The place is best suited for 2 adults, or a family with 2 smaller children. The house is located in the courtyard, but still shielded. There is a short walking distance to Mjøsa, you can stroll down in 5 minutes. There you can swim. The Pilgrim's Way goes right past the yard, and there are many other nice hiking opportunities by bike and on foot.

A five-minute walk along a pleasant hiking trail leads to the main street in Lillehammer, the same to the station. Sjusjøen is 20 minutes by car. The apartment is on the top floor of the main house and contains 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with bunk bed, 1 bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, dining room with sleeping alcove and a large living room where some space can be converted into a sleeping alcove. There are opportunities to make use of the garden and outdoor area. We have 6 chickens and 2 cats.

If you cross the road you come straight to a beautiful park area by the lake, Næra. Here you can fish, swim or realax and enjoy the sunset. We also offer our guests kayak and canoes to rent for free. In Næroset it is also great opportunities for outdoor hiking and cross country skiing in the winter. Only 20 minutes away is Sjusjøen
