Stay in a converted barn and enjoy the idyll in the hills above Mjøsa. The old barn is located on a small farm that now only houses a couple of horses and cats. The storehouse consists of two floors that are connected by a relatively steep staircase. The 1st floor consists of a kitchen and bathroom, while the combined living room and bedroom with double bed and sofa bed are upstairs. TV is installed, while wifi is not available as of today. Come and live in a transformed barn on a small farm. The house contains two storages that are combined with rather steep stairs.

Ice hockey hall and handball hall (Storhamar) about 2 km. The studio is just as suitable for you who are studying, as for you who are going to Hamar on other occasions. The studio is equipped with a bed (150 cm) and WiFi. The place has no kitchen, but there is a kettle, fridge and microwave. We have Furuberget as the closest neighbor with nice hiking opportunities.

Good place also for families with older children/groups of up to four people, two of whom are mobile enough to use the stairs up to the sleeping loft. There are plenty of hiking tracks in the forest, and we have two bikes for rent so you can explore the countryside roads. Storsjøen is a large lake great for fishing both in the summer and winter. In the summer, you can take the river down to the village of Skarnes, situated on Norway's longest river Glomma. We have a boat, a canoe and a kayak for rent.

The hut is located off the main road. In the village, there is a hotel with dinner and a ski rental with a small kiosk/café during the ski season from Christmas to Easter. Outside the season, it is very quiet in the village. Bus stop towards Lillehammer is 500 meters away. Driving time to the city is 25 minutes.

As you can see the pichtures show you two cabins, built together. The new cabin have two bedrooms, bath and a smal kitchen. Separate toilet. The old cabin has tow rooms one a bedroom , the other a living rom. The furniture is old in this rom , and has some old paintings as well. There are a stove to make it warm, nice and cosy. Firewood for free. There are plenty of space to sit outside, in wintertime this is on the starting place for Birken skirace. 3km from Rena.
