A few minutes to shops, bus, sports field, skatepark, basketball court, golf course, Hafjell, Hunderfossen and Lilleputthammer. Many different charging stations for electric cars nearby. Welcome to Fjellstua in Nes municipality – a charming cottage from 1927, located high and free and in the immediate vicinity of nature. The property is about 6 km from Årnes city centre, where you will find a train station and most service offerings. Right outside the door you will find a large forest area (approx. 10 km²) with both marked and unmarked hiking trails. Here you can pick blueberries, cranberries and chanterelles in season – and we have left berry pickers for free use. ** PLEASE NOTE - The cabin is closed for the winter until Easter 2026 **

This offgrid cabin is placed on small mountain with stunning view. It is 25 km from Oslo and 6 km to the nearest bus station. This is an offgrid house with no public water or electricity system. Water comes from private well (120 meters) and electricity is from solar-panel (4800 watt=solar panel and 50 Kwh of batteries).
