It is an old house built over 100 years ago, like a Kyoto townhouse, located on the Otaki-jo Castle Town Street, called Koedo in Boso. Otaki Castle (one of the Tokugawa Ieyasu Shitenno Honda) and nationally designated important cultural properties are preserved, and the old castle town, which is rare in Chiba, spreads nostalgia. Otaki shirobamboo shoots are famous for being less bitter, and the best time to eat them is from late March to late April.(Looks like it will be after the start of April this year.) It is less than 1 hour by car from Haneda Airport and 1 hour and 10 minutes by car from Narita Airport.
