Vacation rentals with breakfast in Midden-Drenthe

I had a lovely stay here! The place was very clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The host is incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly—it truly felt like staying with family. The location is a bit remote, so getting around might be a little inconvenient without a car or detailed planning. But if you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet place with a kind-hearted host, this is a wonderful choice.

Ria is een ontzettend gastvrije host met een erg mooi verblijf. De kamer waarin ik verbleef was erg ruim met een zeer comfortabel bed. ook de badkamer was erg netjes en in de bijkeuken was een magnetron beschikbaar om eventueel een maaltijd ik op te warmen. Ook heb ik gemerkt dat Ria erg flexibel is met het ontbijt. Als je iets niet mag of lust kun je dat bij haar aangeven Verder ligt het huis op loopafstand vanaf een bushalte waardoor het erg goed bereikbaar is. Mocht ik ooit ik de buurt zijn dan zou ik hier zeker nog eens verblijven.

Very friendly hosts and cats. The couple is very open and sweet and Susanna's response time is almost immediate. The beds were comfortable. A clean and comfortable environment :)

Everything about my stay was fantastic from the amazing hospitality of Alfred , my beautiful en-suite room; spotless with everything I needed and the fabulous setting. Highly recommended, this was my first time using Air BnB and I was extremely impressed thanks to Alfred!

Just a one overnight stay en route to Finland, but a lovely visit. Martin is een super aardige host. Gezellig en bracht ons weg naar het restaurant. Na terugkeer in de prachtige tuin gezeten. Na ontbijt weer vertrokken. Goede gesprekken en lekker relaxen.

Een prima plek aan de rand van het dorp. Zalig stil! Eigen ruimte, privé opgang. Goed bed, zitplek, je kunt koffie/ thee maken. Eigen sanitair. Vriendelijke en attente host. Voor herhaling vatbaar

très bon séjour. Hôte super disponible et aimable, tjs prêt à aider. lit super confortable. Gde sdb avec produits à disposition. excellent petit-déj. et très varié. Je recommande. Juste, le no de la maison devrait être plus visible car nous sommes arrivés de nuit.

Met mijn dochter van 10 een nacht hier geslapen. Leuke plek om even samen te zijn en alles aanwezig! De trap naar boven is wel flink, maar dit staat duidelijk in de omschrijving dus dit wisten we. Tineke was zo lief om te helpen met onze bagage aangezien ik zelf met een kruk loop. Wij waren positief verrast!

Our stay in Giethoorn was absolutely perfect! The little inn we chose was cozy, spotless, and everything we could have hoped for. The location was right on the canal, making it incredibly easy to take the boat out and explore the serene waterways. While the area is quieter in winter, that only added to the charm, creating a peaceful and intimate atmosphere. The highlight of our stay was the incredible hospitality. Our host went above and beyond, preparing delicious and varied home-cooked breakfasts each morning. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the clean and well-equipped kitchen (where my girlfriend and I enjoyed cooking dinner each night) to the excellent water pressure and warmth of the shower—something you truly appreciate during colder months. This was more than just a stay; it was an experience. The warmth, cleanliness, and attention to detail made it feel like a home away from home. We can’t recommend this place enough and look forward to our return!

Het appartement voldoet aan alles wat wij nodig hadden voor een zakelijke overnachting. Prima bedden met extra dekens. Parkeerplek aanwezig en goed ontbijt. Martha is heel flexibel, wij kwamen veel later aan dan verwacht. Was geen probleem.

Verrassend ruim appartement, gezellig ingericht met goed bed, lekkere douche en een keuken met alles er op en eraan. Hartelijk verwelkomt en 's morgens verwend met een goed verzorgd ontbijt. Het was een heel fijn verblijf!

Een prima verblijf en perfect ontbijt! Een fijn bed en goede douche in een bijzonder sfeervolle woonboerderij in rustige natuurlijke groene omgeving. Iris heeft het prima voor elkaar, communiceert prettig en ik kom heel graag nog eens terug.

Siska was a great host from the beginning, she was very friendly and welcoming! The room is light and spacious and had everything I needed. The house is not too far from the city center and is easy to reach. Even more so if you rent a bicycle - which I recommend, because Groningen is a great city to discover by bike. :) Oh, and Siska's breakfast is delicious, you don't want to miss it. Wij voelden ons welkom bij deze vriendelijke gastvrije mensen. Ze hebben een mooie tuin met allerlei gezellige hoekjes met vrij uitzicht waar je dus gebruik van mag maken.

Wat een fijne b&b. We kregen een warm en vriendelijk welkom, en het is een mooie rustige plek. De kamer is niet heel groot maar had precies de twee belangrijkste dingen die we zochten: Lekker (en met aandacht en liefde verzorgd) ontbijt en heerlijke bedden. We komen hier graag nog eens terug!

The interior design was tasteful and elegant, with so much attention to detail throughout the house and room — it truly felt special. Located in the heart of nature, it offered the perfect mix of comfort and peace. The apartment was fully equipped — a complete kitchen with tea, coffee, utensils, and thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. There was an optional paid service for meal preparation and snacks, plus a generous complimentary breakfast. One of my favorite parts was the outdoor seating in the backyard garden — a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. Knowing I had to leave early due to travel plans, they kindly woke up at 5 AM to prepare breakfast for me and pack it to-go. That level of care truly stood out. Highly recommended — I’d absolutely love to return!

Karen was super. En het was fijn om er te verblijven tijdens een klusweekend met mijn zoon.

Ingrid was very welcoming, and made us feel at home. She even provided a hose so we could wash our bikes before storing in the barn. This is a very peaceful location in the middle of a beautifully preserved village which is a sort of living museum. We would certainly stay here again.
