My apartment is quiet and safe but only 2 blocks from Castro Neighborhood, full of restaurants,bars and MUNI/Metro (the public transport) which puts you downtown in 15mins. If you like walking, its 30mins to Haight-Ashbury, Fillmore, Hayes Valley or the Mission. Its so central, you wont feel isolated here! And you get killer views overlooking the city and bay.
