayed here for 2 days … the location near by sea 100 meter walkable distance to the beach.. place is very good.its 30 minutes by car to reach city center…if u r looking for stay out of city this is the best place..

We loved our stay! It was a great location to experience the tranquil countryside (especially in the snow! 🤩) Our children loved sledging etc and it felt like a home from home as well as being a 45min drive from Oslo. Lots of other places to explore from here too. The house is cosy and had everything we needed. The washing machine was very handy too! Thank you again for being such friendly hosts

We had a wonderful stay at Julia’s place. The house is beautifully designed, spotless, and feels just like home. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and BBQs, and our kids loved exploring the nearby forest and relaxing by the bonfire. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway and scenic hikes. Sadly, the weather kept us from using the kayak and SUP, but we still had a great time. Highly recommended!

Very pleasant stay with Ingar. Ingar was very helpful and hospitable. We felt right at home. The cozy living room with fireplace, the sauna by the river and the canoes are absolute highlights. Perfect for a few days to unplug.

There were 3 of us staying there from Sunday to Thursday. A comfortable stay with everything we needed. Would recommend!

I highly recommend Mette's place, it very spacious with everything you could want. Mette is generous, kind and always ready to help. The view from the balconies is outstanding. if you are walking, it is 20mins from the train station and 10mins is uphill. Also you are in the middle of a 3 story building, and sometimes you will hear people walking around upstairs. Neither of these worried us, I only mention this in passing. They in no detracted from our experience. 5 stars all round. Thank you Mette.

Great apartment, good location without any noise from the rest of the city. Kristoffer was very nice and always responded quickly and was very helpful. Highly recommend this apartment.

This home smells delicious and is incredibly pretty. Wonderful use of wood materials. Lovely garden. Al and Ingrid were really nice hosts. My youngest even got to feed the hens in the garden. It was a big deal. Thank you very much for your stay. Highly recommend!

The host provided us with all the information we needed. Super location and nice apartment. Clean, all the kitchenware you need and enough towels and soaps, etc. Great!

Great stay in a great location! The apartment had everything we needed. With a very short way to the ski slope, the kids could run a little alone in the plate lift right next door, while we adults dressed and got ready for the day. Short driving distance to the grocery store We had a great time and would love to come back!

great location but quiet. Comfortable beds (that's always important). it even has a dishwasher and washer/dryer.

Marie is a great host who was extremely helpful with everything. The apartment is in a good area, close to Holmenkollen so you could walk there. But also the subway was around the corner to easily get to. Great with parking and possibility to charge the car! Appreciated! Recommend.

Fantastic place. Idyllic location by the Steinsfjord. Cozy cabin with a little more modern Annex. Waking up in the Bedroom at Annex with Large Window/door right out towards the fjord was great. The only downside was that you had to bring bed linens and clean up after yourself. Slightly unfamiliar from past experiences with Airbnb. But Host luckily informed about this before we left home. Would like to have a trip back later:)

Simply my favourite Airbnb. Nora’s place is the perfect Norway getaway, lakeside cabin - full of charm, taste, comfort, and warmth. The view is stunning. The nearby hotel has a great gym and spa too. Nora was so, so helpful!The absolute dream! Thanks so much Nora.

Idyllic, peaceful and lovely place. Screened from the road and other cabins, really nice fenced plot that borders the water with cozy patio down by the water's edge. Space-efficient cabin, fresh bedroom on the main level with good beds. Good with battery powered lamps/light sources. Here both children and adults cost themselves, we would love to come back!

Thank you for the loan of the cabin. Very cozy place, just walking distance from parking lot. Peaceful and warm around the cabin, the kids had a great time:) Surprisingly nice outhouse. Nice hiking opportunities from the cabin and fishing luck in nearby water. Fun :) All the equipment we needed was in the cabin, and it was easy to pick up more wood. We will be back :D

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin! It was idyllically located, was neat and cozy, and gave us just the break from the city we needed at Easter. Entry via lockbox was super easy, and Hanne always responded quickly and kindly to questions. Highly recommend the cabin! :-)

I have to admit: the road up to Kristin’s hut can be quite adventurous – if it’s rainy and you’re not driving an off-road car – but it’s definitely worth it! Both the view (if you’re lucky) and the house are an absolute dream! We had the whole place to ourselves and loved the peace and quiet up on the hill in this lovely, remote area. The house is extremely cozy – especially with its fireplace and the cave-like bedroom with a view. It’s fairly small, yet the space is used well, so it doesn’t feel small at all. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the solar-powered electricity (plus gas) is enough for all the essentials. We honestly didn’t miss anything – on the contrary, we loved the simplicity (along with the coziness and functionality) of it all. Exactly the kind of place that makes you reconnect with nature and with yourself. Easily could have stayed longer. Thanks, Kristin, for sharing this precious haven with other people who hopefully all appreciate it as much as we did!

Fantastic location and beautiful view! Quiet and peaceful. Google Maps wanted us to go somewhere else, so the written directions helped a lot.
