A Perfect San Diego Coastal Getaway! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Carl's beach home in the Pacific/Mission Beach area, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charming beach cottage. The decor is super cute, combining cozy beach vibes with modern comforts, making it feel like a home away from home. The location couldn't be better! Just a short stroll from the beach, we enjoyed daily walks along the shore and stunning sunsets. The nearby restaurants and shops added to the convenience, making it easy to explore the local scene. Carl was an exceptional host, providing us with all the information we needed for a smooth stay. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. If you're looking for a perfect beach getaway, I highly recommend Carl’s beach home. This was our second stay at this apartment, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. We love being so close to the beach and within easy walking distance of Ocean Beach. For week-long visits, having a well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to cook a few meals at home. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and having access to a washer and dryer is a huge plus. We will stay here again on our next trip to San Diego.

Glenna and Bill were as wonderful as their home. Spacious 3br for the bayfront! Truly, on the water, and with four little kids it was so nice to have the beach out your front door. Their patio is also one of the best on the bay with ample space and seating. We enjoyed meals out there and sitting back in the rocking chairs after tucking the kids in.

Great condo, with incredible views. Very well kept, and very close to everything in Mission Beach. Would definitely choose this place in the future.

GREAT location and host. Has all amenities needed for a getaway. The parking spot was taken, but thankfully we found close street parking. Would stay again!

Great location on Mission Beach. Emmy's book of local suggestions was great for finding good food in the area. Centrally located to all different San Diego attractions which was great. Loved the beach being right outside the door as well as the ability to walk all around Mission Beach. My family and I even walked to Pacific beach. Emmy was wonderful with checking in on my family. I would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Nicklas’s place in San Diego! The condo is beautifully renovated and right on the waterfront—waking up to those ocean views was such a treat. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with everything we needed, making our stay super comfortable and convenient. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making the space feel like a true home away from home. We would absolutely love to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend! The host, Doug, is very responsive and helpful. The place is clean and spacious, with a great view, great location, tons of empty drawers, shelves, cabinets to unpack everything you want. Use of half a secured garage was key for us as we had very expensive race bikes to work on and store while not riding/training/racing. If you're a casual cyclist there are 4 recreational bikes in the garage for guest use. And boogey boards. Plus a separate covered parking space. And it's reasonably priced. Nothing negative to say about this home. Thank you, Doug!

Amazing stay at ocean front with wonderful, long walkable sandy, clean beach bellow. The location is amazing, short drive to variety of restaurants. Having well equipped kitchen in this spacious, comfortable condo was wonderful. We loved to watch sunset, relaxed and comfy on the private porch. The owner was very responsive and helpful, addressing all of our needs. It was a memorable stay and we are looking forward to be back.

It with a beautiful home with a beautiful view ! Close to papas and beer & surrounding bars and clubs. Will definitely book again! The only thing was that the GPS doesn’t take you directly there but the host responded quickly and was able to help find the way! Definitely recommend😊

Perfectly located on a quiet street with convenient access to the highways and a gorgeous view of a nearby beach. The condo was exactly as described, spacious, clean, fully equipped and the parking garage was an added plus. We were in town for a wedding and did not have a chance to use the pool area but it was an absolute joy to see the ocean each morning from the balcony. It was a great stay and we hope to return!

Amazing location and access to the beach. The unit had everything we needed for our family to enjoy a weekend including a fully stocked kitchen, beach gear and extra towels. We would recommend to anyone looking for a simple and beautiful stay in Carlsbad.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful beach bungalow in Del Mar! The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach and local amenities. The bungalow itself was immaculately clean and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. Highly recommend!

We were in town for a wedding. Even though we spent little time at the apartment, it was very accommodating and well appointed for our trip. Love that area so much. We loved being able to take walks to the beach, parks and dining. Gina was great! Very responsive and accommodating.

We had a fantastic stay in unit 4! You absolutely cannot beat the location and having parking included is incredibly convenient. The unit itself looked just like the pictures and it was very clean. We enjoyed having a full kitchen as we visited the farmers market on State Street (open on Wednesday afternoons) and purchased snacks and items to make breakfast each morning. We're already planning our next trip back and will book this location!!

The place is fantastic! We have stayed a couple of times. Short walk to the beach, the bay, parks and restaurants! Everything is clean. The hosts are very responsive. Highly recommend staying here.

The Airbnb was very clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic! Great communication from the Airbnb host. Would recommend using Google maps to find the condo since Apple maps takes you to the alleyway. The master bedroom on the third floor is significantly hotter than the other rooms, even with the AC on, but it wasn't terrible.

We had an amazing time during our recent stay! Having the sliding glass doors opened and sitting out on the patio with the amazing view was the best part of our stay! The place is compact but has everything you need, not a ton of bathroom privacy FYI, but we made it work. Communication was amazing and lightening quick. We also loved that bike & beach gear rental was included. High walkability to bars, shops, and restaurants! Just book it!

This is one of the best (maybe the absolute best) airbnbs I've stayed at. The location is even better than it looks in the photos. The perfect soft sand beach on the bay side is nice, and it's way quieter than the ocean side. But the ocean side is just a short walk. Blue Water took amazing care of us - with a great gift basket, responsive maintenance, and lots of check in communication. I will 100% try to stay here every time I come to San Diego!

Beautiful home, easily accommodated our family of 11, access to the beach was undeniably perfect for paddle boarding (we had our own), lounging, football and just spending time together. We were attending a family member's memorial service so it was an important time to be together rather than a hotel stay. The only draw back was parking...we have a large SUV and while the garage was plenty large enough for 2 vehicles, access between the buildings made it impossible to park our vehicle. There is a free public parking lot .7 miles away at Santa Clara point, which we used. It is a 10 minute walk or 5 minute car ride. We had another small vehicle which we were able to use as a shuttle. The parking situation would not be enough to deter me from renting again as the house is lovely, it was just a small speed bump that we needed to work out. Definitely enjoyed the welcome gift :)

Great place - location of beach and park next door was perfect. Very responsive communication and friendly maintenance team to address normal “stuff”. Well stocked basic items and nice, modern working appliances. Kitchen well stocked too. Unique wide opening windows feel like the outside is inside. Lots of places to play or relax, which does invite late night activities near the home. All good except when sleeping. Once windows closed it’s quiet. Weekdays were very slow and quiet. Weekend had activity past 1am. Felt safe the whole time. Overall we would come back.

My family and I couldn't be happier with our stay! The place and location were absolutely beautiful. The home had everything we needed, which was super helpful as we came from the other side of the country. Not needing to stress about having enough towels, laundry soap, and other every day items were a giant relief. There were a couple hiccups with the place, like the tv's missing the remotes. But Bluewater's team were right there to take care of it as soon as we called. If we ever find ourselves back in the area, we know where we will be staying!
