The cabin is located on Viken Fjellgård, one hour from Lillehammer, right by idyllic Espedalsvatnet, 720 meters above sea level, and Langsua National Park. Here, you can find peace and quiet, swim, paddle, visit mines, or go on walks. It is a short distance to the highlands, where there are many hiking opportunities, or you can walk from the farm along the water, on trails through forests and fields. There is a cozy outdoor area with a fire pit on the dock by the boathouse, and there is a swimming beach on the other side. Our guests can use our two boats and canoe freely, and we lend out two fishing rods.

Historic house in rural surroundings

Located in the village of Vest-Torpa 15 km from Landsbyen Dokka, Synnfjell 22 km. The house has a small living room with sofa and chairs. Kitchen with chairs and tables. Bedroom in the chamber set with double bed and a single bed. Two bedrooms on the 2nd floor with double beds. Curtains between rooms. Old beds, L 190. Upgraded with a 7 cm top mattress. Nice outdoor area. Games and seating. Local store 100 m. Ski out and ski in, illuminated cross-country ski trail, which is lit from dusk until 10 pm every day and about 40 km of groomed trails. Simple standard.

Welcome to the Viking farm Sygard Listad. Here you live on historic grounds. The Viking king Olav the Holy lived here in 1021, to prepare the battle against the king of Gudbrandsdalen. This happened during the Christianization of Norway. On the farm you will find the holy well "Olavskilden". Driving distance to Oslo is 250 km and the same to Trondheim. Here you can go skiing in Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Gålå, Jotunheimen National Park or Rondane. In summer you can see Peer Gynt, go on a musk ox safari or a day trip to Geiranger.

Fantastic location with unobstructed views of Norway's largest lake, Mjøsa. 30 minutes from Oslo Airport, Gardermoen and approx. 50 minutes from Oslo city center. You sleep in the living room (there is no separate bedroom), where there is a double bed. Stabburet is part of a farm that has been significantly upgraded in recent years and offers accommodation, participation in the cultivation of vegetables. Events are held from time to time. The farm is located about 10 km from the center of Lillehammer(not walking distance)with a great view of southern part of Lillehammer. The apartment is on the top floor of the main house and contains 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with bunk bed, 1 bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, dining room with sleeping alcove and a large living room where some space can be converted into a sleeping alcove. There are opportunities to make use of the garden and outdoor area. We have 6 chickens and 2 cats.

The summer barn at Hovelsrud, Helgøya

The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquility of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside there is a bedroom and an open living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach with swimming opportunities and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.

Come and stay in an old traditionally farmhouse for employees at a Norwegian farm in Noresund, 100 km and approximately 90 minutes drive from the city-center of Oslo. Two hours and 155 km drive from Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL). This is in the heart of the Norwegian fairytale tradition. It is about 450 meters from the lake and 10 minutes drive from the ski slopes of Norefjell. The high mountains of Norway starts here. The trolls are in the woods just behind the cabin. They are all nice.
