Cabin without electricity and running water/drainage. Take a trip to Svingom on Holleia. Here you will have a cozy cabin with simple standards! In winter we recommend to bring your own duvet or sleeping bag as there are only summer duvets in the cabin! If you pay a fishing license in the barrier, you have access to fishing in all waters! Possibility of kilos fish in forest waters around. Holleia offers amazing hikes for those who want to walk short and far. Skiing opportunities right outside the cabin when there is enough snow! You are very welcome!

Possibility of swimming and fishing in Tyrifjorden Especially suitable for family with kids. Many interesting sights can be reached with an hour's drive : Modum's blue color scheme with the Cobalt Mines, Vikersundbakken, Kongsberg with the Silver Mines, museums. There is a golf course in Sylling (Holstmark - about 14km ) About 70 km to Oslo - 1 hour drive.

Kitchen for cooking and seating. Living room with TV and fireplace. Bathroom with shower. 2nd floor: 1. Master bedroom with large double bed, space for extra bed and cot. 2. Large bedroom with small double bed, space for extra bed and cot. 3.Trapper room with day bed, pull-out for double bed. Bathroom u/shower, 2 stalls. Made beds. Purchasing food by appointment.

Lovely cabin

Forget the worries, enjoy long lovely days in this lovely cottage by beautiful Tyrifjorden. Here you are vacationing both rural and central at the same time. Oslo 40 min away, the fjord on the plot, golf course 5 min away and not to mention Krokskogen with lovely ski slopes, hiking and biking trails! The cabin is newly rehabilitated and is a great custom to come back to after active days out. No water! Drinking water comes in cans (arranged by host), water for washing is collected in the fjord. Incineration toilet. Dock broken

Lovely location at Øverby Gård. The most beautiful sunsets you can see here , 5 min to the water for swimming and fishing , floods with hiking trails and opportunities for bicycle/kayaking/fishing . Internet . 10 min to Norway's most beautiful golf course 18 holes Storøya. 5 min to shop by car . Mini kitchen and fridge for own cooking. own bathroom in barn next to the cabins. unique animals on the farm ,eggs from hens on the farm. Is especially suitable for a couple with a small child ,or an adult and two children

An idyllic and quiet spot in the forest

Enjoy nature in this beautiful, quiet place! There is no electricity. Fresh water from a new well. Poor phone signals and zero wifi! This is perfect for a digital detox! This is a place for pure relaxation. The climbing park HøytogLavt Modum and Blaafarveværket are just a few minutes away by car. The place used to house workers from the cobalt mines. The mines is now a museum that can be visited during summer. Approximately 40 min drive to Drammen and 75 min to Oslo.

We had such a wonderful stay here. The house is stunning, had everything we could need and the hosts were lovely. They helped with local recommendations as well as making sure we had all the information we needed for the house. Not to mention the gift of some mixture for us to make traditional waffles! The train station is just a few minutes' walk. The kids particularly loved the pool and table tennis table, and I really enjoyed the beautiful walks that are possible from the property. All in all a five star stay.

Communication with Malin was excellent with her prompt responses & check-in was easy. The Airbnb is spotlessly clean, spacious & offers a stunning view of the surroundings. The kitchen is well-equipped with appliances that we need for preparing meals. Much appreciated is the availability of car charging-very convenient. We had a wonderful 2 night stay. Highly recommended.

I was there for 5 weeks. The view is very nice and you have your privacy. On foot you can get to a large shopping center quite quickly, there is everything your heart desires. In general, you can get by very well on foot. I didn't test the public transport. The host is very friendly and easy to talk to. He had offered to take me on a hike, which I also enjoyed. He gave plenty of tips on what to do in the area but also tips for longer trips. All in all, a very great 5 weeks.

We loved our stay! It was a great location to experience the tranquil countryside (especially in the snow! 🤩) Our children loved sledging etc and it felt like a home from home as well as being a 45min drive from Oslo. Lots of other places to explore from here too. The house is cosy and had everything we needed. The washing machine was very handy too! Thank you again for being such friendly hosts

We had a short but very nice stay in the apartment. Beautiful view, close to lots of nature experiences and good standard of equipment/apartment. Somewhat spartanly decorated living room, but it made it easy to clean. Recommended.
