Naast ons monumentale boerderij op het erf, staat dit kleine onderkomen om eenvoudig en niet te duur in te overnachten. Sanitair en een gemeenschappelijke ruimte bevinden zich in de boerderij. Het erf grenst aan het landgoed Nienoord. Hier kun je wandelen en fietsen. Het dorp is op 2 minuten loopafstand. Een dorp waar je heerlijk kunt winkelen en 's avonds keuze hebt uit meerdere restaurantjes. De stad Groningen is met de auto op 15 min afstand/fiets 1 uur en met het openbaar vervoer 20 min.

You are welcome to stay at 't Beschilderde Huis and follow creative language lessons ( English, Italian, Dutch) or simply enjoy the artistic/homely atmosphere. Guests have their own entrance, bathroom and kitchenette. Jo often provides breakfast and/or eveningmeals. Cost not included, but by no means a 'must'. Groningen is a 15km bikeride and at 3km walk from the house there is a good busconnection. We appreciate good communication before accepting requests.

Gastenverblijf "De Bisschops' Stee"

Ons woonhuis is een voormalig bedrijfspand en had nogal wat ruimte over. Waar voorheen de winkel-/kantoorruimtes met klantentoilet waren, hebben wij in het najaar van 2019 een slaapkamer, woonruimte met kitchenette en toilet/douche gerealiseerd. De winkelentree is nu een privé-ingang voor ons gastenverblijf. Ontbijt bestellen is mogelijk, dit is echter niet standaard bij de basisprijs inbegrepen.
