Live in a converted stabbur and enjoy the idyll at the height above Mjøsa. The stabbur stands on a small farm that now only houses one couple of horses and cats. The staff room consists of two floors which are connected by a relatively steep staircase. The first floor consists of kitchen and bathroom, while the combined living room and bedroom with double bed and sofa bed is upstairs. TV is inlaid, while wifi does not exist as of today. Come and live in a transformed storehouse on a small farm. The house contains two storages that is combined with rather step stairs.

An hour's drive from Lillehammer, Viken Fjellgård is idyllically located by the lake Espedalsvatnet. With us, our guests can use our two boats, and canoe freely, or enjoy themselves on the pier with swimming, fishing, fire pan and food. You can go on a mountain hike right from the farm, stroll in the forest, or walk on the trails around the water. In late summer and autumn it is nice to pick mushrooms and berries. It is a 5 min drive to the high mountains, and it is only 45 min drive to Jotunheimvegen and Jotunheimen's beautiful surrounding area.

Unique location by Randsfjorden and the wonderful nature. Here you can recharge your batteries and take part in all the sights and activities for big and small that are nearby. You come to ready-made beds, as well as towels. I'll do the laundry after you check out. But remember to wash up. The cottage consists of a living room/kitchen with sofa bed (140 cm) as well as a large bedroom with a continental bed (180 cm) and a sofa bed (160 cm). There is an outhouse, as well as a shower in the form of a bathroom in Randsfjorden. Welcome!

You sleep in the living room (there is no separate bedroom), there is a double bed. The Stabburet is part of a farm that has been significantly upgraded in recent years and offers accommodation, participation in growing vegetables. Events are held from time to time. Great hiking areas. Rental of 2 electric bikes as well as 2 kayaks.

Approx. 25 min. by car to Lillehammer city centre. (14 km) 30 min to Hafjell and Hunderfossen. If you want to go skiing in the mountains, it is about 15 mins. by car to Fåberg Vestfjell. The farm is about a 15 minute drive by car to the city, Elverum. A grocery store is about 13 minutes away. You should have a car to stay with us. You will find an operating farm, with tractor driving at times but also silence, nature, trees, fields and forest as neighbors. Occasionally you can see moose and deer on the land. Occasionally, it's the northern lights!

This was a wonderful place to stay. An authentically historic home with the beauty of old wood, the original large pine table and working old hearth. Yet it had all the comforts we expect and was spotlessly clean. There were several additional historic buildings on the large working farm. The view from the dining table and either porch is breathtaking. Best for us was Inga’s exceptional friendliness and the invaluable help she gave us in tracking down information on local family heritage. A reminder to bring your own shower toiletries. Exceptional place to stay!

We had an amazing time! The accommodation is warm, super well-equipped, we did not lack anything, The exterior is beautiful and peaceful!! Thank you for everything!

Henning is a very nice host. We felt very comfortable. Anyone who reads the listing carefully will not be disappointed. For me, at a height of 191 cm, the doors were already very small. I hit my head hard twice. After that, I knew the height. Gala is a dream for cross-country skiing. If you like something special, Henning's house is just right.

Thorild and Terje were incredibly welcoming and warm. The house had fantastic views and there was a silence here that gave soul rest. The children of 3 and 7 years of age had a great time and loved being able to go to the goats that grazed right behind the house or down to greet the horses. We took a beautiful walk around the plot that led us to a large lake where it was nice to sit down to enjoy the lunch package. I can highly recommend this place.

We spent 3 days in Heges cozy accommodation and had a really great stay. Everything you need is there, the surroundings are super quiet and close to nature, Hege always responded quickly and very friendly - it was perfect! We were there with our son (14 months) and our dog and can confirm that the apartment is very suitable for both. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back😊

Nina is a very lovely host. She responds immediately and helped us with finding activities and things to do in the area. She also invited us over for some mulled wine and prepared a bonfire for us. The view from the house is amazing, the interior is cosy, perfect for a cosy getaway

We had a great stay. The apartment offers plenty of space, a well-equipped kitchen and a great view. Lise was always available and quickly helped us. The cross-country ski trails are within walking distance. Everything was great for us. We would definitely come back.
